Sylas opened another pack of cards and wasn't too disappointed by what he got, even though it was only a bunch of commons. He managed to find one uncommon, but it was one he already had. The TCG booth was starting to become one of her favorite booths, even if she had gotten mostly "common" cards from the booster packs. It reminded her of the good old days, where they used to play with pokemon cards after school... And sometimes in school, even if the school had a ban on card games.
Picking up one of the packs, she tore it open, and removed the cards from inside. After the wrapper was thrown away, she fanned the cards out to take a closer look at them, her eyes widening in surprise when she realized that her luck had suddenly changed. Picking out two of the cards - Jack Skellington and Glorious Arel - and pocketing the rest, keeping them with the rest of her growing card collection, she then turned to the student manning the booth, "Hey. Would you believe me if I said that these two came out of the same booster? I would like to trade in... This one."
She pointed at the Jack Skellington card; the Glorious Arel card might be useful... Maybe. She had the Arel card too, after all. Then again, it's not like she lived here, unless some of the hunters had decided to collect the cards as well.
[Ariane is a gruff-sounding werewolf boil with dark brown fur, and stands almost 5 feet tall.

After paying up, Deryk decided to grab another booster pack. Just because. The hunter's eyes went wide as he saw that he had grabbed a really good booster pack. Full of rares! And even a holo foil! Man, he was getting some nostalgia action here, recalling collecting and playing pokemon cards. As well as some MTG in the past. Bouncing a little in excitement, he looked towards the other booster packs. Try again later? He just might! Pepzilla Trading in 1 holo rare for abhorrent griftrix please! The festival was calming down and Ace could tell the influx of 'customers' at his booth was dying down. That was nice as he really was starting to see plenty of profit and interest collected over the course of the day. First Sylas and Arynek both brought him uncommons. He traded them their prizes then turned to Ariane and Deryk whom had both approached before together. One Nyan out of you and I'll... I'll.. he thought as Deryk traded in but then suddenly
Ace threw himself over the booth at the wolf boil and just stared at her with wide eyes in silence for a minute or two then shakily held out a hand. "Is.. oh Jack," he panted. "Is there any way I could maybe.. b..both?" he asked. Poor Deryk's holo went temporarily overlooked. The greed demon would have otherwise snatched it up in an instance but this was just too much for him.

Ami opened another pack of cards. This was the easiest job yet. All she had to do was stare at weird cards and hope for some holographic ones. Could money be made any easier?

Ariane was not expecting such a reaction. Or rather, she was not expecting such a funny reaction out of the boy. He looked like he might need to go to the bathroom soon.
"Both?" She rubbed her chin, looking thoughtful, "I don't know... I mean, Glorious Arel might do something with Arel? Don't want that card to go to waste."
Really, she was just teasing, because it was funny.

Micail walked up to the booth and took a look at the packs on the table. Reaching out he grabbed one of the pack that he had grabbed before. Opening it he looked through the cards. He had a few he had gotten before and one he could redeem. How ever, rather the redeem it he wanted to keep it. Shrugging he placed the cards back into the case they came in and placed the case in his pocket.

Making his way back toward the TCG booth, Aedan accepted his booster pack, ripping it open before, as per his usual, fanning out the cards to see what he'd gotten. He blinked. He'd gotten two rares--one a holo, one a regular...but both of the same card. What a tough decision!
His pack had contained:

If it hadn't been the same as the regular rare in the booster pack, he thought, there would have been no way he'd have gotten rid of his first holo card! Maybe he'd get lucky and get another one some time soon...Pepzilla May I trade in my Holo Monster-Red card for a wishing crown, please? biggrin

It seemed as if there were enough cards was Yin passed by, so he took a new pack and opened them carefully, hoping to see some familiar green. Unfortunately, as with every day since his first pack, there were no Nurse Crickets to be had. There were not even cards that could be traded for something. Eisheth was frequenting Ace's booth: her interest in Card was strong as never before. Now she was almost regretting she decided to trade away the God Card so fast, and she was secretly hoping to get another. Uncovering the next pack, the alchemist whistled. That was plainly hilarious. She got 9 (!) common event cards "All my friends are dead". That was ironical: sad, but true. All her friends were dead indeed, no need to remind her. The last card made her happy, though: Holo Rare Demon Arel (9 cool ! " Ace!", she called the student. " Phew, finally I got something for you here: a token would be nice for it, I think". The alchemist just noticed it actually pleased her to win something nice and trade it way, she was pleased by the attention she was getting. And that was really weird. She never used to be a hero wannabee.

Shehk wouldn't have mind having a few cards or whatnot. It seemed like the most recent game, after all, and well... meh, no big problem, right? It seemed the demon manning the booth was giving away a pack for free as well. Shehk smiled took her newly obtained pack of cards and ripped the foil open carefully.
After all, Red was on the front...
It seemed likewise that there was a Red inside the pack as well, and Shehk found herself trying to not tear up a little bit. Oh Red.....She brushed her thumb over the picture. Would they remove her from this set eventually because of her supposed 'crimes'? Either way, Shehk knew that no matter what, she was keeping that card.
Nothing could take it from her, and she actually shoved it into the top of her shirt. There. Safely tucked into her boobs. Classy.
Arel on the other hand, wasn't exactly her favorite and she looked to the demon manning the booth. With an already sour attitude, Belladonna was more than suited for failure as she hustled to the trading card booth. Was Freya around? Maybe the ghoul really was a good luck charm, and if so, Belladonna could certainly use a little bit of it...
It was no surprise that the witch only pulled measly lower level cards, only one high enough to trade in but she too bothered by everything else to even try. Ah, she wanted to keep it anyways. Professor Darcy's was a card she didn't have but had secretly been hoping for, so why not?
At least not everything was turning out super terrible...
