Yuji was keeping a close eye on Ameile. His last words was if she did somthing to keria, other then somthing a mother should, or cnfusseed the poor girl any more, yuji would seriously do somthing to ameile, she would hate him for forever. He prommist that with a seriousnes slike no other. Becuse he knew how it felt and he didn't want her to be effected as he was many time before. He did care for her. Alot more then somtimes it let out to be. Meanwhile shorstraw walked in with her, as the whole familiy was around the kitechen as yuji was outside with hikari at the grill, being showed exacly what to do without screwing upt ther hamburgers and hotdogs.*

Kiera didn't feel like she belonged. Not knowing anyone around the room made her feel insecure. Amelie was in this room, writing down something in a notebook it seemed. Kiera kept one close eye on her as she made her way around the room, careful not to talk to anyone. Not that they would get a conversation out of her, anyway. Ansel was next to Amelie, instructed by Asher to keep her on a lead like a dog, but he couldn't bring himself to find a collar for her. Amelie would just chew it off anyway, no sarcasm intended.

*Veria was chasing fter Asher int he yard, yuji started grilling, as Hikari prepared the rest of the food. Meanwile Yuji called to ameile, "hey come here..." meanwhile shortstraw nodded to Keria, stay at her side. "relax, let loose alittle bit. Look Eve is here, and so is Mr Yuji. And i'm here too, Ms Eve put me in charge of helping you i wont let anyone confusse you if i can help it." He smiled, "you can trust me and Ms Eve. And anything your dad cooks... dont' eat." he laughed, "ms hikari is your aunt, she's relly cool and makes the best food ever. I dont think she would hurt you either. She's in ties with you father as his wolf."

Kiera stuck around shortstraw, and watched as Amelie raised her head, then shut her notebook, hiding it in her coat then walked over to Yuji. She looked mockingly innocent and batted her eyelashes at him. "You called?~" Kiera brought her attention over to Hikari. As a wolf? This really was a mixed family. But she could sense that Hikari was genuine, too.

Yuji put his arm around ameile and kissed her* "Comeon a familiy get to gether, have some relax time. Or at least party alittle with me. It's the most normal this family could ever get." he chukkled, "so far the food is still edable... and it's a nice day for a cook out."
Meanwhile the table was bing set up and stuff. Veria finally stopped chasing asher and walke dup to Keria, "hello shiny sister. It has been a while," she giggles alite evily. Shorstraw stepped up, "don't do anything to ms Keria today Ms Veria i mean it." Veria smiled and nodded, Kay.~ I wont..." she suddnely appeared behind shortsrtaw and ran a finger accros his nek, "but i can play with you instead then..." Shorstraw wasn't having it though and flipped her over his back to the floor, and pointed at her. "No..." she giggled, "okay okay heehee... but only if you eat dinner sittin gnext to me..." she replied. He made a face, "fine..." and she left them be running off to find asher.

Amelie pulled a face. "You know this isn't my kind of thing.." She looked over his shoulder to Kiera then back to him. "But fine, i'll try to relax a little." She said as she kissed his nose and escaped his grasp, walking over to where Kiera was.
Kiera was still dumbfounded on Veira's personality "Wow. She really is a weird one." Kiera didn't even know the half of it. She hoped that she really wouldn't see much of Veira today. This was when she was faced with Amelie, that weird woman who constantly scowled at her. "Hello Kiera, remember me?~" She said invitingly. Kiera looked at her, confused. "No, i can't say i do." Amelie frowned a little, comically. "Awh. Well dear, i'm your mother, you see. Your wonderful mother." Kiera shied back a little. She'd been constantly warned about her mother. "What is it? I'm not going to bite." Kiera still didn't answer. "Fine. Fine. I'll bet the others told you not to trust me, right? How nice of them to turn my own daughter against me." Amelie shook her head dismissively and turned around. Amelie knew the guilt Kiera would feel. "Wait." She said timidly. Amelie turned around and pulled a face. "Hmm?" Kiera held her side. "There can't be much harm in talking to my own mother... right?" Amelie smiled warmly. It appeared this new Kiera was none the wiser.

*Shortstraw tugged on Kerias sleeve and waited for her to let him whisper in her ear, "she of what i understand messes with peoples heads. So becareful with talking to her. It's okay i guess, but don't think too hard on anything she said, some may be disleading and other parts may not. All the same the old you wasn't fond of your mom, i don't know much about it... but... i have no proof either i just... hope you trust me on it..." he whispered alittle sadly. He didn't ahve much proof of anything. Infact he didn't even have proof he could be trusted, even though he was the one telling her who to and not to trust. He felt alittle ashamed of the matter, being the way things were right now. It had to be vary confussing.
In the background Yuji was glaring at amilie. Meanwhile he stopped next to Hikari. "Wolfy i know your cooking and stuff, and i hate to both you about you sister, but i don't have mind reading abilitys and i trust you. Please let me know if you sense anything aginst keria, or misguiding of keria... don't act if there is, just tell me. I'll take it from there wether she relizes i'm serious or not.*

Amelie looked down to look at the boy, dragging her tongue across her inhuman like teeth as she began to feel the wheels in her mind churning. "So you're one of the people telling her to not trust me? Shame on you~" She said playfully. She brought her hands behind her back and looked back to Kiera. "You don't find me untrustworthy, do you dear?" Kiera's eyes shrank to a thin slit. "You haven't done anything to make me think otherwise, yet." Amelie cocked her head slightly. "And what have they done so far to earn your trust?" Amelie's mouth grew into a painted grin, as she said the words skillfully. Kiera looked around hastily. She was right. Maybe if Kiera's theory was right earlier, what if they were just telling her things to distract her from the real good people, like her mother? "Nothing.." She mumbled.
Hikari shrugged a little. "Amelie often blocks me from her mind. Sometimes i might not be able to sense what she's thinking. Although when she does block me it gives me a good idea that she's up to something."

*Yuji nodded the moment she blocks her head, i'm going in. No chance will i let her distroy keria any further then we have already once done. She diserves better then that. Shortstraw looked sadly, "i don't have any proof either... when i became your apprentice you didn't mark me or anything... so i have nothing to show for it to prove it..." He looked over to Eve. Would she even trust Eve right now? Shorstraw was feeling worse and worse, feelig he would fail Keria when she needed him most, unsure what proof he could bring.*

Amelie glanced anxiously over to Yuji and Hikari, knowing she didn't have much time left. She planned this carefully. Amelie shook her head and flicked her wrist. "Well, we're all your family. We'd have no reason to work against eachother for possessions of your mind. We should all love eachother, right?" Amelie's eye gleamed for a second, before she turned around and began to take off. "I'll see you at dinner, anyway." And for now, Amelie's interrogation was postponed until later.

*Shorstraw stood silent looking sadly tot he ground. "I'm sorry." he replied to her ever so sadly. he had no proof anything he said was right, no that he really was her apprentice. she never gave him anything really... then he thought about it. THe coat she gave him. He smiled, even though it wouldn't help becuse it didnt' have any sort of singature of her on it.*

Kiera looked to shortstraw and smiled warmly for the first time since she'd woken up. "Sorry for what? You haven't done anything noticeably against me. Sure, any of you could be lying to me. But you probably aren't. To live as a person as to not trust anyone is sad, and a pitiful existence. To not trust anyone is to not be living at all." She scratched the back of her head and chuckled nervously. "Besides, there isn't really anything i have to loose, is there?"

*He looked to her. There was much she could loose. But he nodded with a smile* "Well even if you don't trust me, i'm still going to try my hardest for you. And when you get your memorys back, well then i maybe for once your be a happy Ms Keria. i havn't really seen a happy keria in a long long long long long time after a certain insident." Yuji started running around, mesisng with eve. And the two were laughing as they were snatching a buring hotdog from eachother and running. "Not happing!" yuji yelled laughing as Eve tackled him to the ground and sat on his back. "Get off!" Yuji yelled, Eve closed her eyes and crossed her arms witha large smile of overwelming joy. "Ha i'm hevyer then you thought." Then then grabbed the hotdog and patted his head as she bit into it, "better luck next time." But started laughing. Meanwhile Saber was helping Hikari talking toher with alittle more happyness then usarl, things were starting to work out for the familiy a bit, and of course Vera was chasing Asher, around and around Ameile, meanwhile Percilla was int he living room watching it all happen in silent wand without expression as usral.*

Kiera watched everyone a little awkwardly, and looked back to shortstraw again. "Is my family normally this happy? Do things like this happen a lot?" She wasn't sure as she watched them again, not sure if this was a rare event and she should make note of it or if it was just a regular occurrence to look forward to a lot.

*Shorstraw shok his head* "No your family is usally dreadful and not full of much life. Everyone is either doing there own thing, or mad at eachother. Usally you don't care about any of it and you don't stick around any of them. This is a rare thing to see, the first time for me." Meanwhile Yuji struggled to get free and the grill cought on fire, saber was putting it out quickly, and Veira finally had hold of Asher carring her around from her front paws as a little child would. "Now kitty you make me a kitten!" she replied shaking Ahser up and down. Shorstraw started to laugh at it, then it seemed it was time for dinner. MS Hikari was putting things on the table, and Eve was finally leting yuji go. Saber had saved the burgers and hotdogs fromt he grill and was glaring at yuji with a plate full of food. Faith was already a tthe table talking to Master Fu about some things aswell.*
