Naku G-175 Rank: 1st Leuitenant Class: Spartan III Branch: Army Rayna G-121 Rank: Seargent Class: Spartan III Branch: Army Naku received the orders from the Midsummer Night. He grabbed his M395 and M7S, loading them with a clip each and putting on the safety before placing both weapons on their magnetic 'clamps,' the DMR on his back, and the SMG on his right hip. He code locked the pelican and walked out to the rest of the marines. "We will have reinforcements inbound soon. In the mean time, four marines, guard the ship and set up the beacon for the pelican that will be coming in. The rest of us will check out the camp and search for clues and possibly survivors." Naku said. He was about to head out with Rayna and the rest of the team when the coms kicked in again, informing them of covenant deployment, other then the reinforcements from the Elites. "Belay my last, prepare the beacon now and get ready for enemy covenant forces. It would seem we are going to have a very eventful evening." Naku said, as he turned back to his pelican, motioning Rayna to join him. The Marines did as they were told, setting up the beacon for the pelican that was coming down to land. The grasslands were too esposed for them to bunker down, so they returned to the pelican once the beacon was placed, grabbing as much gear as they could carry. "Sir, the camp site where we were going to investigate seems to be a defensible area. We could hold up and wait for further instructions from command." one of the marines said while grabbing gear. Naku had thought as much as both Rayna and himself held onto a pair of small towers. "Good thinking private. Seargent, get your marines to the camp grounds and set up. We'll join up with you once we are finished. Report anything you see, but don't get near the beacon or any other equipment. Once reinforments arrive, prepare to move."As the marines left, Naku and Rayna set up the little towers around the pelican, making sure that they were able to surround the pelican. Once completed, Naku touched a button on a small remote, activating the towers. All four towers expanded about two meters up, scaning the area around them before seeming to connect to each other by a single beam. So the pelican began to disappear in small, octogon shape light as the towers set up a portable cloaking device around the pelican, hiding it from view within moments. "Rayna, go to the camp and make sure the marines are prepared. Make sure they don't get near the beacon or any of the equipment. Once the Spartans arrive, I'll be there." Rayna looked at Naku, placing her hands on her hip when he heard other Spartans were going to be showing up. Even though she was wearing her helmet, Naku could feel her eyes giving him a pissed off look. "Really?! More Spartans? We arn't enough? Even if we are at half strength, that doesn't mean we can't take on these covenant. We've face far worst then what they might throw at us. And this time we are equiped as well as the Spartan II were, better, I think." Rayna said, she being upset that they had to have back up by other spartans. "I understand what your saying Rayna, but you have to understand that we are at half strength. Had we had our full team, I'd advise otherwise, but orders are orders. Don't worry, we'll show them what we can do.""But... all they will do is slow us down. At least with Marines as reinforments, they can watch each others back...""Enough Ray! can we not have this now? Please, just trust me."Rayna cocked her head and placed one of her hands on her helmet as she showed a sign of submission. "I really hate when you do that Naku. Fine, I'll go check on the jarheads and wait for you."Naku watched as Rayna left, joging to the camp site where they would set up. To them, she was jogging to the marines. To any marine that saw her when she arrived, she was running. Meanwhile, Naku waited for the second pelican, using the coms connected to his pelican to give them a clear line to talk to them.

John pulled over and parked a few blocks away from the hospital and quietly snuck into a neighboring building and mounted his sniper rifle and checked the thermal scope. Not really catching much on the scope he packed up and moved out just as quietly as he came in and infiltrated the hospital deactivating equipment that could throw the sensor readings off as he searched the hospital room by room.
Viktor, Weber and the rest of the squad ran up to the 15th floor and waited for the staff sergeant to regroup with him all while securing the floor from the now incoming hostiles. Viktor didn't like how this staff sergeant assumed he was in command here. He was the senior non commissioned officer here at first sergeant, but he let that slide as they had more important things to worry about then chain of command. like getting the Say My Name crew back aboard their ship and then getting the ******** off planet.

Alucard heard the ODST's enter the 15th floor barely as he eyed out the window as a Covenant phantom prowled nearby. He stepped away from the window and opened the door as he called out. "Friendlies!" He took off his helmet as he raised his hands so they could clearly see he was human. Alucard was well aware of his break in the chain of command but didn't really care. He just said what he thought would make it easier. But having there been no objection so he wouldn't consider it like that. He gave a stand down order they approached the ODST's Alucard's helmet back on his head. " The pelican already arrived. My squad has orders to clear out tier 3 buildings so we are on our way to the space port." Alucard noted just how on edge everyone was. The Covenant forces nearby didn't help anything either as Alucard waited for a response from the First Sergent.

Curtis kept an eye on the hospital as the Major cleared it up of anything that could jam the signal. There were actually some odd things though, "Major, I don't think there is anyone here, but it looks like the place was recently used. Scan's show really faint traces of commotion in the storage sheds... odd, maybe the survivors tried getting medication for any wounded." Sinclair picked up, "If there are any wounded, we need to hurry along then. Major, Curtis will send you the coordinates to the Orbital Elevators, I'll head down myself and go to the city core. That way we won't have to worry about navigating through traffic twice. I'll keep in touch." Sinclair picked up his personal communicator and made his way to the hanger. Curtis spun up the ship's engines and began to descend into the planet's atmosphere to make up for time. Sinclair pressed his hand on his ear, "Curtis, we need you to guide us both. The planet is being invaded again, and I will be damned if they win this time." Sinclair walked up to the pelican, a soldier in all black held up a weapon for him. It was another Railgun. He took it along with his standard sidearm. No need to be too flashy... Sinclair stepped in the bird and waited until the Horse was close enough for a short departure.

John still checked the hospital room by room, A.I.s were wrong from time to time so he checked confirming the artificial intelligence's statement. He exiting the hospital and ran back to his warthog, and took off down the ruined packed streets to the orbital elevators on the other end of the city. He occasionally drove through ruined buildings when he encountered gaps in the road from weapon scoring. After about twenty minutes he pulled around to the the Orbital elevator complex and shut the engine off and grabbed his rifles and began to sweep the area for the Lieutenant Commander.
The pelicans containing the Spartans took a hit on its portside engine from Covenant aircraft forcing it to divert to the F.O.B. for repairs but not before the Spartans grabbed parachutes and specially designed to hold their weight and jumped from the pelican, landing near the two Spartan-IIIs. Randall walked up to them and said "Lieutenant Commander Randall-037, Im here to assist you two, whats the situation?" he said as the other Spartan-IIs fanned out and began to secure the area without even being ordered.
Viktor and his ODSTs held their fire as they saw the marines enter the floor. Viktor took off his helmet, ill advised in a combat zone but it was getting damned hot in that thing, saying to the sergeant in his thick Russian accent "Yes I am well aware of your orders Staff Sergeant, you however called for reinforcements so here we are. Now lets get these buildings cleared we have lots of people we need to recover and that its getting harder every moment we stand around, so can we get a move on?" he said putting his helmet back on his head and readying his SAW when he heard a noise.

Naku G-175 Rank: 1st Leuitenant Class: Spartan III Branch: Army Rayna G-121 Rank: Seargent Class: Spartan III Branch: Army Naku gave Randall the spartan smile hand signal. "Good that you and your team are ok. I ordered the rest of my team to move our equipment to the camp. Our ride is secure for now." Naku said, motioning Randall to follow as he headed for the camp. He switched the com over to the Midsummer Night. "Sierra Gamma 175 to Night. Your spartan team has arrived, though their ride has been diverted by covenant forces. We are heading to the beacon now, over." Naku looked back up to the sky, seeing another patrol of covenant banshees checking the area, making sure that the area was clear. By this time however, they were already gone. Naku lead the spartans to the grounds. The marine's spirits lifted when they saw that more spartans were here. The place was well fortified for a ground assault. It seems that the building the beacon was in was an old bombing shaft that was mostly intact, minus the old remains of the humans that attempted to flee to the shelter when the glassing began. Others appeared fresh though, and from the looks of it, the crew of the Say My Name. Something felt off to Naku, as if this was a trap, or something that isn't known. Rayna walked up to Naku, using the spartan smile as her greeting. "They have done well. We got the rockets ready for any air assaults they send their way, and we were able to find 2 old mounted gun I got back in working order." She reported, then saw the spartans and smirked under her helmet. "So these are our reinforcements? Welcome to the party. So when do we go hunting?" She spoke to them, wanting to get the show on the road. Naku could tell by her little movements that she was itching to go,but first, they had one thing to do before they went hunting. "Show us the beacon Ray." He requested. Rayna nodding and headed towards the beacon, leading them to it. The beacon was secured, and seemingly untouched by anything other then the cruel fate of time. The only thing that could put anything off was the fact that the key pad that was used recently. He changed his vision to inferred and saw that other then the machine, the key pad was cold, with very faint signs of heat left by whoever used it last. "This was recently activated." Naku stood back up, switching back to normal vision. "They used the command code to activate it. Possibly a survivor, but unsure. Not enough info to be sure."

Curtis spoke up to Clarkson, "These elevators were very famous in Harvest. all seven of them would lead straight to the satellite, Tiara. Since there is seven of them, it takes an enormous amount of magnetic energy to prevent it from leaning and collapsing on itself, let alone allowing the elevators to go straight into space. In other words, the magnetic energy hasn't exactly let up since the glassing, it just contained it making my readings of the area fuzzy. A perfect place to hide, but then again the ultra magnetism might do a number on neural transplants. They are magnet safe, but the safety issue around these busted lines makes the statement into a theory." Sinclair cut in, "Just be careful in there Major, and hold on to your gun tightly around those magnetic generators and lines. You let your weapons fly to those things, you may never get them off unless we properly shut them down... which will take more time than we have." Curtis continued, "Oh, and due to the magnetic fluxes, is might be hard to keep up commun-" The line turned to static as Clarkson entered the compound. Sinclair tried to contact him, "Clarkso*bzzz* you hear m*bzzz*? I am landi*bzzzz* central core. Curtis will keep try*bzzz* Just be careful and meet me*bzzz* if no survivor*bzzz*" The line went out to static.
Sinclair exited the pelican with his hand on his earpiece. He cursed to himself and switched lines, "Curtis, keep trying to reestablish communications with him. And keep an eye out for anything coming our way." The AI spoke with an interesting concern, "Sir, enemy drop ships are showing up in more places, and I'm sure the other ships will see your pelican soon. And plus, the Central Core was made from the remnants of the Skidbladnir. There is a chance that it is spilling out radiation. Since the core is underground, I can't see it from up here." Sinclair smirked, "Don't worry, I'll be fine." Sinclair looked at the three ONI guards with him and nodded, they all began to carfully navigate to the inside to possibly find survivors and the traitor.

Planet Harvest The Alien ships sensors registered all the movement on the planets surface, the Human landing crafts deployments and the crew movement. Now they were picking up Covenant Dropship launching from their ships quickly before the ships even came to a slow stall. Twelve dropships were registered to enter the atmosphere each followed by a pair of Banshee as escorts, just as the last banshee entered the atmosphere both Battle Cruisers quickly pulled away from the planet at high speed, and fired their FTL drivers. The Alien ships sensors continued tracking the Cruisers speed and trajectory as the sped away to meet their fleet which was on route to another location. One of the officers on the Alien Ship running surface scans sounded an alert as scans began to show strange activity under one of the destroyed cities. The Captain stood up with a look of distaste in his eyes as he approached the console flashing red, his gaze turned cold as he recognized the organic matter that was being registered and he watched as the humans quickly transverse the city in their primitive vehicles. The two Battle Cruisers sped off to join their fleet on route to a meet with a large carrier group, as they left their soldiers to deal with the emergency beacons left by the humans. The Dropships scattered each one heading to the location of beacon activity, each one packed with as many grunts and brutes that could fit in them. Two ships made a quick run towards the first beacon location while another two went straight for the second beacon location. The others spread out to other locations to drop off jackals and grunts while the Banshees started runs at the beacons. That is my official DM post, in case you may or not be aware Harvest was one of the richer human colonies. And it's safe to say that most likely it had a Flood infection on it, so for those that didn't get the alien surface scan thing. There maybe floor spores in the area, or even flood creatures.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lieutenant Sharp Rank: Lieutenant Class: Pilot Service Branch:Navy Military Operational Specialty: Pilot, Marksman Vessel: UNSC Happy Days Location: Pelican ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mood: Excited Disposition Good "no I swear commander I didn't bring a cat on board" Lt Sharp ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lt Sharp smiled as she closed the rear hatch and watched the little lights and dials all lit up green, and the Pelican lifted up then slowly pulled out of the launch bay. She was very happy and started her launch announcement. " This is your captain speaking, please keep your hand and feet inside the pelican at all times. In the event of an accidental landing or decompression tuck your head between your knees and kiss your a** goodbye. " She grinned a little to herself as she turned the Pelican towards the planet and it descended quickly. She turned her transmitter on and said in a soft voice "This is Pelican 269er, we are heading to the planets surface, we will maintain radio silence once we enter atmosphere" she watched her dials again and turned her transmitter off as the Pelican hit the atmosphere and heading down to nearest safe landing zone that wasn't covered in glass. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rico S-045 Rank: Captain Class: Spartan II Service Branch:Navy Military Operational Specialty: SpecOps, Recon Vessel: UNSC Happy Days Location: Pelican ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mood: Disposition "Happy is the day we live in, for tomorrow may be our last." Rico ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rico had closed his eyes and looked like he was asleep, the stiffness of his body was like watching the wind and water from a tsunami crash against a mountain and do nothing more then cool it off. His breathing was slow and deep as he readied himself, almost in a trance like state. The marines around himself shook and wiggled as they thought about what was to come, they could be facing something strange or unusual, they might have to deal with Covenant or even Insurrectionist, some of them even played with the thought of finding mutants from under ground created by the radiation. But they looked at Rico and swallowed hard, before a battle no one was that calm not even Spartans could be that calm they thought. What they weren't aware of was that Rico was in fact sleeping on the way down, he seamed to enjoy a good nap before working and the armors could lock in place and hold the same position for long periods for time without him having to worry about falling over or tipping over. ((OOC Yes my guy is asleep and yes I took forever to post, I was having issues with WIN95}} ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unknown Rank: Commander Class: Spartan IV Service Branch:Navy Military Operational Specialty: SpecOps, Recon , Infiltration Vessel: UNSC Happy Days Location: Pelican ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mood: Bad Disposition Annoyed "No means no, Commander" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The female Spartan watched as the marines made idol chatter and rude comments about zombies and mutant hill billies, she smirked a little as she took a look at her tactical display pad on her left wrist. It began to display all the information ONI had recently collected on Harvest and several things that it had not reported to the rest of the Navy. She watched and read the files as quickly as she could as the Pelican descended, she didn't like going anywhere unprepared and this wasn't her cup of tea. She preferred not to fall into enemy laps in tin cans and that is what it was feeling like to her. She watched over Rico, she knew he was sleeping, she didn't know much about Spartan II Training but she knew enough about him to know he preferred to sleep anytime he could. She figured it was the best way to do it either way, since you don't want to be too tired or off your game in combat. The only problem she had was not knowing what the man was thinking when he was asleep. If my post seam random or delayed it's due to the Windows 3.1 upgrade

John scanned the area with his SRS99-S5 Sniper Rifle the magnetic interference was playing hell with his thermal scope, but however he did bring a standard scope and affixed it to his rifle and no sooner had he set it up then when none other then Lieutenant Commander Christopher Sizemore walks out presumably to check on the situation, that's when John adjusted for windage, altitude, humidity, and then he took the shot, one moment the traitor was staring right at him the next his headless body was hitting the ground. "Rest in pieces you b*****d." he said to himself as he made his way back to the warthog.
John tossed his rifle into the passenger seat of the warthog and fired it up and then took off to rendezvous with the Commander at the central core sector. "Hello Commander Sinclair, It's Major Clarkson, I have eliminated my target, do you copy?" He said as he drove as fast as he could to the commanders current location.

Alucard decided it best to just inform get the mission over. Like Viktor said every second is another person possibly dead. Alucard raised his rifle as there was a scuffle in the staircase. They were all present in the hallway so it had be someone else. He put out on the general frequency they used a call for anybody nearby to report in. "This is Sergent Graves hailing any units in the area could you report location."Alucard lowered his Radios volume as it crackled to life with units reporting in as the squad from the pelican notified they were still on the roof. Alucard gave a glance towards Viktor as he looked back at his own squad and spread his fingers apart telling them to fan out. He began to approach the doorway to the staircase as he heard heavy breathing. It was shallow and dense and not human as he gave another glance at Viktor and mouthed the words. "Covenant Forces."He aimed his DMR at the wall right were a body would be if they planned on breaching as he waited wanting to make sure it was Covenant and not Sangheili as he took a step back and called out. "Friendly!?: He was well aware of what the Sangheili sounded like. They were almost exactly human but still had a gruff voice as he waited for a response.
