Banshee loomed over the humans, watching gleefully as they scurried around her feet, like ants to a food source. Except they weren't running to something. They were running away.

From her.

A voice screeched in the back of her mind. This was wrong. This was all wrong. These were people who had cared for her, people that were nice to her. They were her mother and father, her entire family. What was she doing?!

< This is wrong! > she cried out to anyone who might have been listening. With a flap of her wings, she was off the docks, flying away towards the center of the island. She needed to be away from this strange influx of feelings. It was all so very maniacal; a moment to breath was all she needed. Yes. Just a moment.

Quote:
Name: Banshee (given her to by keepers without ... consideration ...)
Species: Frost Wyrm like black skeletal icy dragon thing idk ;_; <3
Physical Description: She's kept in half humanoid most of the time. Currently in dragon form, as picture above. Half humanoid: Black hair dip dyed blue. It's straight and drapes in front of her face something like this. She's mostly skeletal with a glowy blue core, glowy blue eyes- its a deep saturated blue. Outfit is something like this w/ blue/black color scheme. Black skin with skeletal parts. Horns, wings- dragon-y stuff. Also has a foggy fog emitting from her body just to add to general ~spookiness~. When she's not half-humanoid, she's a frost wyrm, as pictured above.
Brief Character Profile: Banshee has a very strong sense of justice. She's very calculated, often thinking in percents and proportions. She has a really strong sense of what's right and what's wrong she is the law. She's relatively friendly, but can be somewhat stagnant to interact with. She likes technology and other things she can take apart and put back together. Has a hard time breaking out of her shell, but not neccessarily unfriendly. A speaks-when-spoken-to sort of person.

The big Cerberus had pinned her to the ground and Hannah could feel her bones creaking. Nothing broken, or at least it didn't immediately feel like it, but she would wager that she'd have a lot of bruises to show in the morning for this.
And then it'd barked her in the face and she'd stared up at it, half-certain that any moment now that steel-trap of a mouth would close around her and rip her head off. That didn't stop the thoughts of survival of course, the inane notion that if she struggled or attempted to fight back, she could somehow dislodge the creature and get away.

But that was a lie, she knew - her strength was nothing against what that thing had, and any attempt to struggle would only make things worse. No, she needed to be cunning, seize upon a moment of distraction, or something - a shift in its weight, anything. And then there it was, her moment of opportunity, and Hannah was up, scrambling away as fast as she could - which was not very fast at all, 'cause all her limbs felt like lead and everything seemed to hurt from the Cerberus' pinning. As she was backing away, keeping her eyes on the creature and the panic under her skin under control, it seemed to her that its expressions changed, became less menacing. In the end it didn't look all that aggressive at all, and a bit of the panic subsided. It was a nice monster, it'd saved them before, it might not have meant to hurt her when it came barrelling at her, just like it hadn't meant to hurt Lou.

The last thing she managed before the Cerberus was off to join its fellow creature was a shaky smile directed its way, meant to be reassuring. To show that she wasn't aggressive. She'd have spoken, but she wasn't quite up for that. Not yet.

When the creature had left her alone, she finally had time to take a deep breath and survey her surroundings. And balk. She'd heard the noises, yes, but they'd meant nothing to her because she had a situation of her own going on. But now... s**t, was Rin? The Security uniform and the Kevlar vest, but -- her head. Hannah ran a hand through the hair that'd come free from its ponytail somewhere along the way, looking weary and a bit haunted. Until the woman next to Rin's body started speaking; truthfully she hadn't even noticed the guest until then, too caught up in the gruesome sight of her fellow staff member's corpse. "It's just what they are, Miss. Don't-- don't think about it now, alright? There'll be time for philosophizing later, but it ain't now."

But the guest was right, they needed to move out of here. And they needed a destination. "Not the chopper - we need supplies first." They were all looking a bit battered, both the guest near Rin and the other one she'd also failed to notice until he spoke. "We best go to," she took a second to think and then she had it, "Lab A. It's the public Lab but it'll probably still have some supplies for us to grab. And it's close by." And the creatures there had all been babies, which would probably - hopefully - make them easier to handle if any were still left on the premises.

"Alright, follow me! I'll show ya the way to the Lab." And then she started moving towards the exit, only, there was a pulp of blood and bones and everything that constituted a human, only flat and unrecognizable and she had a bad feeling about this. And there, in the middle of the mess, was a little bit of shiny green fabric, designed to look like a scale. "Oh god, Lou." There was bile at the back of her throat, because as weird as Lou had been, she'd actually liked him, and now he was a mess on the ground. Bizarrely, she hoped it was the dragon who'd done it, that one of the other creatures hadn't taken that from Lou. He'd chosen this. That didn't stop the harsh burn of tears behind her eyelids though, and Hannah had to take a moment to collect herself.

Wayra vaguely heard one of the other guests mention another creature still being around, but the roaring in her ears made the words seem like a foreign language. Maybe part of her was going insane, she wasn't sure. what She was sure of was that another creature had shown up in the area and started attacking, then proceeded to give chase when the person calling out the the vet fled.

As she decided to come out from the spot next to the beheaded staff member, another screech sent her ducking back down. She looked on as the... wyrm?... that'd been standing on the docks shot into the sky and flew away, leaving a deafening silence in its wake.

Wayra stayed crouched on the ground, afraid to move. Afraid to speak. For all she knew, she was the only one who was still in this area, left completely alone. But there was always the chance something was still waiting, ready to pounce at the slightest noise. Silent tears streamed down her eyes as she turned to look at the woman who'd fought the dragon. Wayra wondered if the woman knew it was a losing fight. Probably. And yet she'd fought it all the same. A voice called out to Wayra, the remaining guide, saying they need to leave. Lab A? "That's fine, anywhere but here", she responded quietly with a strained voice.

Deciding that she dead woman couldn't simply stay like this, Wayra browsed her surroundings before her eyes set on a long branch. Giving it a small bend, she quietly took it back to the dead staff member and found a small clearing. She began digging, slowly and silently. After a while, a rough hole began to form under the dirt covered wood. Once Wayra deemed it deep enough, she set down the wood and began dragging the cold corpse towards the hole. Setting the body inside and positioning it with its arms crossed, Wayra once again picked up her makeshift shovel and began filling the hole.

Patting down the lose earth, she took the branch and dug it into the ground just above the hole she made and stepped back to observe her handiwork with a solemn sigh. It was a crude grave, but Wayra figured the person who'd saved them all at least deserved this much.

With that done, Wayra turned to the remaining living person and followed her away from the scene of carnage. Being alone was the scariest feeling in the world, but she was probably more scared of being found by something that had no qualms about tearing her apart. She'd come to this island happy and naively fawning over the creatures, her previous experience at her zoo leading her to believe that the residents would be her friends, that they wouldn't harm her or the others. Now, walking away from such a gruesome experience, she wasn't so sure.

Adriana lay on the ground, waiting for the inevitable, but after several minutes, she didn't feel the excruciating pain of being torn to pieces or something similar, so she slowly raised her head, and found herself... alone?

It seemed the dragon was gone, and... and...
Were those bodies?
She might have lost her lunch... and more.

Her knees felt weak, but after several minutes, she managed to calm herself down, averting her attention from the bodies.
She... she had to get out of here. Had to find Thomas.
He... he couldn't...
No. She had to find him. He HAD to still be alive. He HAD to. It was the only thing still keeping her going.

Wiping her mouth with the back of her hand, she pushed herself up and started to run.

((entering from ship))

There were signs of obvious battle, but nothing living was crawling about, so the swarthy man in the black sweater strolled past, glowing whip in hand.
