Blade was silent as they entered. He looked at Xenon with icy white eyes with indifference. He was nervous because the attacks outside could be brought inside. The sword on his shoulder was ready to be used. He honestly didn't care who attacked the kingdom as long as the situation would be resolved. He sighed and looked at the door with a wary look. But again, only Diamond could really see what his motions meant.

Ellie sat down with the aid of Xenon. “I’m ok, I’m ok..” Her body hurt, but she was fine. “I don’t know who’s truly doing this, but I know nine and Ten are not on the same side. They just destroyed my living quarters in an all out brawl. But I don’t know where nine went.” Ellie looked up as she heard a familiar voice from long ago. What dreadful timing for her to show up. “Ten’a already in the building Xenon, she’s killed most of the staff, and one admin. “

⎾ Xenon bit his tongue. Stopping himself from speak out of his element. He turned back to the window, looking out to see the destruction getting much worse. He could feel Ten's energy signal out there and he could also feel his son out there. Mumbling under his breath, a bit of worry came over him. Not as a leader, but as a father. Regaining his composure, he turned back to Ellie. I can't let this go one much longer than it needs to be. A Force member came in running through the door and began to automatically relay a message to the CEO. "Lord Xenon, through the orders of commander Isuma Mirai, we have successfully transferred all the remaining citizens to a safe location. We are ready to launch a counterattack!" Xenon dimmed his eyes as the message had reached his conscious. His son gave this order,? such an impressive feat. Has this message been relayed to Isuma? "It is being taken care of as we speak, reinforcements are reaching to Isuma now." Xenon slightly breathed with a bit of relief. Understood, then it is almost time for the CEO to end this invasion now. You come with me. Xenon gave the order as he walked through his office passing Ellie, Diamond and Blade. Stopping and looking back to the two warriors. Blade and Diamond, you both stay here with Ellie and protect her and the HQ with all your might. It's time this has come to a close. Xenon turned back to the door and began to walk off with the Force member to shortly follow suit. ⏌

Nora used her rigged sword stolen by Ten to cut through the Zaibatsu. One by one she killed the Doma military. Nora cut away ones fighting arm, then slashed it across another ones chest. Nora kept her body relaxed, Tension crossed her jaw. nora took a step back and controlled her breathing and with a jumped she brought her sword across ones chest and never stopped the blade. a doma solider snarled and lunged at her but she again stopped his blade and pushed her shoulder into his chest, pushing him back. the doma men fell to the ground and their weapons fell from their hands.
Nora kept running up the steps and when she got inside everyone was dead. everyone but the energies in Xenons office. And when she entered ellie was injured. Rushing to her side nora places her healing hands on her dear friend. "i tried to warn everyone" she sighed with frustration
Diamond wasn't going to take this, who was she to listen to a leader who let his land go into oblivion? She disappeared with blade.
After reaching the HQ, he had to find his mother out of all this destruction. Going from room to room with no signs of her, he eventually made it to the CEO's office.That was the only place he could think of where she could actually be. Seeing the bodies trailing to the office only made Derek more worried and anxious to find out the whereabouts of his mother.
He kicked the door wide open, looked straight inside in the dimmed lighting. Mother! He looked down to the couch and saw his mother there. Without thought, went in to check to see if his mother was not dead. Mom are you alright?! What happened here!?

Ellie looked up from Nora's healing hands as her eyes met with her son. She was so full of relief that her son was alive but without any hesitation she ran to her son embracement hug. " Derek I'm so glad you're alright. I thought they you killed You too." She didn't want to have to tell him the truth about what was truly going on, but she knew she needed to, he deserved to know what happened to his land, the land he had been training for so long.
"The Doma kingdom has invaded our land. Ten is leading them. I don't know who else is left alive. I would go fight-- as soon as Nora here finishes healing me."
Derek embraced his mother as she told him what had happened. Doma is back? But shouldn't they be extremely silent, they have been for years. Why now to spring an assault? No I went on a separate mission that away but I came as soon as possible. Derek released his mother when she stated she was going out to fight. Are you insane? Just rest here, I'll handle it. Just make sure you and Nora are safe. Derek stated as he went by the window watching the destruction continuing to go. He noticed a woman standing in front of Xenon. She must the CEO of Doma. For some reason, Derek felt like he knew her before but could not put a finger on it. He did not have time to waste though. He turned around and ran out. Stay here! I'll be back I promise! Derek had to find out himself what is going on. Even if he had to undergo serious injuries.

⎾ It's been two years since recovery of the Zaibatsu. Xenon was struck down two years ago and was put into a coma by the so called Doma Queen. Being struck down shocked the entire Zaibatsu as a whole. He fell into a coma for a whole year straight. When he finally woke up, he still had consciousness over what had happened. He felt pain, hatred, disdained. He had let down the Zaibatsu in that split second. When he had awoken, Xenon had to scratch and claw his way back up to prove everyone and mostly to himself that he was worth being the Zaibatsu's CEO. He had always believed that he was handpicked by Eighth Diviner when he was young and Sixth Ace when he grew older for a reason. They both saw something in him that Xenon could not notice himself. For that very belief, Xenon pushed himself even further in his training, in his social status and in his entire attitude. Xenon had became more serious and his very presence became darker, though remaining the caring and thoughtful guy he always was. Xenon was very cautious nowadays. He allowed nothing to slip past him and even with the slightest change that happened at the most random time, Xenon had to know exactly what it was. Even though his fall was bad, some good came out of it.
The very next year, Xenon regained his position from his wife who took the position temporarily and began his work as if nothing had happened. There are still those who believe he should step down, but Xenon refuse to let go on what he knew was rightfully his.
Xenon sat at his desk going through several documents with an admin by his door. Xenon was scanning for a particular document that had somehow gone missing. His eyes dimmed after several minutes passing of constant searching. He had previously heard word of two of his men returning home. Looking up to his admin, he gave out an order. Find Kouen and James. Bring them to me immediately. With silence, the admin vanished in thin air as Xenon waited for Kouen and James to come by. ⏌
As the Admin rushed past Ellie, she walked into the open door of Xenon's office. Leaning against the door frame she knocked on the wooden molding decorating his entrance. "May I enter the presence of the great Xenon?" Ellie slightly laughed at her own sense of humor. Ellie and Loki had been close ever since Ellie had joined the Zaibatsu. Xenon was like a brother to her, there was no need for formality.
As Ellie walked in, she sat down in one of the chairs across from Xenon himself. "Feeling better?" It had been a while since he came out of coma, but she knew he was more than likely still recovering mentally and emotionally.
"Listen---" Ellie leaned forward and took in a sigh as she looked at Xenon. "You know I love you. And I have been eternally grateful for the home you have created for my son." Adjusting in her seat, Ellie had a hard time finding the words, knowing it would bother Xenon. "I need to tell Derek---" Ellie looked at Xenon, waiting for a response, not only in his voice, but in the expressions upon his face. "Derek deserves to know. And after the resent events with Ten, if he finds out from someone else other than me, I don't think he'd forgive me." Ellie shook her head. "I can't keep hiding these abilities, they are beyond my control, and suppressing them is becoming difficult. Derek has seen what little I can do--"
Ellie's eyes glanced away from Xenon, than to a wall with images of past leaders. "I've followed your law all of Derek's life. I'm going to tell him." It almost seemed Ellie wasn't asking for permission, but was stating a fact. She was going to tell her son who his father was. Xenon could banish her from the kingdom, but apart of her felt like she was transforming into her late husband. Her abilities were taking over her body, and she began to feel that slight darkness that clouded Eight's mind. Derek had to understand why his mother had changed tremendously during his time away.

⎾ As Xenon was waiting for the two boys to come to his office, he was greeted by good friend. Ellie Diviner, one of the very few who still believed in Xenon besides his family and several other members from the city. Hello Ellie. I'm feeling a bit better everyday I'm alive. He watched hermit down and her body posture made her look very wary about something. Listening to Ellie stating she needs to tell her son, Xenon kept a straight face. Xenon knew very well that he made the very law to keep Derek's life and past a strict secret that can not by any circumstances told to him. He let out a sigh being at ease in his own seat. Yes I am aware that Derek needs to be told. I was always in belief that by not telling his past, it would keep the Zaibatsu and your family at peace and secure from any evil that may want to take your lives like in the past, how everyone wanted to take Lord Eight's life. I was so sure that by removing his past away, everyone's safety would be secure to the fullest extent. Even though I was right and it lasted for about 16 years, you could say I slowly became one of Derek's silent villain and enemy. He leaned back as he took a break before continuing. In fact, I am sure that he even entered the academy to get information from me himself. I was warned not to do this, but I was too stubborn to listen. Xenon closed his eyes for a bit. Derek has left the Zaibatsu along with two other men while I was out in a coma without any authorized approval or insight. Therefore going rogue. But 2 of the 3 men have returned...and Derek is not one of them. I wouldn't be surprised if Derek left to go straight to Doma and find out about his past himself. He slowly reopened his eyes to look back to Ellie. If my hypothesis is true, then he will definitely return home, but when I do not know...and if he doesn't return soon. He would be classified as a classified rogue from the Zaibatsu and would be hunted down and be forced back home. That was also a law that was made by Xenon. He could not take chances during the years of peace that if someone had left without any authority insight, it could lead to great danger. Even though Derek is the son of Xenon's former master, he could not go against what he had set in stone. When Derek does return, we will tell him everything. You and me. We will no longer hide any secrets. Whatever Derek does from there...it is all on him. ⏌
“While I do agree this secret of mine and his has indeed protected our kingdom for as long as it has, It sure my life hard on him though. Having to tell people his dad died in a war, but his mother didn’t know his name. A love child, even though he surely was not, and facing the fact his mother was a whore, who didn’t know his own father’s name.” Oh the Lies Ellie would have to make up whenever she was on the spot. Her stories never added up about his dad and she herself could never remember her lies. Mostly Derek wasn’t a love child, even though he was conceived before marriage, but the comments that would be made to him, and the tears he would come home with as a child because of children and their harsh truth of his loose mother. Ellie had been innocent, almost as innocent as her blacksmith when Eight died, and the ridicule hurt her as first as well, but as she became older, it no longer phased her. Derek was never going to grow up knowing what a normal relationship looked like because of their lies. Ellie was hurt knowing this, but he may never have had a normal life with Eight as his dad either.
Ellie reached for Xenon’s hand, enclosing her fingers around it, she gave him a tight grip. “You did what you thought was right at the time.” As he spoke of her son and others leaving with no approval, she had forgotten that two of them did get approval from one of their instructors, Nora. It didn’t matter, they would have left anyways. But Ellie kept her silence in fear of Nora’s termination from the kingdom. But as Xenon spoke of Derek not returning, Ellie’s heart stopped. What if he was dead? Even worse, going to the Doma where Ten was, she could tear him to pieces. “Is there anyway we can know if he’s at the Doma? I fear for his life—“
Trying to relax and drift her mind from her son, whom she knew was capable of handling himself, she sighed in a stressful manner. “Someone needs to help me— I cannot keep these abilities.” Ellie placed her head in her hand, massaging her throbbing eyes. “If I turn into Eight, I need you to kill me—“

⎾ Xenon felt the warmth of her hand embrace his when stating what he was doing was good as he had thought at the time. More moments have passed as Ellie showed her concern for her son when asking if he is ok. Derek is fine, for a boy at his age to be capable of most of the Divine Force members, there is no mistake that he is fine. Xenon rubbed his head with his hand through his hair. This is such a drag. Xenon listened carefully as Ellie had requested to kill her if she turned up like his former master. He dimmed his eyes, fully aware of Ellie's condition and what may come about it. Ellie, believe me when I say this. You will be fine. What is happening may really be more of a powerful blessing and a sinister corruption. From what I believe, the stress is only making you paranoid. Though this paranoia may actually strengthen your ability... Xenon had begun to think very deeply about her condition. Eight was never a bad person as society has made him to be. You know that very well as much as I have. I will help you cope with these abilities but I can only do so much. These powers have to get fully acclimated to you and your body on its own. ⏌
Xenon was right. Eight was a wonderful man, at least, in her eyes he was. Ellie had the privilege of viewing Eight in ways no one else got too. She saw him on a more personal level in life, as a father, as a husband, as a protector. He wanted what was best for his son long before he knew he was going to die in battle.
Removing her hand from Xenon's grip, Ellie took a sigh and nodded. "You're right, I'm just paranoid." Standing up she gave Xenon one last look before leaving. "When Derek shows up, call me. I'll be there." She didn't want to tell Derek, she wanted Xenon to tell him, but she knew it was her job as a mother.

James entered the CEO's office with his hands in his pockets and looking around. "Man, this place looks the same as when I was here last. Looks likes not everything has changed. I wonder if his smokin' hot wife is still around." he said scratching his head then sat down in the waiting chair. He smelled the scent of a woman that was here previously. Her scent was familiar, though James could not put his finger on it he knew this scent. He dismissed the though it couldn't be important.He then spun around in the chair getting dizzier by the minute, still waiting for Kouen.
"I've evolved from what I once was. Like the Phoenix rising from the ashes of defeat and reclaiming its place in the never-ending sky; I will never fall. Not until the vengeance I've longed for has been sated. "
As Kouen stepped through the dark doors that led to the Zaibatsu CEO's office; a mixed feeling had bubbled within him. Truly unsure of what Xenon's reaction would be to their return, there could only be several possible outcomes. They could either go off without punishment and be simply delivered back to their training or possibly promoted depending on the circumstances and their new-found strength. Punishment could range from very light to a downright torturous death sentence. But Kouen hadn't worried for himself in the slightest; but moreso James and what could possibly befall him. If anyone was to blame for their course of actions and outright blunt response in abandoning their regiment in order to gain more power to protect the organization--it was the Phoenix. He downright loathed the feeling of helplessness and the inability to truly make a difference in the catastrophic invasion delivered to them by the Doma. He had sworn as a soldier to protect the people and yet failed to even save a single life in the end. He spent days within his own psyche in a way; battling to keep back the emotions and outright trauma of history repeating itself as it once had to him a decade or so before. The Fates themselves must have been threading his string with barged wire; testing to see just how much he and his comrades could be pushed to the limit, the breaking point, before they shattered. Overcome with a desire to achieve proper vengeance as well as to avenge his fallen comrades and citizens; he set out to overcome his limitations and unlock the full extent of his abilities. If not for himself; but for the entire Zaibatsu and more importantly.../Lacie/. He had feared what her reaction would be two years prior if he were to confess directly to her face when he had proved himself to be utterly useless in the defense against the enemy. Leaving the note was far easier then having to look her in the eye; possibly seeing the disappointment within them at his own lack of ability at the time. The motivation was key to his actions. He had spent the last two years training extensively; facing and narrowly escaping death many times over the course of their journey. Conquering dungeons, obtaining a power unlike any had ever seen; never giving up despite overwhelming odds and growing in maturity along with ability with his brother; James. They both had their own ambition and goals with no intention of dying before they saw it fulfilled. But all Leonard could feel was steely calm as he slowly approached Xenon's desk. James had simply flipped right into the room and casually sat right in the waiting chair. Though another thought had suddenly plagued his mind which had downright caused him to instantly dread the next possible course of actions. Lacie. The only daughter of the current Zaibatsu CEO. Had he even known about the little 'incident' that occurred on the rooftops? If so; this may have reached new heights of danger for the former Zaibatsu Soldier. There was no wrath on Earth that could even compare to the protective instinct and rush of a parent. Finally reaching the front of Lord Xenon's desk at which he sat, Kouen bowed politely and respectfully. Acknowledging the authority and position that Xenon possessed; he spoke formally but still clearly. He was not a coward and would not attempt to butter up to the man in order to gain a more favorable standing. Such deplorable actions were the mark of a true coward and he would rather die then to resort to such tactics.
" Lord Xenon; Ruler of the Zaibatsu and CEO of the organization. As I am sure you've noticed, we have returned from our 'adventure' in the other parts of the world. If I could assume, you called us to your office in order to discuss our current standing--punishment notwithstanding? "
Despite what Lacie had stated earlier with her attempting to cover-up their true actions via her position; Kouen had decided that the truth must be told. /All/ of it. He knew that James wouldn't have resorted to lying either simply to muster a pathetic attempt of covering their tracks. They needed to face this cleanly and honestly as any true soldier would.
" James's; do be careful. While I doubt we could dig a deeper hole for ourselves then what we currently have; I would not like to take chances. "
" The Zaibatsu and the family I've made within are all I have left. They have shared my joys and my sorrows. I will not allow any harm to befall them. If you try to lay but a finger on their being, I won't hesitate to send you to the Void itself. " "
