Kari stepped out of the booth and gazed at the results in mild shock. "Wow... for someone that I've only met in passing, we seem to have very good compatibility", Kari chuckled. "It seems I managed to win something, too", she murmured before realizing what she'd just said. "OH, that was so stupid of me to say, I'm sorry you didn't win anything this time, I hope you have better luck in the future", she continued in a panic, realizing how insensitive her previous comment had been. Especially so considering Millie had gone out of her way to be her partner. Millie might even hate her for the careless comment! "In any case, thank you for coming with me", she said with a small smile. "Would you... and I completely understand if you don't want to..." Kari's voice trailed off for a moment before finally taking a breath to calm herself. "Would you like to be friends?", Kari asked, holding out her hand in invitation.

Millie laughed, "It seems to give me that result every time I try no matter who it's with, so no worries. I just thought it might give me a different result since I'm with different people..." Millie smiled at Kari's offer and took her outstretched hand. "I'd love to have a friend." Millie turned to the board and stuck her tongue out at it. Where's one of those golem things Roch told me about when you need one... she thought sourly even though that was a terrible thing to wish even though it just meant she wanted this silly machine to tell her something other than "be the best of friends!" Because then that would mean... everyone she had met thus far would be a really good friend.

Olivia had only returned back to the machine in hopes of finding her phone, if she had been by the spot before she hadn't been sure as her eyes kept mostly to the ground to see if she could spot the familiar sheen of the case or even the glimmer of the coin that hung by a string from it.
There, she stood in one spot, letting her eyes glide across the area to see if she could spot it before she would move on. The ghoul wasn't aware of all those around her as they passed and went. Just... stood there.

The frost demon was flustered. His brother had been sending him random text messages and he could not find Molan for the life of him.
He was really going to hear it from father.
Grimacing, Etzer pulled out his phone and texted his brother back, wanting to facepalm at this particular moment. After the message was sent, he sighed and ran a hand over his hair, glancing around the booth.
Wait, what was this? He checked out the machine and triggered it somehow, the corner of his lips twitching and threatening to put a smile on his face. Who could he bring in...
Ah! That ghoul there. Wait, didn't she look familiar...? And she looked like she was looking for something...
No matter. Sidling close to her, he reached out and drew his fingers down her jaw, tilting her head up and smiling. "Would you... be interested in the test?" His eyes flicked to the machine, and then back to her. He didn't wait for an answer before he pressed a kiss to the corner of her lips, his kiss chaste.
And then he remembered her. He remembered that she was looking for Molan, was interested in...
... oh Jack.

Wait. Olivia's eyes sprung open in an instant the she felt a cool touch to her chin, bringing her ups up and off the floor. She recognized this boil, this boil had been with Molan. This boil was Molan's brother. Honestly, she was inclined to agree to go into the machine with him, seeing as how she had given up on trying to figure it out ('cause, why not really at this point, right?). But then Olivia's brain just kind of came to a crashing halt the moment his lips touched so dangerously close to being that kind of kiss.
If at all possible, her eyes got bigger.
Well.
Huh.
If at all possible for her to blush, her cheeks would be aflamed - well maybe there was a small hint of a dusty blue to them in some form of the embarrassed response. (It was also probably a good thing for Etzer that she didn't consider his brother in that way. Well. Not yet probably).
Olivia found her feet moving on automatic towards the machine, probably because there was much else to do - and Etzer had asked... nicely? Or maybe it was because she had done it so many times that they knew where to go.

Well, he hoped his brother wouldn't find out about that.
Etzer had been busy today with doing things he hoped his brother wouldn't find out about, but he had the sneaking suspicion that Molan would find out anyway.
"I, uh... believe we haven't exchanged names yet." The corner of his lips twitched as he fought not to smile. "I'm Etzer. I believe... you know of my brother Molan?" His eyes were inquiring, interested if she was indeed involved with his brother. "Have you... known him long?"

Watching the lights and hearing all the clanking was like a nice little reboot, in the form of a distraction of what had just happened. Olivia watched with scarling-like wonder at it like she had the first time.
And then realized what she was doing.
Oh. Right.
She wasn't even going to look at the results. (Okay, maybe a little peek. They were a little better than her and Molan's but at least not so much that would cause her to go into a crushing state. At least it won them a prize). She probably wasn't going to tell Molan about this.
This was his brother.
"We met at the candy booth briefly," Olivia managed to finally say something. "I'm Olivia," oh good, she remembered her name, this was a good sign of recovery. Her eyes were still amazingly gigantic, but she was at least responsive and got out of the machine. She just looked awkward.
And stood there for a moment, trying to think over his question. "Not too long, we met on a field trip." She told him in a quiet little voice with no idea what he was trying to get out of her.

"Ahh, I seee. So you aren't... dating him?" Etzer demurred, tilting his head at her. "I... think my brother would kill me if I kissed his ghoulfriend." He tapped his lips and grinned sheepishly.
"I apologize, you just... looked like you needed it."

Oh, okay. Well, still it wasn't like those questions were really obviously leading her mind into this one that got down to the point of it all; they were simply enough inquiries, right?
Dating ... him....?
Olivia could once again feel her mind beginning to slip into that very embarrassed state where one would once again feel the need to blush. "Oh," she squeaked with a blank face. "Oh, nono.. nothing like that." She told him, her hands out, waving to brush the idea away. It was a nice thought, really but not one that ever crossed her mind; well maybe (a tiny and small thought that was confusing so you just didn't think about it) but she liked everyone so it was hard to tell sometimes. "We're just friends." Even if he wouldn't use the term, because she always did no matter what.
She pulled her hands back, a little sheepish for her actions. "I," what did one say to that? "Thank.. you?"

Okay, so his brother wouldn't kill him. Well, that was good news. Etzer noted the blush, but figured that he didn't need to make it any worse. She was cute, but he didn't want to break her. Well... not more than he already had.
The frost demon glanced at his skellyphone again, sighing. He really needed to find Molan.
"I don't suppose you've seen him around, have you?" Etzer questioned, a look of worry now on his face. He really needed to check on his brother.

No. More breaking would be bad, it was enough with how many fires she'd seen over the course of this whole festival. At least this wasn't as bad, maybe even a little nice. It wasn't going to kill her (just frazzle with an easier recovery).
The look of worry was hard to miss at least, but all Olivia could do was sadly shake her head. "No, I'm sorry." Come to think of it, when was the last time she had seen him? Probably here, she found everyone here. "Try the dart booth?" It was where she sent Mia that one time and Molan was good at that game.
And then realized why she was here in the first place as well, once she caught a glance at the phone in his hand. Oh right, she was looking for hers.

Giving her a nod, he finally smiled. "Thank you, I think I will." He gave a slight bow. "I should probably ... go find him. It was wonderful meeting you again. Stop by sometime?" Drawing out a card with his name and room number, he gave it to her before heading off.

Andrew hated this booth, so much but it really was the best chance that he would have of finding the ghoul he was looking for. She would most likely come back here looking for it, he had… just avoided it up till now. Oh there she was. THERE SHE WAS. Andrew froze up staring at her and then fumbled for her phone in his pocket. It was in good shape, as good as when he picked it up. “Ahh…” he got out, flame burning a little hotter. No... that wouldn’t do. “Olivia.” Much better. “I’ll just set this here on this table… ok?” he set the phone down and backed off, way off, hoping she would take it.

"Alright," she smiled back, feeling any left over oddity in the air just lifting away. "Good luck," the ghoul called to him as he retreated. Molan seemed to be very crafty in not being found.
But now she had another thing to stare at and Olivia gripped it with both hands like it was a precious thing. Her first name and room number offering on a card, how very cool. Even if it did spark from a very awkward situation. She smiled brighter.
Then jumped at the sound of her name, recognizing the voice that said it. She turned, hesitation in her eyes as she looked at Andrew. She looked from his face and then to the object in his hand as he placed it on the table.
So, he did have it after all.
"Thank you," she said in a small voice. That awkward feeling creeping right back up again. Should she go over to him? She didn't know. The fire. She stayed where she was. "I'm glad.. that you had it." Somehow she knew if he did, he'd keep it safe.

"Er.. You are welcome." she didn't come any closer, even after he had backed away. "I won't... I won't bother you anymore. Ok." he backed up another step or two. "So if I see you again... I'll just leave you alone. Ok?" It really was the best thing to do. He liked her, but being well fire, he knew all along it wouldn't work out, not even as friends. He was being selfish, just talking to her.
