"You might as well join us till the bucket is empty," Naanash said, motioning the new silver rider to join them. He kept cutting up the pieces of meat and offered Sahar a chunk. "Here." He smiled, not showing any regret that he had not impressed as he offered the piece of meat. "I'm Naanash, but you can call me Nash if you care to."
"V'ail. I know. Vaail, V'ail not much different but it works for me." V'ail grinned, stroking the dainty crimson head as he fed her a few more bits of meat. "We're twins, incase you were wondering. This little lady is Lan."
She said primly and looked at her sibling, eyes softening to blue green as her hunger was abated.

Cradling the young silver against his chest, the new rider carefully shuffled closer to the twins as the little one eyed the two humans carefully. He was distracted, however, when the chuck was placed in his field of vision.
"Sahar is what I am known as." He laughed as the meat vanished and the maw promptly opened for more. "It's a pleasure to meet all three of you." He gave Lan a gentle smile as more was fed to Rineth. The silver, in response to his sibling, gave a gentle croon but spoke no words at the moment, being more focused on filling his belly.
"She's very beautiful...V'ail, was it?" A prod at his hand caused him to look down.
"Not before you introduce yourself properly." The food in question was held just a way out of reach.
He gave a tiny huff of "oh fine" at the mock glare before turning back towards his sister. With that, he broke away from the 'conversation' to munch on the food within reach again.

"Thank you, her ladyship would like to say her full name is Lanterneth." V'ail stroked under her chin and took a other piece of meat from his twin brother. "Sahar, have you given a thought of how you are going to collapse your name? Mine is easy and so is Nash's, if he ever impresses," V'ail teased and held out a piece of meat for the crimson to take.
"Male riders elide their names. It is tradition, like these stupid robes." Nash continued to dice the meat, relaxed. "I'm rather reassured I didn't. Not saying I do not want to impress, but it going to be a change staying here. I don't think we have ever stayed anymore than two sevendays?" "Might have been three... in that one hold."
Lanterneth turned back to her meal.

"Lanterneth...Well, if we're exchanging names then this little one is called Rineth." He smiled at the gentle croon and headbutt against his stomach, returning the gesture with a scratch under the chin.
"Name shortening?" The Candidate master had mentioned something to that effect during one lesson but he had never really put any thought into it. Then again, he never really put any thought into actually Impressing-
"Tradition....Well....I would probably do something easier to say, though I can't really seem to...Wait." A random idea. "What do you and Nash think of S'ar? Might that work? And as far as moving, I envy you a bit." He laughed lightly as more meat was passed between them. "I never actually moved beyond my families farm near one of the Holds so the biggest jump was when I got kidnapped by one of the Searchers."

Zarike
It had been a hard Hatching. Zarike was surprised by how drained he felt as another boy pressed him aside and ran towards the silver. He'd met Orlina's last smile with a desperate one of his own but now it was all over. He was aware enough that the next clutch would probably not be for a long time. The two young golds had only just clutched, and Brakiath may not ever again. Rumor was she was old and Abigail was stepping down soon. That meant she didn't rise anymore as far as Zarike knew.
Two turns till the missing gold grew old enough, and who knew where her clutch would be laid? Being a harper's son had it's down sides. He held his breath on a crimson clutch. There were only a couple old enough, not enough to really boost his odds. Sad thoughts filled his mind as he welcomed Dorado back into his arms and tried to put on a brave face for Orlina as he left his position on the Sands. No point in standing there anymore right?
Ailin
Ailin's exit was much quicker. He had things to do after all. The outcome of today did not surprise him in the least.
Z'fer
As Z'fer stood and stretched he wondered if Hekate was pleased or not to see another silver Hatched. Z'fer was mixed, his previous worries still standing ground. They might need that runaway gold after all. He might need her especially if his plans were ever to come to fruition. After all... Malvren had no queen.
Cai
And with that, the little baby crimson was now Cai's responsibility. Yes. She had Bereck, and Becka, and Cai. Cai was a crimsonrider. Cai had experience with sickly crimsons. She would Cai looked at Jemi again, alarmed as the woman screamed at the hatchlings on the sands. It seemed to have worked though as right when it looked like the silver was lost to them, his rider came crashing through the group and took claim of the pitiful looking hatchling.
Miath bugled her elation as all of the hatchlings Impressed. They are all so lovely! Did you see the climbing one? And the little babies?! They were all little babies of course, Miath was just excited over every new pair on the Sands. She trumpteded again in glee.

"Kidnapped?" Nash questioned, focusing on the oddity. It could be simple teasing. "It will be different to simply be in one place now. It might be good for Sunshine to keep in one place... for a few turns." He couldn't see staying in the Weyr forever and since the hatching was over.
He reached out and smiled as the familiar weight of Harbinger settling on his shoulder, the golden flit peering at both males and the dragons with a grumbling hiss of distempered before settling down. "S'ar would not be bad."
"You had to get the little crackskull warrior queen down here didn't you." V'ail glared at the flit and turned back to his... friend? Fellow class mate, rider.. blah, S'ar worked. "S'ar it is then. Don't touch the flit. She has a mouthful of sharp nasty teeth and will savage you. "

[Diedre]
And that was that. The silver impressed (she felt sorry for the little guy, to be honest) and her duty to stand had been done. Now... Now what.
Shenja and his... green. She walked over, cautious at the many eating dragons. Noisily eating dragons. With raw meat.
"Congratulations Shenja. Should I call you Sh'ja now?" the contraction sounded odd, maybe a little bitter in her mouth. "Whats her name?" it was the polite thing to ask.
She relaxed her hold on herself. Well, she and Shenja would have to have a long talk.
"I guess..." she kept the bitter notes from her voice as best she could, "I'll... have to tell Menndan he won't see you for a while..."
She bit her lip. Not yet. He wasn't going back with her, but she couldn't talk about it. Not yet. She'd start crying and there were people around.

Wait....Nash didn't actually think? Snorting slightly into the back of his hand, the Weyrling choked back a laugh before flashing the lad a big grin. "Nononono! Not actual kidnapping; believe me, I would have thrown a giant fit about being here if that was the case."
That's when the little Flit decided to make her appearance; still while feeding His, he blinked at the angry sound. Rineth stirred and stared back at Harbinger, head cocked slightly before letting out a soft noise. Angry flit was unimportant, food and being with His was all that mattered right now.
S'ar though; "Uh...I see. I take it not even a peace offering would help break the ice?"

"Nope, she hatched angry," V'ail snickered and took a other scoop of blood pieces to feed his little bondmate. "Harper fine as long as you don't touch her. Or threaten Nash. She a crackskull warrior queen."
"Ahh, and that does tend to be the most simple rule." Nash stopped cutting meat to cradle his flit, stroking down her pale gold back. "Do not touch and she will leave you alone. If you are lucky she might tolerate you."
"Don't count on it." V'ail replied and grinned. "I'm sure someone has a bunch of friendly flits you can hang out with. They tend to be little scavengers."

Thrarothar and Bumilth”Likewise. Nope wasn’t me.” Thrarothar shook his head. She trilled a greeting as the blue’s rider greeted her too. Now that she was full she couldn’t decide if she wanted to play or nap.

Shenja's smile dimmed a little as he leveled his gaze at his sister. "Nope. I'll go with Sh'en, I think" He really didn't want to contract his name at all, but his sister wanted him to, and he didn't want to fight with her. Not now. "Kal, this is my sister, Diedre. Diedre, this is Kalteth."
The green dragon may not have said it mind to mind, but she was distracted enough to head nudge Diedre before Shenja... Sh'en... handed her more food. "She says hi." There was absolutely no doubt in her mind as to what she wanted to do. "In a bit, Kally, in a bit." He felt, suddenly, apprehensive about his sister. It was in her expression, the uncertain slump to her shoulders, the held back emotion. "Do ya mind if we talk later, Didi?" he said, cheerfully, "I'm a bit busy"
"If I get to do the same" he still hadn't quite got the hang of the mind speaking yet. He put down the meat and hugged her. "See you at the feast, didi, me and her are going to stretch our legs."
"Sure. Just you and I for now, though. We'll let people join in."

Roan nodded, suddenly realizing the hatching was over. He looked and saw the little silver and was happy it found a rider to help it. He had never seen a atypical hatch before, he had seen the grown-up versions when he first arrived at Trine but he had to admit the hatchlings were very cute. And Bumilth's little trill at him made him grin at her okay all the hatchlings were cute.
He looked down at his own little dragon and smiled at him, continuing to rub him while it looked like Syriacuth would start to purr any minute, his eyes starting to droop. 'Sleepy?' Roan asked his dragon.
'Very.' Syriacuth responded, his eyes looking up at Roan expectantly. Roan chuckled. "Do you know where we're supposed to go now that everything's finished? Syriacuth is tired." Roan asked Thrarothar. He blinked after a moment, realizing that he might have to change his name. It seemed most male riders changed their names, But what could he change it to? R'on? R'an? Ro'n? Roa? Did he have to change his name? Maybe he could ask the candidatemaster... or the Weyrlingmaster. Were they even the same person?
Meanwhile, while Roan was fretting, Syriacuth wanted to roll his eyes. 'Just keep your name, it's your name.' He said as he shifted to lay on his side, 'You're mine, you can call yourself whatever you want but you'll still be mine.' that made Roan smiled. 'What do I call you then? Syriacuth is a very long name you know.' The dragon hissed alittle. 'It is a GOOD name.' Roan pulled his hand away, 'I didn't say stop petting.' Roan raised an eyebrow. 'Why do I need a nickname hm? I am the only one with my name.I don't want to give it up.' Roan sighed as Syriacuth tilted his head up to look at his bondmate. 'Sometimes it's hard to say your name, how about I call you Syria? Just between you and I?' He offered. The dragon thought about it. 'We'll see.' He finally responded.
