Menolly giggled softly and smiled back at him. Yeah, she really like his smile. She watched the wind play around them and almost started all out laughing with what it was doing to his hair and how it felt on hers. Reaching out she smoothed a strained that seemed to be danceing.

Wolfwood blinked then chuckled, seeing she was trying to fix his hair. "Didn't we come here to play in the water?" he questioned. "At this rate, all we'll do is stare at each other and giggle."

Menolly thought about her sister a moment, when he mentioned playing in the water. Sunny was very attached to her hat, was Wolfwood as attached to his clothing? Why else would a pae wear anything, it was not necessary?
Nodding, she responded,"Yes, we did come to play. My sister, Sunny, did not like things happening to her hat." She paused a second to try and think of how to complete that thought. "Should I keep all splashing away from you?" Seemed better then asking 'are you as attached?'.

Wolfwood blinked then smiled and reached out to ruffle her hair. "Well, if you're asking will I get upset if my clothes get wet: no, I won't. They'll dry just fine."

Menolly concidered that a moment, and quickly rolled away from Wolfwood, a full 180 before getting up and making a dash to the water again. Her hope was that she'd be able to get to the water and start the fight off, and mayhaps even keep the momentum going.

Wow, she's a quick one Wolfwood thought idly then he hopped to his feet and gave chase, splashing into the water after Menolly.

Menolly turned when she heard him splashing in after her. Giggling and playfully sticking her toung out, she throws her hands into the water and lifts sending waves forward. Having energy to burn, she was sure this would be a long lived game.
She did wonder if her wings might be of help, or if it were possible to give her power to the waves, to make the bigger. However, she did not even try to think about using her power, it would not fair or half as fun if she did.

Wolfwood let out a girly shriek for Menolly's amusement as the water hit him then he dodged aside and splashed her back, grinning broadly.

Menolly laughed so hard when he made the shriek, not expecting it at all, that she let up her splashing. Blinking when she got splashed, Menolly shook off a bit and smiled back, reaching for the water and throwing a retaliating splash his way.

Wolfwood tried to dodge it but, sloshing around in the lake as he was, he couldn't quite get out of the way fast enough and caught the water in the face. Spluttering, he wiped away the moisture then leaped toward Menolly, arms outstretched.

Menonlly put a foot backwards to try and get away. Then an idea struck her, she reached out for a hand. The way she was standing, Menolly hoped to grab his hand and then fall. Yeah, she'd hit the water on her back, but he'd be dragged into the water as well.

Wolfwood saw what she was planning but he couldn't halt his forward motion and fell right into her trap, feeling her fingers wrap around his wrist and the pull as she fell backwards into the water. He only had time for one strangled "Ack!" before he went under. A few seconds later, he came up spluttering and flailing, his black hair plastered to his head.

Menolly poked her head above water and shook her head a bit flinging water off the strands. Rasing her hand, she moved her hair aside so that it was not blocking her vision. She smiled at Wolfwood and giggled feeling quite proud of herself.

Wolfwood looked at her and growled playfully, launching himself at Menolly and giving her a quick dunk.

Menolly giggled and playfully stuck out her tongue before being dunked. Swimming back up, she looked at him from behind her drenched hair, then shook her head roughly to send as much water as she could his way.
She then went under the water trying to grab his leg and pull him under for a moment, she would not hold on any longer then it took to get him completely under.
