"I couldn't let you two down." He smiled to Araima. Gale gave her a warm hug, she had him missing her after the kind of afternoon they had together. "I won't make anymore broken promises. You deserve better than that from me if i'm going to be your husband, Raima."

Ariama leaned her head on his shoulder as he hugged her. She was so glad he was able to keep his promise. She almost couldn't wait til it was like this all the time. She looked up at him, happiness radiating from her features. "I can't tell you how happy I am to hear you say that."

Game smiled and cupped her soft cheek in his hand. He knew she was made of stronger stuff, but sometimes she seemed so delicate. "I'm relieved to know that. Let me not take you away from your book." Gale then gave her a small kiss. "I'll get ready for bed soon and be right there before you know it."

Araima kissed him back and nodded. "I'll be waiting for you in the bedroom." she said, that soft smile still gracing her face. She was so relieved to have him back. She could wait. They both knew she could wait. But the truth was, with this baby coming, she know they couldn't exactly wait for him to be around.
Araima walked into the bedroom to give him time to prepare. She climbed back in bed, relaxed now that she didn't have to worry. She was ready for sleep, but would wait.
However her body had other ideas. Without even knowing it, she fell asleep.

Gale watched as Araima went to her bedroom. He was happy to be back with her again. He needed to learn to keep focus on his new responsibilities as a father and husband, or else they would never make it together. Shaking it out of his mind, he got his sleep wear on and followed after Araima.
To his surprise she had fallen asleep in that short space of time...
"Oh yeah, you're waiting alright." He chuckled, he made sure she was all set for bed before doing the same for himself. Afterwords he gave her a little kiss on her cheek. "Rest easy my love, tomorrow is another day." He then turned to their child, which made him concerned of the future.
"I want to be a great father to you kid, but I don't know how to. If I get it wrong for a few years, you gotta forgive me." He gave Araima's stomach a small kiss as well and finally went to sleep himself.

Araima awoke late several days after that night. The sunlight was bright in the window. She looked around a little disoriented. She had woke up early and planned to stay up and prepare any last minute this for their trip to Gale's parent's house. However, she had closed her eyes for a second fell back asleep apparently. It must be late afternoon now.
She breathed in deeply and looked beside her for Gale.

Gale had been awake for most of the day. He had assumed that Araima had not woken up the entire day, as she had woke up before him the first time that morning. While she slept, he did all the necessary house activities for the day. Gale saw that she was resting so soundly, he did not want to disturb her.
He was in the middle of preparing himself a small lunch. He made lunch for Araima too, just incase she woke up, it was almost time to get a move on anyway, but if she was that exhausted, he would raincheck the visit.

Araima saw that Gale wasn't there. Then she really jumped up and out of bed. She looked at the clock dismayed. She started for the kitchen to find Gale, then changed her mind and took care of the morning business as quickly as she could.
Finally she walked out to see Gale finish making lunch. She sighed. "I'm sorry. I hadn't meant to over sleep." she said sheepishly. Next time she woke up, she'd get up. Laying there for a second longer didn't help.
She moved to his side and kissed his cheek. "Good morn--- afternoon." she laughed.

Gale had just gotten lunch finished when he saw Araima sigh and brought up conversation first. He shook his head in disagreement when she apologized for sleeping in. "Good afternoon sleepyhead. Don't worry about oversleeping, okay? I hope you're hungry." He said as he slipped a plate of food over to her.
Gale was still experimenting with what was in her little inventory, so he hoped what he came up with wouldn't make her sick. He looked at his watch, forgotting that it won't work in her world and chuckled. "I'm just going to assume your parents will be coming soon."

Araima breathed in the smell of the food. He'd been messing around and testing her ingredients, so she didn't know what exactly to expect. She took a tentative bite.
She swallowed and smile reassurance to Gale. "It's good!" she talk him and began eating more. She'd slept in longer than usual and was a bit hungry than usual because of it.
"Most likely. Mother will be fussing over leaving her house in order. She likes it to be clean and tidy before she leaves it." she said.

"I hope she's not just saying that." He thought, breakfast tasted absolutely horrid, so Gale was dreading lunch at the moment. He tried the new dish himself, huh, how about that. Lunch did taste good after all!
"I can see that, I feel sorry for your father though." Said Gale, he wondered what was in store for him after he would marry Araima and raise their family together.

She chuckled at that. "Don't worry. They've been together long enough that he know when to reign her in and when to let her have her way." she said. She finished her plate with a satisfied sigh.
"it shouldn't be too long now. She's had all morning."

"I think I can believe that." Replied Gale, he smiled when he heard that sigh of satisfaction. Next time, he'd have to write down just what did he even use to frankenstein a dish. "I'd hope so, I'm getting kinda nervous about not making it at a decent hour."

Araima took his hand. "Don't worry. It will be--" She was cut off by a knocking on the door. "Fine. Could that be considered good timing?" she asked with a surprised smile.
She opened the door to let her parents in. "Good afternoon."
The pair were dressed, normally for them. Her mother was wearing one of her skirts with his hair braided over her shoulder to hide her ears. He father was as formidable and always. However... Araima bit back a giggle. "Why are you wearing a straw hat?" she asked her father.
"Because I won't have any one seeing what they shouldn't yet, I I could fix his hair right." her mother answered for him.
"I get to take it off in a manner of minutes anyway." Ellis whispered to his daughter. "Then you can have this ridiculous hat."
Araima chuckled and rolled her eyes.
"Afternoon, Gale." Ellis greeted Gale. "I hope were ready, or else we may get set back again.
Meanwhile, Irana was grilling Araima for details.

"I'd judge it as such." He mouthed a thanks to Araima when she opened the door for her parents. They looked well dressed, not so much humanly but it was very lovely. They did well to hide their ears, well some better than others.
"Afternoon, Ellis. we're all good to go. You're sure you want to go through with this? Have you ever been to my world before?" He asked her father. Wasn't too late to back out just yet.
