As he looked down at her he noticed that her top gaped open slightly. Whether one would see that as an advantage of being tall or disadvantage of being short was beside the point. Really it was just impossible not to see, it was not as if he was staring or anything.
The submission that she brought to the forefront had his eyes narrow slightly, but he listened to her full explanation. His clan's mark, a small hint of a smile at that. Luck was...what it was. Luck was not bad to have, but he would not count on it. Wisdom, yes he accepted that. The idea that the dog had come into play because of Senga amused him. He did not intend to leave the colt alone though, he was just right for cultivating. With a bit of effort they could turn him into a proper stallion, someone befitting the clans. He just had a bit of maturing to do was all.
The idea that it could be a priestess in his future made him nod thoughtfully. Yes, submission was not an entirely bizarre thought. Relating it to a priestess...he lived a life of submission. If it was to his clan, part of his duty, he accepted that. "Thank you."
His red eyes moved to glance at Lifen, perhaps it was time to visit her as well.

Mori caught the scent of tea, and meandered his way over to the booth that appeared to be the source. They were doing some kind of fortune reading, too, which seemed a little silly, but the samurai was itching for a cuppa. He considered a moment, and decided it might be interesting, at least, to get the leaves read. After handing over the coin for the fee, he picked up one of the cups without deliberation, and drank it down as quick as the temperature of the beverage permitted. Then the ghost set the cup back down on the table, glancing between the arrangement of damp, steaming herbal wreckage in the bottom and the lady who had offered it, and grinned eagerly.

Nebi turned and headed to the tea readings. Maybe the tea could help define the charm. Nebi chuckled, probably not, but it would be fun anyway. Paying Lan's, fee, Nebi took one of the cups and drank. Afterwards, she held her cup out to the horsewoman to be examined.

Soren moved over to Lifen's portion of the booth. "Sorry you were alone," he murmured to her, reaching in to pull out one of her fortunes.
Her sudden and cryptic response had him raising an eyebrow. Good fortune from one, ill from another. That was just how luck was, a fickle as a mare that needed to be broken.

Lan glared with a blush. Eyes on her face Soren. Why males were so interested in breasts she never understood. They got in the way, especially in battle. She debated about tossing one of the 'consolation' prizes at the back of his head but no. That would serve nothing. She'd leave it be. A student was next, and she smiled, blush fading quickly enough. Good symbols. The tiger, the dragon, and conquest. "Unexpected wisdom, along with perfection. You have a good fortune, almost perfect I would say," because conquest, "The only thing I would advise is to be wary of what wisdom you gain. Not all things are worth learning, nor, all secrets worth keeping. But that aside? You're quite in the clear, the symbol of conquest always points to such."

Another with the offered cup, Lan smirked. So many were drawing the tiger as of late. It was rather curious. Perhaps something terrible was on the horizon? She didn't dwell on that for herself, only for those who drew the symbol. "Well it's a rather clear cut fortune. Weakness shall be exploited. You must train to protect yourself, be wary of those who might betray you in battle... or otherwise. My suggestion would be to practice alone, and keep others a bit distant for a while."

"Thank you." Train alone? She could do that. How she was going to keep others at a safe distance during a festival was going to be a tad bit harder. Still, she'd definitely keep her fortune in mind.

Before she left the booth entirely, there was one more 'game' she could play before she left. It was a kissing booth. Did that count as letting her guard down? Oh, well, what did it matter. Maybe the fortune was for after the festival. Sure. That sounded about right. She approached Sorren and put her payment in his box. The kiss she got was...wow.... Slightly dazed, Kemnebi wandered away from the booth, not noticing the mini following after her.

After a moment of hesitation Eisheth decided to try the Kissing booth. It was a festival after all? So, as long as Mei doesn't see it, she was fine with it. Surprisingly for her, the guardian wrapped his arms around her bode, and pressed his lips to hers; his tongue darting like an arrow. And he wasn't smiling. What could that mean? At least, she was sure the Guardian of Death never smiles, so it shouldn't mean anything particular...

The kissing booth was not what she had expected. On one hand, she felt a little like she didn't get what she had come for. On the other...if he did not wish to kiss her, she was not going to force him to. Maybe he was just upset about the water dousing thing earlier. In any case, he had moved on to other things, and Shaheen began to watch curiously as he, and several others, began to have their fortune's read by Lan.
Hrmmm, how very interesting. Shaheen stepped over in that direction next, reaching out to take the cup of tea offered towards it and draining it before handing it back to get her fortune.
Strength, but defeat. Something unexpected to be on guard from. These two fortunes made her frown, pulling her cup back to peer inside of it. "Are you sure that is what you see?" She murmured, before hearing about the third fortune, that of war.
Battle harder, train to become stronger. Her weakness would be her downfall. She knew all of this already! This wasn't so much a fortune as much as it was like Lan was looking directly into her mind and plucking out her own thoughts. She set the tea cup down, frowned, and uttered a small thanks.
There, she had done her part in supporting her fellow horsemen, at this booth at least. Now she had elsewhere to go.

He had come back to the booth for reasons unbeknownst to him, his expression rather darkened instead of the usual smirking one he universally held. Mengyao couldn't deny that he had not enjoyed seeing Soren kiss Lifen, despite the fact that it had been an innocent kiss to her forehead, and she had not even blushed from it, instead adopting a curious look - but a part of Mengyao was somewhat sulky over it - which irritated him.
He did not sulk. He was a Horseman of Conquest, a Noble of the royal bloodline even without the horns that he had spent years defending himself from, and Nobles of Conquest did not sulk.
When he arrived back at the booth, he could see Soren standing there, over near to where Lifen was sitting, and they were speaking in quiet voices to one another. Lifting his chin, Mengyao swept across the floor towards the pair and leaned over the booth, setting down the proper amount.
"I believe this will get me what I want?" he said with a smirk, sliding the money across the booth top. Leaning over, he curled his fingers in the front of Soren's shirtfront and pulled him forward abruptly, until their mouths were just almost touching - closing in for the kiss now -
"Except you're not what I want."
Last second, Mengyao shifted suddenly, let go of Soren, and instead snaked a hand around to the back of Lifen's head, pulling her towards him, and promptly pressing his lips to hers instead.

Maggie approached a bit hesitantly. She wasn't entirely sure about fortune reading, but, what the heck, why not? Taking the tea, she carefully drank it, making sure not to burn her mouth.
Being under someone's thumb and then....death? Oh man, that sounded just AWFUL. But, it was only for fun, right? After chuckling nervously, Maggie scooted away from the horsewoman rather quickly.

Quote: If you roll doubles, the fortune cancels itself out. (Basically, your tea leaves don't show squat). Alice saw another horseman at the booth. It was a woman who was very beautiful. The horsewoman was giving tea readings, and smiled. Maybe I will get lucky and get a good reading. She drank the tea that was given, and handed back the glass. Sadly, there wasn't a fortune in her cup. She shook her head slightly as she spoke. "Thank you very much for tea. It was very good."

She was going to make a quip about how nice it was to have Mengyao back, and how she was glad to see him embracing the more less known noble delights, but then that all changed.
His kiss went to Lifen.
Lan stared for a moment, blinked, then smiled. Mengyao would do well to worry about that smile.
