Eve looked like she was near tears with the rejection. "But if you don't come then Julian will be grumpy for the rest of the day. He really is trying to make you happy with him." The girl said with her doe eyes. "Give him a shot." Eve added with a gentle smile. "Besides if you marry him then we'll become sisters." Rosario smiled at the girl and passed her the rose he held. "So I know a good cook here and her brother said that as look as he got his girl to come then they would make some really nice large meal that I wanted to invite you to." The man commented to the girl with a smile.

"Is this cook, Eve?" Lilian asked smiling as she smelt the rose. She took it and slipped it in to her hair. "Well then I guess I should make some dessert or a fruit basket to take over. It would be rude to not bring anything." She said to Rosario.

Alice turns around at Eve, she wasn't trying to get angry with the girl but it was obvious that she is getting frustrated. "Eve, I'm busy. Tell your brother that I said this and if he has a problem with this, then tell him to see me himself, don't have him send his little sister to do his dirty work." She says and heads back to her food and started to get her a d her father's meal ready.

Eve frowned and nodded at Alice's words. "Then I'll go get him now." She said as she skipped off. It was going to take at least half an hour to get him to come out of his dark hole. It was plenty of time to almost finish a dress before the man showed back up. Rosario smiled and nodded. "She's a pretty good cook and she likes cooking for people. I'm sure she'll be happy if you'd make something too." Rosario was happy that she wanted to come and join them. "Eve or Julian will come and get me when they are done with dinner. I'll come and get you when that time comes. For now I'm going to keep working on the hut." Rosario told the woman.

Alice finished a new dress and she yawns. She was very tired and it was very dark outside. She blows out her candle and went to bed, she closes her eyes and tries to sleep.

Lilian smiled and gave Rosario a kiss on the cheek. "Then you get to it. I will go gather in the forest. I'll be by the river if need to find me." She said walking out of the village. She smiled looking around the forest.

There was a taping Alice's window as Julian stood outside and waited. He came to get the woman. He was stubborn, but that was fine with him. He was going to try to get her to come even if it was for a little while. He was going to make her his. Rosario smiled at the woman. "I hope someone gets me soon so maybe I can get a kiss here." The man told her as he tapped his lips. He went into the hut and started work on finishing the master bedroom. They wouldn't have children just yet so it could be held off for a bit longer.

Alice opens her eyes and looks over at her window, seeing Julian. She sighs heavily and goes over to the window. "What? It's late an I'm tried." She says in a grumpy mood. In the corner of the room, Layla's dress was already made, knowing that Layla would want to wear something customary and yet unique. Alice assumed that Layla stayed the night since she didn't say to her because she was in a foul mood.

Julian smiled. It wasn't a gruff smirk like it had been every other moment of his life. "Some with me." He told the woman. He wasn't giving her reason why she should, but the air around him seemed lighter for some person. Like he had something going on that he only knew about.

Alice looks at him confusingly. "Some of what?" She asks, as of she was replusived by it. "Look, I've had a long night. I have a guest here, and if you don't leave, I'll hurt you." She says, being serious.

Some about Julian made him look nervous. "I mean come with me." He responded. For someone who was all high and mighty he looked nervous. "There is something I want to show you." He told her holding out his hand. If she went through the window he was going to help her down.

"That's fine." The man answered as he helped her out of the window. He only held her hand once was done and lead her towards the forest. Being a hunter he knew it well. He picked up a lantern at the tree light and turned it on before continuing. It was ten minutes of walking with no talking before the man stopped and dimmed his lantern. He again pressed forward for another minute before they made their way into a marsh. Even though it was dark there were a thousand fireflies lighting the space as they danced back and forth. "I though this may help inspire you." He told her as he found a log for them to sit down on.

"Whoa," Alice says as she observes the fireflies flying around. She goes over and sits by him. "Thanks, but why are you just a jerk? Why couldn't you be like this when we first met?"

"I don't see it the same way you to." The man answered her. "I told you that I found you interesting and that I would take care of you and your father." The man responded. "I also kissed you because I thought you were beautiful." He added. "There is something that draws me to you. Even I'm not sure what it is." He added. It sounded more like Julian wasn't even sure of his own emotions.
