Harold nodded at Shira's request. "You got it," replied Eric, drawing the chain scythe back in and turning Dara into a blade. "What I want is for you to die," replied Harold to Sanctum's comment. He sucked in another breath and let it out, this time sending a ball of blue flame the size of a miniature car towards Sanctum. Eric jumped towards Sanctum, raising his blade for a slash. Until the last moment it looked as if Eric's jump would be too low and the ball of flame would go too high, but as they crossed paths Eric planted one foot of the ball of flame, using it to propel him higher while the flame went lower. The flame streaked under Sanctum, being faster than Eric and detonated behind him sending a shockwave in an attempt to throw Sanctum off balance while Eric aimed a hard slash straight towards him.
As Harold watched Eric jump off the flame, he glanced back at Atticus and Shira. Come on Atticus, I know you're still in there... he thought desperately before looking back towards Sanctum and Eric, ready to launch a follow-up attack if Eric's somehow didn't work.
Michi then snaps her fingers creating a few glass mirrors surrounding her as their appearance turn clear and thin disappearing inside the kitsune's body still gripping onto as she looks back at the others watching closely . Damn it... now what can I do to help out..? "I'm a sitting duck just standing here doing nothing...! I need strength but I need Gin..." she thought in her mind closing her eyes brief as a shy tear falls down her cheek dusting that away quickly upon thinking of a plan or maybe a strategy... but what?

Before he could respond to Shira's questioning of Atticus, Sanctum would be interrupted by the duo of Eric and Harold. Seeing Harold unleash a more powerful version of the blue flame he had used earlier, Sanctum would stand in place, not even bothering to move or dodge the flames. At the same moment, Eric would appear before him and use the fireball as a leverage for him to jump off of in order to get higher in the sky. As he was focused on Eric, Sanctum paid little attention to the flames that went under him and then detonated behind him. Once it exploded, Sanctum would move forwards slightly, almost as if he was thrown off balance. Taking advantage of the movement, Eric would then deliver a hard slash towards Sanctum's chest. As Eric's blade made contact with his chest, Sanctum would show no signs of pain, albeit having a deep and bloody scar across his chest. "Was that all?" he asked as he took advantage of the fact that Eric was right in front of him and launch multiple sphere of energy at him. Sanctum would then step backwards, and vanished, appearing behind Harold. "You are not worth my full effort" Sanctum said as he then unleashed a single beam of light right at Harold's back.
As Sanctum fought the others, Atticus would still be trying to break through Shira's barrier. Hearing Shira's words, Atticus would stop for a few seconds, but would once again start back attacking the barrier. As Shira mentioned Riku and the fact that he was Atticus' son, Atticus' eyes would show a small glimmer of light in them, showing that he had begun responding to her words. Suddenly, he would go back to attacking the barrier, once he did, the barrier would break. With the barrier broken, Atticus would start slowly making his way towards Shira, his eyes once again lifeless and dull.
While all of this happened, Despair, who had been standing by watching as everything played, would concentrate of Atticus and sigh, "Shinigami girl, he is too far gone, the only thing to do now is to end his life. Can you truly do that?" he asked.
Shira ignored Sanctum then, still aiming the cannon at Atticus, it started to glow then when he got closer "Riku always says how he wants to be like you... even though he has not even met you, he thinks you are amazing basically. He says we wants to grow stronger to protect me like he said you did." she told him. She obviously was waiting till the last second to shoot him. She heard the fight and frowned for a moment "I can't let you kill me, I made a promise to him saying I would always come back... Please don't make me do this, we need you. I want all of us to go back to our time together." she said to Atticus as the final attempt, she needed to help the others.
Eric grinned as his hit cut deep, only to have his grin turn to shock as Sanctum teleported away, leaving a bunch of energy spheres heading right towards him. Eric had time to change his sword to a blocking position, otherwise he would have been too wounded to fight on. As it was the spheres plowed into him, exploding as they blew him out of the sky and back to the ground. He lay on his back, wincing from the multiple wounds and burns all over him.
Harold spun around as he heard Sanctum mock him. The energy beam screeched towards him, pushing him backwards as the force slammed into his chest. He fell, rolled and stood again in one smooth motion, his chest smoking where the energy beam had hit. "I don't have enough power to stand against this guy like I am..." he muttered. "Well...at least we're making progress," said Eric sarcastically, nodding towards Sanctum's wound as he got to his feet.
Harold looked over at Shira. "Shira, I need you to break off the madness barrier you put in my mind," he said, already being familiar with her ability in their future. "It's helping me to stay sane, but I can't use my full power with it blocking the madness!" He grit his teeth, knowing that if Shira lowered the barrier in his mind he may very well lose control, but he would become a lot stronger than he was in his current state.

Looking over towards Shira and then over at Michi, Sanctum would give Atticus a different command, "Atticus, forget about her. Deal with the other female first." Sanctum then heard what Eric and Harold had to say, "Making progress?" he asked. "I don't think you truly understand just who I am do you?" looking down at the scar on his chest, Sanctum would heal instantly, leaving no trace of blood or a single indication that he had been injured. "Oh, so you are indeed holding back. excellent, I look forwards to seeing your true power." Sanctum said as he seemed to be enjoying himself.
As Atticus came closer to Shira, he would stop right in front of her cannons, just as she started to charge them. Looking into her eyes, Atticus would remain still, that is until he heard Sanctum's voice, commanding him to kill Shira. Following his orders, Atticus would run past Shira with amazing speed, briefly looking at her before he had completely passed her. Only seconds later he would end up right in front of Michi, as her mind wondered. Drawing back his blade, Atticus would attempt to pierce her through her chest.
Michi's mind was running off into a deep thought having no options left but overhearing Sanctum commanding Atticus to go after the other female, was it Dara? No, she's in her weapon form.. Without a warning, feeling a dark and dangerous present besides her drawing one dot-like pupil to the person seeing Atticus about to strike her causing herself to not response, it was too much for her to handle. A shadow snaked from under Michi's feet ascending between them drawing it's own sword ready to block his strike looking dead into his eyes. 'Atticus..! Snap out of it, man! What about your son, Riku...? What about Shira..? What about your friends? We all need you back, man! Wake the hell up! Stop yourself...!' extending out her hand as the shadow changes into a small orb ready to create a shield but... will it be enough? Just staring at him for a moment sighing deeply. "Are you gonna kill your closest friend..? The one who never doubted you all these years.. Come back to us, Atticus." she told him in a bland and emotionless manner waiting for an answer or something creating a replica like sword.

Shira glanced at Harold "Be careful..." she said as she snapped her fingers on her free hand and broke what hold she had on him "We can't deal with two of our comerades completely losing it..." she trailed off as she saw Atticus take off towards Michi. "Damn... Michi move!" she snapped loudly towards her. When she saw that Michi defended herself, she quickly aimed at Atticus once more, listening to what Michi said to him in a attempt to snap him out of it, she was ready to hit him if he even touched her.
"I will fight for what I believe in no matter the cost."

As Michi tried to reason with Atticus, one would hear the deep and psychotic laugh of Sanctum, echoing out through the world. "It is too late, my dear friend. Atticus will no longer react to your words, nor will he ever find the will to continue on. I have broken him and there is nothing you could say or do to save him now." he said as he looked over towards Atticus, "Finish her off." Sanctum commanded as Atticus would lift his sword and strike the shield that Michi had placed in front of her. After the first two or three strikes, the shield would slowly, but surely began to fade and crack.
"You see..." Sanctum pointed out, "He is mine to control, he is my slave, my puppet. To him, my words are all that counts. Atticus is as good as dead now." he finished as he started to laugh, just then he would watch as Shira unleashed Harold's true power, "So is it time to end this then?" he asked as he then focused on Harold and Eric. At the same time, Atticus would finally break through Michi's barrier. He would then go in and try to decapitate her.
Her expression went to dull mixes with complete shock that it didn't work at all. Atticus is far gone.. Michi watches him destroy that shield like paper still holding her weapon thinking quickly for a idea or something! Her tails quickly form in-front of her as two blocks that final blow holding onto the blade for dear life. '....s**t.. not good.. I'm good as dead if I stay here..' talking to herself as that same shadow snakes over behind Atticus making some small mirror like drones transforming into a ray gun. "...I know your in there... I know it! Where are you, Atticus..? Please say something, anything!" quickly flipping over him and then grabs the glass weapon with a strong grip having a few tears rolled down her cheeks.

Shira watched before walking next to Michi "You don't have to be the one to do this..." she told her before looking at her partner, staring at him for a moment before she walked in front of her, acting like a shield "Stay close to me no matter what... I don't want anymore of my comrades to be hurt because of this." she said as she observed Atticus. He is still there, I saw it... she thought.
"I will fight for what I believe in no matter the cost."

Atticus watched as Michi flipped over him and grabbed the glass weapon that she had just formed, as she did this he would notice the tears rolling down her cheeks. Quickly turning around, Atticus would raise his sword and attempt to slash her again, only to stop inches before striking her, as Shira would stand in between them. Atticus remained still after that, not moving an inch, almost as if he wanted Shira to kill him.
Shira continued staring up at Atticus "You are still there... otherwise you would have struck her down along with me now..." She said to him with a frown before aiming a canon at his chest "This is the last change I will give you before I pull this trigger. If you are listening to me and if the Atticus we know is still within existence, which I know he is, then I will say this: You can't give up like this so simply. You can't just give up, not when there are still people out there who want to fight for you." She told him. "You were beaten ruthlessly, you basically experienced hell in the days we have been here. For that, I am sorry that we couldn't have come here sooner. One of the last things I would want is for you to be in pain like that." Shira smiled slightly then "We are here now though, we all came here to save you even if that means we are stuck in the future forever. You have a chance to escape what hell you are in right now and we can defeat Sanctum and live on." The cannon glowed then as it was charging up "If you are still as stubborn as you always have been, if you want to continue living like you promised Divine, and if you want to experience more times like at the park or at Michi's house, then move out of the way when I attack you, and snap out of whatever hold that a*****e has on you so we can defeat him and move on with life." She told him, sighing once she finished. She continued staring at him as the cannon reached full power and she fired it then.
"I shall choose neither. For I have lost nothing to avenge, and nothing is left for me to protect. I am a shell of a man that walks in solitude, I protect nothing, nor do I care enough to avenge what is gone from this world. The path I choose, is Isolation."
All of sudden a portal opens up next to Michi, as purple/black butterflies would scattered into the realm of reality. Coming out of the portal, was someone they knew. Yet at the same time it was a different person, his soul was unsenseable. He would step down from the portal, as cold air filled the area. The portal would vanish and so as the butterflies. "Michi..., your tears aren't not meant for this doll...hold them until all of us are home." The voice represented Gin's so much but it wasn't his at all, it was a mixture of voices that was very intense. "Atticus may not come back, all depends on whats left of his humanity." It would go over to Atticus, Michi and Shira. It would grab on to Michi by the shoulder. "I am not your partner, but as promise I will be your weapon. I am Drak Vlein Ja Gats."
FLASH BLACK OF WHAT HAPPENED
Laying on the grave stone, Gin felt the cold dead floor of the realm. He would grin as he closed his eyes. So...this is how it ends huh.....might be better then I thought Ayamami... Feeling a sudden chill up his spine, he would open his eyes to see the cloaked figure from before appear in-front of him. Being "You disappoint me Drak Vlein Ja Gats, you involved yourself in this affair that you should have not." The being, flew over to him and stood before him. "Your duty was to observe history, not change it." Gin smiled like a fool as the being pity him. "Who knows...I am a fool who knows no bound. But I do not regret it...as long as I know I died saving others from suffering..." The Being stood there in silence before replying. "Even if you brought that man back, he will not be the same. Are you sure you did what was right?" Laughing faintly as he spat out blood. "...That will depend on god's will..." The Being laughed like a maniac after hearing the word God. "There is no god you so speak of...only Truth. Your friend at the very moment is torturing those you so call friends. Sanctum may have already realize what happened. Do you seek the power to fight youngDrak Vlein Ja Gats?" Hearing those words Gin finched and stared at he Being. "Theres something I can do....!?" The Being flew and knelt beside Gin. "There is one way, but as you may know or not...you will lose yourself...and become he who will hold the truth. You may not know of if but you have Two soulswithin you. Do you wish for this power...still...?" Gin would look down at the blood he spat and his condition. "Yes..." The Being stood back up and performed the ritual. Arcane circles of all kinds, as well as the void over lapped each other around Gin. As the ritual was completed Gin's eyes changed colors, he had new markings on his forehead as well. "You are now blessed with Noah's final gift...use it well..." The Being would vanish in thin air. With the Being gone, Drak would stare around. Gin and him went into a mental conversation, before Gin's soul faded quietly he made the request. "Protect Michi..." With the terms agreed. Drak opened the Truth back to where Michi was currently.

While spoke to him, Atticus would remain still and listened to what she had to say. As he did, his eyes would become clearer and clearer and his mind would grow less foggy. "S-Shira?" he muttered as he would begin to fight the hold that Sanctum had over him. "I-I'm sorry...I c-can't fight him." he said as he fell to his knees, while he did, he would watch as Shira finished charging her cannon, "Goodbye." holding out his arms, Atticus would transform his hands back to normal and allow for the attack to hit him, ripping a hole straight through his chest. once the attack had ended, all that was left of Atticus' abdomen was nothing but a gaping, bloody hole, but luckily none of his internal organs sustained too much damage. Atticus would then cough up a tremendous amount of blood and then fall forwards, completely unconscious and his heart beat slowing.
Looking on as Atticus had defied his command and control, Sanctum would smile out of sheer pleasure at the sight that Atticus was in now. "That is the price for freedom, Atticus. Even though you regained your humanity, you are closer than ever to death's door." he said as he would then notice the different presence that was there. Hearing the person introduce himself as Drak, Sanctum would seem to take an interest in this being. "You..." he started, "Drak was it? You are not like these other fools here. Just who or should I say what are you?" Sanctum asked as he would completely forget about Atticus and Shira.
While Sanctum was busy talking to Drak and Michi, the hooded figure that Shira had been calling Despair, would appear before Atticus' lifeless body. Standing above his head, the man would look down at Atticus, "This was always meant to be, shinigami girl. Atticus was always meant to die here, before your very eyes. That cannot be changed." he would say as he then looked over at Shira, "I will now tell you who I really am, and what Sanctum's true connection to you is." he announced.
