Jasmine looked at this scene, so weak were they... and she... what did she have to her name? A Skarmory... a level 2 Gligar... a Happiny who didn't know anything to affect... and a ghost in the presence of dark and maddened beasts...
She bit her lip, and thought for a second, they couldn't heal the sickness... but as she looked at Ironclaw's grimacing expression, she looked to Nightingale.
Her words were true after all... who was a medic's real enemy apart from Death?
Ally? Rival? They healed whomever they came across, theirs was to give life, not take it.
The Murkrow had killed, but under madness themselves, who could say what state of minds theirs was? And were the islanders right to slaughter them instead as punishment?
Who really could pass judgment?
Certainly not her, as she decisively called to Nightingale, "Aromatherapy."
The Happiny stood forward... and blew a kiss, gentle and sweet, as the winds picked up behind her, and from her pouch came the strange herbs and smells, taken flight by the wind, blown to each Murkrow, one after the other... would this at least soothe them or clear their minds to answer truthfully?
They'd see shortly.

The affect wasn't that much of a leap, nothing, afterall .....if that move had worked before it would have been used by many others in this case. No this wasn't confusion, this was pure madness and there wasn't a scent in the world that could cure it ....as they all clacked their beaks continuing the chant.
Their feathers fluffed. They want her to come closer so they could pounce, they feared the ground, because they couldn't be sure to be get back up ...but if she would come just a bit closer ...those on the lower branches could snatch her up and they would tear her apart without touching the ground.
Their wings open wide as they caw and gloated and taunted and called for the girl come closer. To bring one of her pokemon in the fray, it was become quite obvious, that Jasmine wasn't going to get anywhere with her current stance.

Jasmine frowned... true... it hadn't worked on Lickitung... why would it work on them?
She pondered... she could send someone back... but then of course, the Murkrow were infamous for the move Pursuit... she didn't want them to suddenly come to life to rip into any they picked on...
She had four pokémon... a Happiny who could heal...
A ghost who was also a fire type...
A Gligar who could fire poison stings and swap her defense and attack...
And Ironclaw, her main stay if it came to a fight...
Well... then there was her...
They couldn't get too close, as it was, they were in a dangerous position... if she got too close, they could swarm...
But maybe she had another way to grab one at long range...
She reached into her bag, the scraps of clothing that she'd brought... and looked up, it was a bit of a long shot... but she nodded to the others close by her...
"Nightingale, you and Lindbergh hang back," She instructed as she took the clothing, and threaded bits together, rolling them, even if it was awkward with just the fingers on her broken arm, she worked away, eye focussed on the birds, before finally, she strung them together, forming a noose....
She took her time, aimed.... and readied herself... but how hard would this be?

Malignant red eyes would move to watch what she was doing. The throw of a noose, something unique, as they mobbed around the fabric even as she threw it. This was going to be quite the interesting situation, because, if she was fast enough she could pull one of the birds from the tree and towards her. But if she was slow, oh if she was slow ...the would tear that fabric to pieces or worst.
As eyes glint with understanding as some of those beaks would actually reach for it.
IF they could get ahold of it, they would pull her towards them ....into the midst of them with one hard ...and fast pull. This was a very unique idea, very unique indeed, but how would it work out ...was a matter of speed and luck as it would fall amongst them ...though whether it would capture it's prey or be captured by one of the strongers ones ......it was all luck.
(Out roll me to capture a Murkrow with the Noose, if you roll is under mine by 5, Jasmine will be pulled into the tree)

Jasmine had one good arm to use, and she had to use it well as she flung the strip... and as they clacked their beaks and gripped, it was for the best... after all, she didn't want the necks, she wanted to catch the beaks, muzzle the birds from biting any further, as she tightened down... and braced herself, her jaw set as she used her cast on her other arm as a fulcrum, pulling backward now...
This was hard... there was no lying about that...
But just because it was hard wasn't going to stop her from trying to do what she needed to do!
"The sooner we can heal you... the sooner everyone can get better!"
"Let's... do this!!"
((EDIT: ...Oh, oh dear))
((Looks like Jasmine can forget getting rid of that arm cast for a while >_> ))

(Ouch)
The pull would be greater as a mass of beaks would grab the rope and yank hard pulling the girl from the back of the Skarmory into the mass of Murkrow. The pokemon would almost give a cheer as sharp beaks would peck at her head and shoulders before gravity and something with a breathe of cold would force them to release.
THe girl would have deep scratches all over her body, and if she had a few broken bones it wouldn't have been unimaginable as standing there in her own glory and fury was Nurse Rachel Joy with a Cubchoo at her side, but that wasn't all as a shy face would disappear behind her legs. Another inhabitant of this place ...the one whom have alerted her of what the young Medic in training was up to.
Her eyes were raging.
"You stupid, pint size."
She would roar at her ....as the girl would be picked up quite quickly ...even if it caused further injury this was more important as that gag of Murkrow seemed to sqwark in their fury of their missed meal.
She would be places on the back of her Skarmory and the woman would get to work trying to bandage and sterilize all and any wounds. The possibly of it spreading to her ...was actually pretty high now.
"Students never listen, they always know better."
She grumbles as the group was allowed to see the full rage of a Nurse Joy whom had been disobeyed.
"Take her back to the clinic,"
She would command Ironclaw.
"You will go home if I have to put you on the boat myself after this incident."

Jasmine was attacked on all sides by the birds, plucked right off the back of the Skarmory... and all of her inhabitants went to rush forward, when instead... she would fall to the ground.
There was the familiar crunch, the cry she made, she bit down... and was bundled up, painful or not, she could only lie there, her head low, her mind swimming... how quickly that had went wrong...
"...Couldn't leave... without trying..." She said rather pitifully, "Not when you were needed at the center..."
But she wouldn't be allowed to lie there and wallow in her own pity, as Ironclaw would nod and about turn, whisking the girl away the rest of her team following alongside and watching backward for any attempt at sneak attack...
No.
This was it for Jasmine, the girl being dragged back to the center, for who knew what now...
And it was certainly clear, she'd made herself look every bit the novice here, as Rachael was the one who would be fixing the mess, and she was the one who would have to finish the job of bringing back the Murkrow...

"Is that your problem? You don't listen do you!"
The woman would tell her as they walked.
"Your Professor has every plan of bring another squad in to finish the job. It's just too much for a single student on her own ....you haven't learned about Co-op yet either.
A team of trainers can deal with capturing those pokemon better than a single medic. You have to know your limitation, soon, others will depend on you."
Rachel would tell her as they walked through the door. Her own pokemon stopping their duties to set up another stretcher ...a bed of sorts for the girl. The girl would look around to find that one of the pokemon Jasmine had brought, the Minccino would be up and about. She was helping out as best she could ...when she as able to keep her mind clear as she looks upwards with question in her mind for the injury trainer.

"...I still had patients here who needed help." The girl replied weakly as they walked, she didn't have any more defense than that, "...and I wanted to make up for the mistake with Aether too..."
She couldn't deny any of the woman's logic, as they went in, she winced instantly as she was laid down, the bandages she had had actually acted as a natural shield, shredded as they were from the Murkrow's pecking, no real wound seemed to have done as much damage as the fall, which was instantly visible in the fact her arm's cast was shattered, nearly half falling off the limb, and a visible contortion of the upper limb.
Jasmine couldn't think much, her head was swimming here, moving her about only seemed to make it worse for her as she lay there, biting down, her shoulder was broken now to boot, and it wasn't going to be the easy, that alone before the risk of infection shouted volumes.
The girl turned her head... and it took a moment for her visible eye to see the Minccino, as she smiled, just a little to see, at least one of her patients seemed okay for now.
But herself? She must have been some sight, bandages bloodied and torn, her many wrappings pulled asunder, if she hadn't been wearing so many layers it could have been worse... but a glimpse of her face was bad enough, those bandages on her face coming loose, the burns and the scarring underneath.
She looked slowly back to Rachael, her smile turning back to somber.
"...I'm sorry I'm only taking up your time."
And a small Happiny stood forward, looking up to Rachael... would she allow the Happiny to work on Jasmine instead here, or would it be her full medical team that took the job then? She couldn't intrude on another nurse's station, but hope she'd be allowed to help at least...
[We'd like to make up for Jasmine being unable to help just now.]
[If you'd set us to work, we'd be most grateful right now?]

It would be a glare that met that Happiny as her Mankey would get between her and the station.
(You want to help her? Find a Apricot berry before we finish, otherwise, your trainer will leave not only broken but a failure as well.)
HE would sneer at the Happiny. Normally he wasn't this mean, but this was a lot of extra work as Nurse Rachel would sigh openly. She would need a cast from the shoulder up, and that is after doing the corrects to get it back in place. NOrmally a doctor would do that, but she would set things up for temporary measures at the least.
Her mind now going over which of her two pokemon she could use to take her to the beach and get her back to the main land. These were bad wounds and the longer she was here, the more likely the infection.
The woman was so mad she could scream as she waves off Jasmine's babble.
"You should listen to your elders, enough said."
SHe would turn as she looked over at the Mankey, defintely. She had a Riolu whom could help, and they could get here where she needed to be as the woman would go into the back to look for a open place to put her ...as the mankey would gather up the necessary bandages that would be needed to rebandage. THey didn't even seem startled at the burns on her face, afterall, she was a member of the organization and they had seen worst.

Nightingale looked hurt at the Mankey, looking back at it with a somewhat indignity. [She HAS the berry, it's that bulb thing we're missing!]
[And I might not be strong, but I can see where my help is needed.]
[Jasmine needs attention, a lot of it, you know it and I know it too.]
[Unless you know a way to get that Bulb while Jasmine's here, I'm helping carry our weight!] She would push at her arms as if rolling up sleeves, a silent band of helpers behind her.
If Jasmine was down, they would pick up the slack... but Burnout looked thoughtfully aside, waving to Ironclaw... as the two would begin towards the exit... in all the confusion, would anyone really notice them moving outside at all?
The Mankey had a point after all... find the item before they were finished...
Jasmine, however, was commentless.
She couldn't fight the nurse's point, she hadn't listened, she'd gotten hurt, maybe worse, "You're right... I know."
She spoke very quietly, "I was too caught up in this to thin-kah!"
The first attempt of straightening her shoulder, she'd cry out, but bite down, until her lips dripped the smallest drop of crimson, determined not to scream out loud for the rest of the room... they'd have her to work on... and she in herself was a lot of work.

Though those eyes would show no mercy as the Mankey would move over and allow the Happiny a place at her trainer's side helping. It was as much of an admittances of a yes as she was going to get. She had fought for her place, and it was one thing that a fighter type always respect ...is a fighter.
Free to deal with the wound as she needed to, the girl was have it places back into the socket, as the Nurse come out the back with a few other things. Something to add as a hardening in place of a cast, a bit of plastic that could be snapped together from the front and back and would hold the bones in place. It was normally used on a Machop, but luckily the girl wasn't too wide in the shoulders to make it useless as she set about her work.
The woman would notice it ...the Mankey had accepted her Happiny working with them.
Maybe there was still some hope for her ......

Bit by bit they'd work, the little Happiny concentrating on the task at hand, looking at Jasmine and knowing that the girl felt it all said a lot... but on a case of gentleness versus speed in fixing this... it was better for all they fix her quickly instead.
Whether or not she was left to feel it as punishment, or they'd long ran out of painkillers, Nightingale worked, occasionally asking one of the others to get an item for Jasmine.
Away they'd work, the old cast being removed and Jasmine's arm straightened, before Joy's brace was taken and worked on Jasmine, even with the Machop's small size, it was still a bit too large, but with proper padding, they inserted Jasmine into it, and yards and yards of bandaging would hold the limb out at her side, the injury obvious as she was mobilised in this temporary cast.
And she sighed, slowly stepping back to allow Rachael to check their work...

Though the Happiny would get no inspection, afterall, she had been working with the girl. And the Happiny's call to get another pokemon to fetch was meet with the Minccino only ...those sour looks appeared again. They cared little for one whom didn't listen or for one whom didn't know their place.
Yet, it would all come to an end soon enough ...as Nurse Rachel would walked away to start working on a new patient. She didn't have any more time to waste on the girl whom refused to listen ....as her two pokemon flank her on both sides.
Nightingale would get her wish at last. She was left a lone to deal with Jasmine ....while meanwhile, her other pokemon would be allowed to go hunting. Looking for the Bulb as they would cross back into the place where they had been chasing the Rhyhorn. Though there was a lot of dead foliage, they needed to find a live plant ......perhaps near the water itself.

Nightingale sighed, all she could do now, was ensure Jasmine was alright... She'd check back on her, but it was clear the ordeal of the injury, as well as treatment alone had drained her completely.
Without any proper pain mess, all she could do was lay a cold compress and mop away at the sweat, leaving her cloak over her as a blanket, whilst her now injured arm was forced out at her side in a permanent wave.
She would look to the Minccinno at least, whilst Rahael's other Pokemon would head off. [She'll be fine now, with some rest.]
[I'll keep an eye on her... But if you need any help, please just call, I know Jasmine would want to assist you helping everyone here as you have already.]
~~~~~~
Meanwhile, able to pass through the town uninterrupted, now the group stood upon the grass, some still burnt from the prior battle between the Rhyhorn's fangs and Burnout's blazes, the Lampent and the Skarmory stood, watching forward.
[Well, let's see if we can fix this...]
