No, demons are strong enough to operate without a partner. You only need a partner if you are a weapon or a Meister.

My Weapon character Dakshesh needs a partner, I'm interested on taking you up on your offer! Although Dakshesh is probably just about the exact opposite of this meister, I think there's a sort of stronger bond between two people like this.

I like your character! He seems very interesting and I can see the two of them getting along. The only problem I have is his style of weapon. I'm somewhat familiar with the pata, and I think it would kind of clash with Samuel's style. Thank you, though! (I hope I didn't sound too nit-picky.)
