Miki hoped that Jirachi would be able to grant Bastions wish. Though what would happen if he understood everything. Would he leave? Would he still have a reason for talking to her. "I really hope Jirachi can grant your wish," she said as she held his hand.

Bastion  Bastion stared at the now flashing Jirachi and tilted his head head as he looked at Miki.
"I don't feel any different, did it work? I don't know anything new really..." ((Sorry, my schedule is odd as of recent with drama. I won't be able to post for a while till 6ish))

Miki looked at Bastion. "Really? Maybe there are some restrictions to the wishes or something," she said. She was a little sad for him. Then she was startled when she heard the hawk speak. "Um, well it seems to have worked for him," she said unsure of the reason why it didnt work for Bastion.

Zoltan heard Bastion and Jirachi. " Well, hold on for a second. We didn't really give him a chance to try it out. He can't tell if it worked right now because he doesn't know what to look for in his brain."

"Perhaps, you're right." she said agreeing with Zoltan. "But even if it didnt work Bastion I'll help you learn more." She said as she hugged him. "So any ideas as to what an earthquake is?" she asked Bastion to see if it really hadnt worked.

Bastion Bastion smiled and hugged Miki back, her presence had made his mode a bit better. Though when she asked him the test question he scratched his head and sighed.
"It's um... When the earth... quakes?"
Bastion still said sounding confused, it didn't seem apparent to him that anything had changed. He looked over at Jirachi and sighed.
"Thank you for trying."

"Thats right, I guess... its the simplest version of the answer," she said. "Earthquakes are when the earth moves due to plate techtonics and-" she cut herself off because she was getting very technical and she wanted to confuse him less. "Well, lets just say the earth moves from time to time and it needs to release stress. Earthquakes are that released stress."

Bastion Bastion looked at her very confused for a moment then nodded when she fave him a dimmed version. He smiled and hugged Miki then looked over at Zoltan.
"I hope you guys can help me learn more, I'll have this human stuff down in no time... and that bird stuff."

"You know... we should probably get you a computer. Then you'd be able to search the internet and find just about any information you may need," she said looking at him. Then she turned to Jirachi. "So, since his wish didnt work does he get another one until all 3 wishes are granted or does it count as a wish even if it didnt work?"
