"I'd believe you'd have anything at this point." Replied Eric, he watched her tap the crystal against her armor. On contact, a rippling wave of red energy flowed from plate to plate and dispersed. The same effect happened again and again. Eric whistled and tapped on her armor with his knuckles. "That armor really must be crystal ready."

"yeah, wow" Mina said before letting the crystal float by her. She set the box down next to her and pulled up her armor then her shirt to expose her stomach. "we've seen what the armor does, lets see what the baby does." She said pushing the crystal to her stomach.

The child within her moved closer to the crystal, glowing brighter with crystal. When it was pressed against her stomach, it became absorbed within. Though hardly noticeable, it cause it to grow ever so slightly.

Mina jumped slightly and rubbed her stomach. "well, now we know what happens." she said pressing on her stomach some, having not noticed the growth. "hopefully, that wasn't a bad thing." She said a little worried. She pulled her shirt down and then her armor, going back to collecting crystals. "think we'll find other colors?" She asked.

Eric scratched his head, he wasn't expecting that. "It didn't hurt you, so I'd say it wasn't bad." He walked away, following a trail of more crystals. "As for other colors, we'll just have to wait and see. We need to get out of here, though. I don't expect to see a food court or inn here."

"yeah, you may be right." Mina said looking to her unhurt stomach. She started to follow Eric, stopping with the crystal gathering for now. "good idea, we can always come back for more later." She said.

"That's right, I bet this place will become a mining spot too." Said Eric, he smiled at her, hoping to get her to cheer up and smile back. As they continued to walk, he did gather crystals that were in way. He felt heat, a lot of heat from the room across the hall. As they did, Mina's child only glowed a brighter and brighter shade of red. "Is it getting hot in here, or is it just me?"

"i don't think it's just you." Mina said as she wiped some sweat off her forehead. "I think there's something up a head generating the heat." She said pointing down the hall.

Eric and Mina walked down the hall which was leading to a bridge, though the heat may have been getting to them. Turns out the heat was being generated by lava below them. It would be quite a fall, the lava was very far down, but it could be seen, as well as it's heat was very much felt. "Lava, just how far down did we fall to see that?" In front of them however was Duon's World Ring and the cause of Concept's reaction to the red crystals, the Flame Ring itself. It was sitting on a pedestal, rightfully so.

Mina looked down and shrugged. "I have no clue but it was quite a ways." She said. She looked forward across the bridge and pointed. "hey look, it's, it's the world ring." She said.

Eric blinked and looked off into the distance. So it was, the world ring. He walked over to it, he could feel the presence of it's power. "Well, Eca did want this, right? I just don't if I should take it, you know?" He wondered, then again, it seems like Mina's child wanted this. But it wasn't a toy...

"well, if we don't take it." Mina said looking around. "some one else will cause I'm sure once we get out with these crystals people will want to come down and get some and some one else is bound to find it."

"I suppose you're right about that." Said Eric, taking a minute to think about it, the gunner walked over to the pedestal and reached for the world ring. As he tried, a red barrier prevented him from grabbing it. Each time he tried, the barrier stopped him. Eric turned around and shrugged his shoulders. "It's no good. Theres a force stopping me from getting it. You want to give it a try?"

Mina nodded and went over to try. As she reached for it the barrier did try to stop her but her hand passed through it, she giggled some. "it tickles, a lot." She said as she grabbed the ring. She pulled it out of the barrier and looked at it then to Eric. "I wonder why you couldn't get it." she mumbled.

"Long answer, I'm a Uni, it probably has a safeguard so I can't take it. Short answer, mommy's little child did it, speaking of which. I think you should put that ring away." He answered, thumbing towards Mina's stomach. it was was glowed a consistent red with the ring being in her possession. Suddenly, the floor began to shake and rumble. The lava rose up much higher and lifted a a platform to their right. The platform was a bridge to another hall.
