"Oh! Hello! Hi! Let me help!" Cyan called out, stepping out in front of a dark schemed ghoul. She flourished the rapier in her hand and blocked the abomination's attack, then gave a swift little jab. It wasn't much, but it kept the thing at bay for a little.
"You can do it! Just try!"

Not the most impressive follow up to her initial attack, but there was no point in dwelling on that. Pivoting on her heel, she spun her glaive around before swinging it down in a wide arc, aiming straight for the target. Before she could really process it, words rose to her lips unbidden as her weapon's blade let off a faint pink light and sliced forward.
"Radiant Illumination Strike!"
She would question the name later. Until then, well...hopefully her attack had done some good at least.
As if fueled by her irritation at the situation, a large piece of ice in the form of a lance started to form above Alvar's head.
"Arctic Lance!"
The ice lance shot towards the enemy like a bullet, following the swing of her pollaxe. However, the damage dealt to the enemy wasn't...that great.

To be honest, Calliope would rather not work with Arietta. She didn’t even know why they got off to such a rocky start, but they had and there was no changing that. The girl kept smiling, but narrowed her eyes just so at the other reaper before her attention snapped toward the Thing. Geezus, what kind of stupid crap was it spewing no—
Wish? Her face twisted into ugly confusion. For a moment she appeared genuinely confused, perhaps even a bit lost, but then anger flared up. “Fighting, right right,” she grumbled as she warily observed the creature in front of her. Calliope’s grip on her pistol sword tightened before staring at the gleaming blade. Hopefully she had learned how to use this and her body could recall some useful moves.
She appeared confident when she raised her weapon.
The result? Meh.

A quick spin on her heel after that flurry of blows, she almost felt sure of herself at this point. She could do this, she could fight and protect the-
And then her balance slipped as she felt herself teetering to one side. "YEEK!" A shrill cry escaped her as she flopped down to the floor. At least one of the blades had slipped along the beasts side as she did. It left a wimpy little scratch, but perhaps it was enough.
Still, that hurt her pride a bit, she'd been doing so well... and with all that noise. Well maybe with the chaos of everyone springing forth they wouldn't notice. She just had to get back up and get to work again. "It's ok... it's ok..."A quick pause and she struck another pose, once more ready for combat. She could do this. Hopefully.

She was about to reach out her hand, offering the girl a handshake, when the strange familiar appeared again.
"You! I-" what your wish was? I believe that will help you remember who you are. >
... her... wish? She paused, trying to think, but it was no use. All she could remember... was her own name, and... it seemed everything else was just a blur. "I-" Fight? Save lives? Oh dear Jack this was actually real? "Wait, please, what do you-"
She felt a tremble, a rip in distortion, and froze as something seemed to assimilate, dark wispy tendrils oozing from its figure as it cast an eerie smile on them all.
< It looks like our time has run short! Fight on and be strong, remember what you promised! > "... what? Wait! Come back! I-"
A screech jolted her back to their current predicament, and she bit her lip. Now wasn't the time for questions. Whatever this... thing was, they had to fight it, or countless people would get hurt.
Heaving a sigh, she squeezed her eyes shut, and within moments, the sun-shaped shield was summoned once more. Considering she had almost retired someone earlier by throwing this, she realized it could be thrown... as a weapon. Yes, she should do this... at the enemy, and not an ally.
So, making sure she made sure where she was aiming it (and keeping her eyes open), she did a few spins, and let the shield go soaring towards the figure, and watched as it cleanly sliced off several tendrils.
"It is pleasure to meet you all!" Tatiana nodded. She was about to say more, but that white thing had returned to speak some more. A wish? Hm. The mage wasn't entirely certain what that was, but she didn't have any time to really think about it. And well, soon enough, it was time to fight.
"Ah! Battle is upon us. Let us fight 'ard and vell my friends!" she called out before calling out her weapons. She wasn't entirely certain how she knew how to do this, but it just sort of came to her in a way. Pretty soon, there were two pistols in her hands.
Tatiana darted to the side, firing off one shot at the... whatever it was.
Tarnished pride aside, she had some confidence to her again. She couldn't slack off. Ridley, Maria, Tamara... they were all going to fight too! She had to do this to protect them. It was all she had left, and if she lost that...
A dull ache echoed in her chest as she let out a bit of a whimper. No. No she wouldn't let it hapen. "For my friends!" She stamped a foot, glaring angrily at the thing. An ever imposing creature the pink garbed blond might have been. You know. If it didn't look so cute. Still, the greenish glow on the blades flared up, seeming as if it would encircle even the girl as several green bands appeared behind her as well. Mimics of the chakram in her hand as she suddenly leapt forward with a howl of anger. "TEMPEST'S HOWL!" She didn't know why she called that, but it felt right. The blades in the air spun forward as she did, darting angrily at the questionable thing in a fit of anger as she spun around it and tore at it avidly. Obviously she was rather ticked and making up for lost ground from before. It was hurting people, well she'd hurt it.
More.
The anger of a pent up teenager might have been quite the frightening thing indeed.

Acquaintances? Cassandra looked up from her, ah, boomerang and shook her head. Where had all those girls come from? How hadn't she - seen or heard them?
No, she'd definitely heard them, she amended. She'd just been ignoring the sound in favor of trying to figure out...where exactly they were. And what she was wearing, because clothes were important. She was good at ignoring things! (Was she? She didn't really know, but she'd bet on it, for sure!)
She turned her head swiftly toward the tiny white thing that was speaking - or that she'd thought was speaking. It didn't move its mouth at all, which meant, Andra was sure, that it wasn't speaking. But where was that voice coming from? And what did it mean by...a wish? No, she didn't want to know that. She knew what a wish was.
But she was sure she made wishes all the time: like, right now? She wished desperately that she knew what was going on, and why there were so many girls gathered here dressed like this.
She didn't have much time to do that, though, because a weird...thing interrupted the thing's speech.
Wait, wait - fight? Cassandra hadn't agreed to that! She'd have remembered it. But as the thing loomed nearer, she took a breath and threw the boomerang bodily at it, and hoped she wouldn't trip in the process. She could hurt someone, you know! Also, it would be embarrassing.
"Wauuuugh!" she screamed, mostly in terror, as the weapon sailed through the air, hit the thing squarely with one of its spiky ends, and then...turned back toward Cassandra? She froze, caught in the path of certain death before it stopped just in front of her and she reached up to grasp it once more, jaw still locked open.
How had that happened?

Her smiled was calm at first as she clicked her tongue with disapproval at her dismal attack, but her eyes burned with outrage and disappointment at herself. Calliope was better than that. She didn’t know what her wish was or why she was here or who she had been, but somehow she knew she could be stronger than the flimsy attack she had just dealt it. Jaw locked, she lifted her arm and swung with more surety and strength. This time, she stepped back with a pleased grin dancing on her lips just before she bumped into another girl.
As she looked at Cassandra, Calliope leaned back at the shell on her back. There was no time to filter her thoughts. “Weirdo. You have a shell on your back.”
Oh.

Her hands hovered beside the creature's head, her eyes, for the first time, not on him but on the sharp steel coiled between her fingers. Alone, it was harmless, even pretty, metal polished to the face of a mirror, but as she tilted her palms down to rest them in her lap, the light caught the razor's edge, glinting a dangerous warning to its master.
The sudden jarring appearance of something else drew her attention away from what she had grown to know as 'truth,' pale blue eyes flicking to the new addition. At first, there was that same bewilderment, her eyebrows lifting before they furrowed, her pretty face setting into a worried stare. That which had awoken her seemed displeased by the thing which approached, and so naturally she disliked it.
Leaping to her feet, Claire clenched her tiny fists, steel grinning by whatever light source Zoo decided to provide. With a positively evil expression, the twelve year old lunged, screaming like a banshee.

It truly looked like nothing could stop the little girl from tearing the place apart. She grinned in triumph, until something slammed into her back, setting her flat on the floor with her face in the dirt. She couldn't breathe for a moment, from the force of the impact, but when she pushed herself up again and felt her back, she could tell a lot more than just the fall had hurt her. Something was wrong with her skin, where it touched her. Wrong, all wrong. She took her Fear Core out of her pocket to check it, and sure enough, it reflected the damage that put her at such unease. Soft lines of black smoke were escaping the cracks, and she put her hand over it to stop the flow, before looking up at the monster.
"You're a bad, bad thing." She murmured with a pout. "I hope someone puts you away for good."
While she was pondering what her wish was she flipped her bo's positions and grazed the thing barely. She wasn't sure what was more important, her wish or the fight.
But one of her friends was doing an excellent job of fighting. Go Orina go!

Oh boy, oh boy.. she was definitely going to keep an eye on these two. Rubbing at the back of her neck, she watched the them both silently, ready to step in and break them up if need be. Luckily, things cooled down enough for the girls to back down from each other.
"You as well." She nodded to Calliope.
Her gaze landed upon the small creature again as they spoke. "Our wish?" By remembering that, they would be able to recall their life before now? Even if that were true, how were they to do that if they couldn't remember anything? Not like they had much time to think on it anyways.
"Whoa.." They were to fight that? What was it?
With Calliope already off, she turned to Arietta with a small smile. "We'll talk later." With that said, she too joined in the fray.
Running up alongside the girl calling to her, Hanna manged a small smile as she struck at the boss with a swift strike. "Thanks." The more help, the better.

The shield whirled around, and Adelaide ran towards it, reaching out with both hands to catch it. Luckily, there was a strap underneath where she could slip it on her arm as a shield, so she managed to not slice her hands off as she grabbed it, twirling around twice and nearly toppling over from the weight and effort. She really needed to figure out a better way to use this.
She did one more spin and let the shield soar once more, using the momentum to hopefully deliver a blow equal to before.
