He took his menu with one hand and pointed lazily at Lock with the other, or, more specifically, his hair. "There's something different about you. Your hair's... brighter." He struggled to find the right word to describe it.

Ethan offered, having felt bad for practically forcing Lock to keep the hairstyle he seemed to dislike. "I haven't eaten them much for a while, so it shouldn't be too hard." He decided not to say that it was because he was too depressed from the break-up.
