Jay really did not care. The present could be as shoddy as it wanted for all she cared.

She had attended DETH classes and events before. The small professor spoke through Levi, explaining the significance of today's activity upon the arrival of her and her peers. This wouldn't be the first time she'd worked with some of these ingredients. More recently with the arrival of the falling snow, the tatzel had visited West's dorm with the intent to make spookies much like the ones she was about to try now. She'd had the urge to bake with him, and the lingering scent of gingerbread was just further incentive to try out Professor QB's event today. Washing her hands at instructed, Levi wiped her hands on the nearest available clean cloth, throwing it onto her shoulder as she went to take a look at her station and supplies.
Taking up what was needed, the white-eared ghoul began to hastily blend things together. For the most part, it seemed to smell fine but the texture was definitely questionable. Somewhere between the Joy and molasses, the mix became way more runny than any spookie batter ought to be.

Hmm... Staring at the overly liquified batter in her bowl, Levi's tail swayed side to side, coiling and uncoiling as she weighed her options. She held a cookie cutter in one hand at the ready, but it was obvious this wasn't going to work out in its current state.
An invisible lightbulb flickered on when she looked over the cutter in her hand. Placing the pudgy metallic human shape over a baking tray, Levi picked up the bowl, pausing to snatch up a spatula. Carefully feeding small doses over the top of the cutter, she treated the mix like that of a custard filling. Once it was filled, she waited, gathering more cutters and following suit in hopes that perhaps the mix would settle and solidify more if left to sit. With a bit of luck, this seemed to do the trick. It was just enough for her to let them settle after being placed in a cold fridge to keep the shape of the cutters.
Now to get them into an oven. It was a toss up as to just how long these would take given their consistency. Trying to compensate for their less sturdy texture, the tatzel ghoul waited a bit over the time that was called for.
The result, as she took them back out, seemed alright. Perhaps they didn't need as much time afterall, but it was better to overcook than undercook. At least they were certainly solid.

The gumdrops made perfect buttons and the icing could be used strategically to cover up any unwanted blemishes. Looking over the spookie, or rather human cookie, Levi felt something was missing. Well, there were buttons but where were the clothes? Taking the sweet green paste, she outlines some pants. That'll do.
Levi worked the sides first, then the corners, taping them down perhaps a little too well. That paper wasn't shifting around if an explosion happened right now. In the end, taping up the last of the folded points on the side of the box down, Levi held up the green and red cube in admiration. Looked good from her viewpoint.
"Last batch? You don't have a lot of people to gift them to?" she asked, tilting her head to the side and almost looking sad about that. Tomoko had to give everybody spookies!
Which meant that maybe by the end of it all, the little kitsune would figure out this whole 'wrapping' business, as she was already off to an awful start with it.
Jack gave no shits about wrapping, decidedly dancing around his gift and just putting it together as well as he could. As long as it looked all right and whoever was going to receive it was happy with the snack, he was happier with that.
Turning down to Kitsune, he nodded in agreement, looking to Uller.
"It's not gonna kill you to make another one, I'm sure." He stated, finishing his monstrosity.
Well, wrapping clearly wasn't Uller's thing. "I ... do not have anyone to give them to aside from you here." His would-be ghoulfriend was still MIA and he hadn't heard from her. He highly doubted she would be back in time for the cookies be any good. Honestly the snow boil didn't make friends that often. Even when he had friends he didn't see them too much. It was just odd. Letting his brows knit, he looked at the badly wrapped present and sighed.
Whatever. It was going to just go to the two anyway.
"You two can split these if you want. I don't have anyone else to give them too."
His mood had shifted slightly as he handed them the cookies. "You did better than me, Tomoko, so it is alright."
That being said, Uller started to make his way out.
"Well if you make more and give them to strangers, then they can be your friends!" Tomoko suggested, giving the wrapping another shot, just to be safe. Unfortunately, that just ended up looking like horrendously crinkled paper.
Again.
She'd just... put that box aside and hope Frost-kun didn't mind her bad wrapping skills....
Grabbing some of the excess of the batch as he attempted to create just enough to create another cookie, he flung it at the deer, ears flicking lightly.
"Surprise someone then! I'm sure you've met someone who could use a cookie flung at their head." He offered, amusedly, hoping to woo the deer back in to helping them finish this off.

The tatzelworm was proud enough of this wrapping and cookie-making job that she'd already had someone in mind to give one to. This was the final act of the human celebration and in order to complete the circuit of the ritual, she needed to address the gift. The wrath demon would be receiving a human cookie with pants; it was done.

Rolling up them invisible sleeves once again, Levi placed her completed box aside at her station and went one for another. Perhaps this mix would turn out less runny.
It had, but it wasn't much of an improvement for spookie cookie batter. At least, in comparison to the ones she made with West. Was it just a difference of materials? Who knew.

The batter was at least substantial enough this time to be rolled instead of treated like a custard. Once Levi established that the layer of dough was thin/thick enough, she took two cutters and went at it one after the other. This time around had certainly been a lot quicker; no refrigerating or waiting for the mix to settle.
Everything was going swimmingly. Levi had placed her newly cut baked humans into the oven and was just in need now to wait for the contents to complete their baking cycle for the fifteen minutes as designated. Of course, the tatzel ghoul would never have expected, at a time like this, to be challenged by a gnome. No, he wasn't interested in a baking-related challenge. This gnome had begun looking her over from head to toe before it announced it wanted to face her in a dance off.
As if Levi would reject the bell-bottomed gnome's challenge.
Yew got'it, critter! There was shuffling and running men involved. When the gnome was tired and could jive no more, Levi claimed victory with a hardy patting on the gnome's back before returning to her station where a light smoke was venting from the oven.
