Someone congratulated Dreidyn on her high score but told her to not come back for another game because she was too good. Dreidyn just gave him a nod and went on her merry way with an Enigma berry and a gold coin. Old people were odd sometimes.

Fin meandered into the group of older folks clustered around the shuffleboard triangles. “Mind if I have a go?” she asked, perhaps a little too loudly. Several members of the group shrugged noncommittally. Caddie was still snoozing, so Fin set her in a safe corner where she could keep an eye on her, and where the Delibird couldn’t roll away in her sleep.
Someone handed her a wooden paddle and gestured at the disks on the deck. “Doesn’t seem too hard,” Fin muttered to herself. “Let’s do this!”

"Whoo!" Fin had done pretty darn well for her first game. Even the older folks seemed impressed, nodding their approval. One lady grumbled about "beginner's luck", but begrudgingly handed over a prize - an Enigma Berry and... another pirate doubloon. Fin stashed her winnings with everything else she'd collected on this weird ship. "Again!"
