Umm well to be honest it's really kinda hard for me i hadn't really figured it out it just kinda came to me when i just felt like i was in love and having dreams of girls and what not. I was hoping to find someone to be with before i told any one but i haven't found anyone i can talk to or be with. so i have told no one. was this wrong of me to chose this not to say anything? I just so scared i really don't have anyone to talk to about it. crying thanxs for hearing me

Hey, I'm kinda new here. I'm really lucky, in that I live in New York City, so most people are very accepting. I'm even luckier in that my parents are fine with it (my dad is actually bi) and after I came out, so did a bunch of my friends. eek

Basically, I'm "out" to all my friends, anybody in public who wants to know, and my mom. So, everyone EXCEPT my relatives(excluding my mom and stepdad razz ).
My mom was perfectly fine with it. She told me that she'd love me no matter what sexuality I am. My stepdad found out through my mom, but he doesn't care either.
As for my friends...I came out first to one of my best friends. I originally though I was bi, but that's another story. So I told her...
Me: Hey, {friend}... {Friend}: Yeah? Me: Um...I'm...I think I'm bi.... {Friend}: Ok. *continues doing what we were doing before*
So, she's ok and was also the only person who participated in the Day of silence at my school with me(that I know of). ^^
Almost all of other other friends are ok that I'm a lesbian, but there's a few who weren't. My friend "L" was appalled. So was HER friend "J" sitting rihgt next to her. They were all bitchy about "It's in the bible that it's wrong!!" and "You're a sinner!" And then "L" started praying right in the lunchroom at school! surprised She stopped when "J" said it was enough, but...what the HELL gives them permission to shove hateful beliefs down my throat?!
I mean, they KNOW I'm not Christian anyway! stare I told them "I don't care. F*** you!" and then kinda backed off. Needless to say, I don't talk to them anymore. stare
And my friend "K"(who I have a teensy crush on heart ) was fine with it.
K: You''re...? Me: Yup. 3nodding K: Ok, whatever.
And I think she's oh-so-subtlely coming on to me! eek Oh well, I think she's a smart girl and has good judgement. I don't think she's discriminate. smile
Although, most of my friends are online(sad to say), and we all hope to meet each other someday. Of course, they're more than ok with it; they're a GLBT linkshell(linkshell=guild) kinda like this one! Except they don't have so many members. blaugh
I'm waiting to tell my dad, my dad's girlfriend, grandparents, etc. My dad and his girlfriend might be soon because they're pretty open, but my grandparents are strict Naptist Christians. I have no idea in hell how they'll respond! sad Although, I think they'd learn to get over it eventually.
Especially 'cause I I'm in love with the most beautiful girl in then universe! ^.^ heart

I'm sort-of out to everyone. When I was eleven and thought I was bi, my "dad" was the first one to know. My cousin was second (the one I now live with), my former best friend and cousin's cousin was third, and then my other cousin (who I /used/ to live with), was third. xD
When I was in sixth grade I started letting more people know, like people at school, etc, etc. I said that I didn't want everyone to know, but secretly I'd hoped a rumor would go about, and it did. So now I'm just like, "Yeah, I like girls. No, I don't think you're hot; I hate you. Pssh.." You know, 'cause I'm a loser like that. Even some of my teachers at school know because I've written things and rumors even get back to teachers, so..
My mom knows/knew/knows but doesn't want to remember that I don't like guys because I remember telling her when she was drunk one time, and I've told her repetitively when she asks me about boys. I honestly think she's not capable of remembering. (Alchohol will do that to you.)
The only people that I think probably don't know (or they might, but they just never say anything about it), would be Grandma and GrandDave. My aunts (except the one I live with) and uncle probably don't know, either, which might be a good thing being my uncle is a Reverend. >>;
Nobody was really /shocked/ when they found out. Some people got weirded out a little, but they got over it. Most of them were just like, "Okay, whatever.. Now about that cheesecake."
It's not really an issue anymore, except for a few minor problems.
