Sarabelle smiled a bit at Dontee when he said that she seemed well prepared, coming back to reality after that momentary lapse. Fighting back a slight yawn, she listened to what he had to say. When he mentioned his previous experiences with backpacks, she couldn't help but laugh, her laughter just as graceful as the rest of her demeanor and her voice alike. When he mentioned being the one asking her all the questions, but her not having any in return, she thought for a moment, glancing over at him as she thought about what she might want to know. Do you live in your human form most of the time? she asked curiously, thinking about what it must be like to be a dragon that lived as a human... assuming that was what he did anyway. She didn't know what it was like to have more than one "form" and that rather intrigued her.

{Sorry I poofed mom wanted to suddenly re-do her room, for her birthday so I was helping with that}

"So long as it's not at the pain of the injured man that you've found comical, then by all means, laugh."

Eve smiled at his words "I have learned never to laugh at those in pain, or you most likely find pain yourself." She nodded agreeing with herself.

"Unless you have further business here, I believe a cup of coffee is in order?"

Eve looked at the bar and frowned "it's difficult to say really, I probably do have business in there but I have no real gumption to go inquire." she stated offhandedly.

"Let us go get coffee before someone I know spots me." She grinned and quickly pulled him in the direction of the coffee shop.

Eve felt kind of irked even though this incident happened at a bar, there was most likely some people who weren't drunk, who saw the incident. Will that be enough for a peacekeeper to locate the mess and will that peacekeeper try and get rid of her?

Dontee nods at the laughter, taking no offense in it. He found the laugh quite melodious, which made him smile a bit in hearing it. He looks over to Belle for her question before looking forward. "Well, around humans I certainly do... but not all he time, there are some days that I just stay about my cave in my true form... other days I spend all my day in human form... but, I guess now-a-days I do spend most of my time in human form, but it'd have to be by a slim margin... for I do manage to find time to spend time in my true form." He says as they walk into the forest. He nods. "... and shortly, we'll be far enough from people that I can walk freely in said form without concern of being caught by common eyes... you can also let your ears show, because there's likely no humans around."

Sarabelle focused on what Dontee was saying to keep her from focusing on her exhaustion, actually rather intrigued about how long he lived as a human versus a dragon. She didn't really know much about dragons, or really anything for that matter. Of all the creatures she'd come across, Dontee was the first dragon. She nodded a bit after his first sentence, smiling a bit as she tried to picture how humans would react to a dragon. Probably not very well. Well at least you get to spend some time in your true form, does it bother you to have to be in your human form so much or is it not much different? she asked carefully, simply curious about having more than one form and having to live in the one that wasn't natural.

Her eyes glanced over at him for a moment when he paused before saying that he could show his true form soon, as well as saying that she could let her ears show. She laughed slightly then, saying I'm horrible at hiding my ears, there's always poking out. No one ever seems to catch on though. She smiled and pulled a hair tie from her wrist, tying it around her long, blonde hair with two colorful streaks and putting it up into a ponytail, so that her ears were showing completely now. She had a few piercings in her pointy ears, but nothing too major.

Dontee shakes his head with a small chuckle, smiling after the chuckle. "No it doesn't bother me... there are some good things about it, some bad... and it's very different. I pretty much have to live life like a human does if I was to be in human form for a prolong period of time, because I'd have to follow a human diet... for my taste buds are altered a bit and my teeth are different. It's a bit like "being in another person's shoes"... except you're the same person... and a different body." He explains before slowing to a stop and then turns to Belle. "Alright, I'm going to shift into my dragon form real quick... And just to warn you... you may want to shield your eyes, for this process emits a lot of light." He says before taking a number of steps back and away from Belle, as to insure he doesn't transform too close to Belle and to insure proper spacing from Belle for when he is in his new form. He closes his eyes and begins to glow before becoming engulfed in light and then in a bright flash of light transforms into his dragon form. He glances around casually before looking down to Belle. "So... what do you think?" He asks, though his mouth doesn't move. He spoke telepathically, but his voice seemed deep enough that is seemed to sound as if it was being spoken from right out of his mouth.

Sarabelle smiled a bit when Dontee laughed, listening to his response about having two different forms. She was very intrigued by the whole idea so she listened intently, surprised to find that he said it didn't really bother him, although it was very different. She considered this for a moment and was about to reply when Dontee stopped walking, saying he was going to shift forms. She nodded and stepped back slightly, moving her hands up to shield her eyes a bit as he suggested. When she heard his voice again, she moved her hands away from her eyes and gaped a bit before quickly shutting her mouth, wiping the look of surprise away from her face. She kind of wanted to reach out and touch his scales or something, but she refrained, finding that would probably be odd since she knew him as a human first, not a dragon.

That's amazing. she said gently, her eyes scanning over his enormous dragon form. She was very interested now that she was completely certain he was telling the truth, and well, this was her first time seeing a dragon. She didn't want to seem too amazed or anything, but since she'd never met a dragon before, she couldn't quite help it. She felt like she was being childish, but ignored the feeling, looking up at Dontee who now towered above her. And telepathic communication... that's rather convenient. I was wondering how speaking might work in dragon form. she added with a bright smile.

((Sorry again about the auto hit, yutary! I'll be sure to watch myself with that in the future.))

Agrona watched with mild amusement from above as life within the barrier of the arena appeared to freeze for a second. The cold eyes of the stone snakes seemed to be watching the battle just as intently as the demon as, with catlike reflexes, the leader of the three creatures pounced, his actions showing no comprehension that a second of his life had been put on pause. The second was quick to follow suit while the third paused, as if sensing something was off.

The third turned its head about, his nose ever sniffing the air as his stony gaze stared unseeingly ahead of him.

Chaim let the Eve pull him from the bar, giving her no resistance.

"I will contact the Peacekeepers once we reach the café," Chaim said at the sight of the emotions within Eve's eyes. "I'm sure that they'll have no trouble sorting all this out much quicker than either of us could."

Chaim walked through the streets with confident footsteps. Finally, the glowing "open" sign of the café met his eyes, the lights shining through the large storefront windows casting an inviting glow onto the passing sidewalk.

"After you, my dear," he said with a slight bow as he opened the door for Eve.

Lucius Carmine
۩════════════════════════۩
Status: Curios
Location: In a tunnel
Company:Alyce (without her knowledge)

۩════════════════════════۩

xxLucius did well to keep his presence unknown. And they say insects are useless. He watched, and waited, for Alyce to finish her trek, what with her acrobatics and agility. He admits he lost her a few times with her quick movement, but given that she's the only boding body near-by, and she wasn't bothering to silence her foot-steps, Lucius had no trouble relocating her. He eventually saw her go into a tunnel, and made a mental note to mark this location of interest. When Alyce descended into the tunnel, Lucius jumped off his dragonfly, and hit the ground like a water droplet. He then changed his form into a snake to gain distance, as he slithered on to the tunnel. Carefully, he clung to the tunnel's sides, making his way down into the darkness. Whilst still in the cover of the shadows, he eventually found himself in a much larger tunnel, with Alyce not to far off. "Too close to fly. Need to stay small, but not much to hide..." Lucius then had a eureka moment. "Illusions!" Lucius wrapped himself up in three layers of illusions; one that hid his body like a spell of invisibility, one that covered his scent, and one that silenced the noises around him. These Illusions seemed worked a bit backwards to the ones most are aware of, but they are actually clever ways Lucius applied them at that moment; instead of making false imagery or effects, Lucius made the false imagery and effects of no images or effects. In short, he made Illusions of something that isn't there, by making it look like it wasn't there at all. Once protected by his layers, Lucius followed Alyce, keeping his distance, and still making an effort to not make any noises, despite all his movements being silenced.

((Don't worry about it. :3))

"Indeed we do," Loki answered Bebinn with a smile. She walked into the room and stood to one side, not sure where Bebinn would be comfortable with having them sit.

Jarod walked in after his mother and gave Bebinn a quick grin. He felt a kind of confidence now that he could match her in height. "Good evening, Miss Bebinn." Jarod took a different approach upon entering Bebinn's room and comfortably plopped into a chair. "Is there a particular subject you would like to start this conversation with?" His voice held a very polite tone that could just manage to keep him from sounding too inquisitive or pushy. "My mother knows you better than I do, so I'm sure you can imagine that I have questions." He knew, however, that sometimes even tone of voice didn't fool some individuals and he could still come across as annoying at the very least.

"He hasn't had practice in a while," Loki apologized. "Sorry if he's bothersome. If I had to guess I would say one of the things he wants to know is if he can 'learn' your appearance, so to speak."

"Oh bother," Jarod said in response. He had on an English accent now. "Bother, bother. Mummy don't talk about me as if I'm not there. Come now." He pulled another chair up next to him and patted it with his hand. "Sit here with me. You're not supposed to tell people what you want until they've warmed up to you. Come, sit, sit. We can all discuss the situation more comfortably this way."

Loki could see that he was enjoying himself. She sighed, giving in, and walked over to him, then gave him a sharp but light tap on the head. "Stop it," she said, but then laughed as he feigned being deeply hurt.

Dontee slowly sits down as he lowers his head so that he can look at Belle at eye-level, also being aware of the possibility of her wishing to pet him... for that seemed to be a common response from people who never seem to seen a dragon. "Well, yes... I learned to use it as a dragon, though I remain unable to without great focus as a human. I can still verbally speak as a dragon... though, since it has been such a long time since I have spoken in this form, I fear I may speak too loud or pretty much roar, and alert some humans of my presence. So, better safe than sorry." He brings his head a little closer and informs her "You can pet me, if you want to. I can tell your tempted to... it's a very common request, and it won't bother me... in fact, it feels nice to be petted every now and then."

Belle watched as Dontee lowered himself to sit, his head lowering as well to look at her at eye-level. She smiled a bit when Dontee said that he could use telepathic communication as a dragon, although it took much more focus as a human, and that as a dragon, he could speak as well, but had little control at the moment of how loud he would talk. That's interesting, how you're able to telepathically communicate easily in one form but not the other... and ya, roaring may give us away. She said, grinning a bit after her second sentence. She still couldn't even imagine how a human would react to seeing Dontee now. They'd probably just pass out, or run around screaming... or run around screaming until they passed out...

When he said that she could pet him, she bit her lip a bit, still finding it to be odd since she had met him as a human, but she simply nodded and smiled at him, saying Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one who's intrigued then. She smiled a bit more and stepped forward, running her small hand over the scales along his neck, the texture much like she had expected it to be - almost reptilian, but not exactly. She ran her hand along his scales several times before she drew her hand back and backed up a bit, so she could look at him eye-to-eye again, smiling brightly at him.

((It's alright, it happens))

Dontee closes his eyes a bit as Belle stroked his smooth scales. He opens his eyes and looks to Belle as she backed away from him once she had finished. He looks away to look around before looking back to Belle. "... We should get moving again." He stands once more and begins walking, looking back to Belle to ask as he walks "So, am I the only 'mythological creature' you seen in awhile?" asking mainly to try to bring back a casual conversation, despite the situation not being so casual.

Belle smiled and nodded in agreement when Dontee said they should get moving. She walked alongside him and glanced up when she heard him speak again, asking if she had met any other mythological creatures along her travels. Ya, quite a few actually. Including a particularly hostile vampire, a group of friendly shape shifters, and some others, like a few elves and the occasional not so friendly demon. she said with a slight smile and light laugh, thinking back on her odd and interesting experiences. Most were more so a burden than a help, unfortunately. she added, glancing back up at Dontee as they walked and yawning a bit.

Alyce walked through the tunnel, glancing around much more often than she normally would. One of the times she looked back, she noticed a snake, but paid no mind. It was only a small snake. But she still couldn't shake this feeling that she was being watched. Followed. A quiet, irritated growl escaped her again from the feeling, bringing her to look over her shoulder again, almost in a paranoia. Nothing was there.

"Wait," she thought to herself, and stopped in her tracks. She turned again, eyes narrowing. "Wasn't there a.. Snake? ..Ugh, never mind," she thought. Nothing could be seen in the tunnel. She couldn't hear, or scent anything out of place. Perhaps she wasn't being watched, but someone, or something was really close? She ran towards the entrance to the tunnel and peered out, noting that there wasn't really anyone there. "There has to be.. I don't just get these feelings for nothing," she thought to herself, and got out of the tunnel again. She looked around, and walked a couple of paces to glance down the road. Jumping back slightly in surprise, she noticed a faintly familiar male. She stood a moment in a bit of shock, then ran back to where she was, and pretty much dived into the tunnel she was in, slipping through with ease.

She began walking down the tunnel rather quickly, brushing herself off again. Was that male following her? And why did he look so familiar? Was he the reasoning for the feelings she was having? And why did he look so familiar? She ran through what happened today, than came to her realization. It was the one she nearly knocked into! At least, she thought it was. Perhaps that was his reasoning for following her. Maybe something to do with that. If he was following her, anyway.

Dontee nods. "Well, all I've seen around for awhile have been races that appear as if human... so that leaves such as vampires and shape shifters... though I rarely appraoched any of them, unless they were doing something that I couldn't ignore... such as a vampire trailling behind someone in a dark area." He says, glancing forward before looking back to Belle once more to ask "... How tired are you?... If you need rest, you can sit on my back for a bit."

Alexander had been walking around the area from the sidewalks for a bit, of which he had seen the woman run for the tunnel after jumping about the roofs, but stops upon feeling eyes on him. He turns to see the woman run back from wince she came, casuing him to squint his eyes and walk, rather quickly, into the alley and down it for the tunnel. He was tired of walking around the situration and thought he may as well see what this woman is doing now that he has been spotted. Upon seeing the woman, he proceedes to run to try and catch up to her... though, not as quick a runner as her, he could run for awhile, due to having some expereince chasing down dragons. "Wait."
