Danny smiled as Alexander seemed surprised. "You're welcome." As he leaned forward, she chuckled a little, then scratched the back of her head. "Well, I've grown up in this town my whole life. There's nothing fancy and cool about my past. And I've never been to Ireland," she said, looking at Alexander. "I'm an only child, I'm 17... I really like technology. Like, I have a real knack for it. I'm in this club at school where we program and fix school computers, gosh, I love it. And, um, I like the color orange. And pink I guess." She laughed a little before continuing. "I like good food. Heh, and... um, I guess my favorite subject is science... and I like camping." She finished, crossing her arms in satisfaction.

Danny laughed aloud again. "I don't even consider that camping," she told him, taking a sip of her drink before picking up her fork again. "I call that a vacation. But yeah, I actually camp and stuff. Like, gather your own wood camping," she told Alexander.

He was slightly surprised as their waitress showed up, asking if everything was alright and whether she could get them anything else, although she was speaking directly to Alexander, who raised an eyebrow. "Danny, would you like something else?" He asked, turning away from the waitress to address her solely.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

A small laugh came from Danny at the idea of a camping trip. It would definitely be fun. She looked up at the waitress as she walked up to their table, and gazed at Alexander as he addressed her. "Could I have a refill, please?" she asked nicely, looking to her empty glass that still had a few ice cubes in it and her straw. She was secretly grateful that Alexander had turned to her instead of having the waitress have to ask her herself. That girl made her feel uncomfortable.

When she returned she placed Danny's drink and the bill on the table and walked away, apparently realizing she held no sway over Alexander. He picked up the bill and looked it over before taking his wallet out of his pocket. He looked up a moment. "Oh excuse me Danny, are you finished?" Gulping down some of her drink, Danny looked over at Alexander. "Mhmm," she said as she finished sipping. Her eyes followed the waitress until she was out of sight. "I think she was trying to flirt with you," she said, knowing it was obvious. She winked at him and stood up, reaching in her purse to grab a few dollars. "Okay, listen. If you're kind enough to pay for the bill, at least let me help," she insisted, feeling guilty. She always felt like this when any guy would do something like this, such as pay for a meal.

Danny was about to protest again when she stopped and paused for a second before realizing what Alexander said. "Wait, so I have a job now?" she asked, getting excited. "I can work at the apothecary??" She smiled in delight, jumping up a little, clapping her hands together.

Danny smiled. Her parents would be glad she had her own job now. She slipped her purse over her shoulder and checked if Alexander was ready to leave. "I guess I'm heading home now," she said, not really ready or wanting to head out just yet.
