There were two hunters coming at the demon, not that they truly knew the how or why.
It boggled them, really, as to why reapers would be attacking them. Both of them were free of the vines, though, and that filled the demon with an intense sort of dissatisfaction.
Everyone should have the pleasure of encountering a vine. A glancing blow struck the demon's arm, and they squinted at the reapers with confusion.
"Is there a reason as to why the pair of you have decided that fighting me is necessary?" The demon retaliated with a swipe of sharp, black claws, unsure about fighting to begin with.
They were not a tank, and their own vines were locked down. However, from the wound in their arm, with the thin fabric of their shirt sliced-- bloomed a vine.
Aleria crooned in delight, even as it wriggled underneath the surface of their skin. They spared the two reapers a withering glare.
"I am a demon, thank you, and you may call me what you wish, as ghoul and boil are appropriate in equal meters."
Jackdamn, these reapers were dumb. And mean. Plus, that echoing was getting pretty creepy. [RE-ENTRY] Jude came back again but this time not as a worthless sack of meat on the floor waiting to be violated by vines or to be tripped over by friend and foe a like. This time he was more awake as well except that didn't prepare him for what he was seeing in front of him. He watched the chaos and almost felt his heart clench up in a odd way that almost made him turn back only ... He couldn't let himself do that.
His sense of duty kept him moving forward in an almost stalwart sort of fashion.
Now the question was...Who should he aim for? He re-summoned his weapon into his hands.
Taking a quick glance around he zeroed in on a target but ended up tripping on a couple of vines...How glorious. Vines had several other painful ideas for him as well. Jude did not appreciate it.

Rin got a smug smirk as she joined him "Always. Never not bitches." It felt good to be attacking again, this room at the very least seemed less chaotic than the ******** ******** that the initial one he'd been in had been. Hitting things took his mind off the desperate dread he'd been carrying around that he had no idea where his comrades were. Rin being alive and well though was welcome and at least one weight off his mind.
But until everyone was here again, until they were home, he refused to stop fighting.
As Aleria spoke, Rep jabbed a finger nastily at the demon.
"I don't need a ******** reason to attack monsters. I don't need a ******** reason to attack anything. "
"I'm a ******** SUN b***h, I HIT WHAT I WANT."
And again he brought Tracey around in a sweeping swing.

Oh, that felt nice.
The stallion raised his head from where it had been hanging limp and dazed, unconscious almost. His withers twitched and fidgeted, aware and nervous of the vines and flowers all at once. He didn't know what was going on, only that the smell of battle was still thick in the air and --- oh, there were more of those annoying hunters around too. The stallion lurched upwards, picking himself up and rearing to break away from some of the thick vines that had wound around his hooves. Stamping in anger, he tossed his head, disorientation thick like fog in his mind. The dark rivulets of liquid down his side had turned stale and dry, but his maw was still dark and wet with it, lit by the neon haze his of his eyes.
Instinct took over then, a powerful and demanding crutch that made him ill with the need to fight again. Buck and rear and break until he was put down again. Groaning, the stallion lurched forward in the direction of Clerise. She was semi-familiar at least.
And she'd stuck a knife in him too, that had to count for something. Maybe.
Of course, the haunting echoes of words brushed against him then, like howls and whispers and screams all at once. The stallion lurched to the side and nearly tripped, stumbling into another hunter girl without doing much of anything at all.
Jackdamnit, he really hated this room.

Vanessa was clearly the slowest Lifer on the team (aka her RPer didn't get on yesterday), as by the time she got around to actually doing something productive, like shooting, the battle had already been raging.
Welp, no time like the present to get started, right?
So Vanessa did just that. She swung the Tesla Cannon up onto her shoulder and took aim at one of the weaker looking monsters. The vines looked like they'd get in the way, so she was glad none had attached to her yet. With no regret whatsoever, Vanessa shot a bolt of electricity at the little monster.

The rabbit's ears burned. "Fallow is that you?!" She turned to crane her head and a feeling of relief washed over her, soothing over her wounds. Maybe it was him, coming back from somewhere, or Dev. Her eyes burned and she scratched against them only to stop in horror. Inside of her something moved - and this time it wasn't her stomach. They were bright and squirmed under her gaze and the rabbit rolled over to try to free them off of her.
It was upon this realization that she decided to take a clump full of vines into her mouth and chomp down as hard as she could. They did not break, they did not bend - they remained hard and in-tact with the flowers shrilling out screams. Like the damn hunters in the room they seemed to be something she couldn't be rid of. Spitting them she moved back, dumbstruck.
"Fallow is that yooooooou?"
Her ears kept twitching and she saw the orange hair of her previous target from far off. "Hey yooou." She called out, drunkly tripping over her paws while she avoiding what clumps of flowers she found. "What'd you do with my horse?" It had begun to set in - the confusion.
"I SAID WHERE IS MY HORSE?!" Dazed, she lunged.
Sizzle.
The walking boquet that is Mea slumped down, rolling over into the vines as the flowers on her back cried out "WHERE IS MY HORSE?" with a shrill voice. Coughing she could feel blood from somewhere but let out a laugh while she was weighted down with more flowers.
She was feeling more like a decoration - a tired, fried, floral bunny decoration.
Which way was forward again?

Vines. Jackdamned Vines! Even for a Body snatcher, seeing something crawl under her skin was almost unnerving. Sure it wasn't technically her body, but still...it was hers enough, and there was something in it with her. The ghoul shuddered, taking a moment to claw at her own flesh; it ultimately did nothing but tear open some old stitches, and in the end she decided, as always, that sacrificing this body was worth it if she could attempt to take someone down with her. So she did, looking through the disorienting crowd with the echoing noises until she spotted a Hunter (gender unknown) with something draped over his (her?) head.
Well, close enough!
She sidestepped, pretending to turn her back to him to attack elsewhere before swinging her elbow into the Hunter's ribcage. Whoops.

After the attack by the white-haired hunter, Dev squished her eyes shut and carefully backed away. She yelped when something hit her again and she threateningly snapped at the other hunter, but she continued to walk backwards. She growled softly at both of them. Grunting, the cu sith sat on her stomach and hummed thoughtfully when a sudden feeling of relief overcame her. Her ears perked up. Reluctantly, she got back to her feet and shook her head. Dev’s tail wagged, but stopped when she realized there were vines wrapped around her. She gnawed at them, but they refused to budge. She whined at the sensation of the plants wriggling around in her arms.
Ignoring the plants, she immediately looked for Mea and Fallow. She spotted the mouryou first and her eyes lit up, but then another human went for Mea and sent a shot of sparkling electricity at her. Dev crouched low and raced for Vanessa.
“DON’T TOUCH MY RABBIT!”"DON'T TOUCH MY RABBIT..." She didn't even hear the flowers as she barreled past Vanessa. Derp.

Rin shot Rep another fleeting smirk, that cocky a*****e was the ultimate stress relief. Better yet when you could punch him but now was not the time nor place. He still distracted her though long enough she felt claws rake across her skin. The crimson blood forming instead into crimson blossoms with a mortified shriek of terror as her eyes went wide at it.
Was it... was it.. talking to her?
Still, the pain was distracting and caused her next blow to be glancing and more frenzied than careful. Like a wounded animal striking out in fear rather than genuine attack.

((Re-Entering)) Was it just him or was this room really.. flowery? Otto had to double take for a moment before gathering his bearings. His inaction led to almost getting nabbed by a curious vine. Otto winced and swatted it away, summoning his weapon. It was time for crowd control. Get rid of the monsters. That was the mission. He raised Tenya and threw the weapon threw the air, hitting one of them over the head. OOC:

Nobody answered on the radio. He waited for a long time.
Harrison looked uneasily around the room, hoping Candace would say something like Sure, I'll look after them for you. Or somebody would put Rep or Jordan on the line. Anything but Candace getting cut off, and nobody picking up. There was other radio chatter...things were bad everywhere. He scratched absently at his side, where a couple of arrows had been buried. B0nez had taken care of it, but...
B0nez was swearing a lot in the back of his head. He thought it might have something to do with the Charge. He should level it at something. The horse lady seemed like a prime candidate.
Finally, he handed the headset back to Michael.
"Thanks," he said, scratching again. "I owe you one." The flowers echoed the words about a dozen times. His nails felt something funny. ...Lumps? He tugged at them. They were....s**t. s**t. Bugs. Was it bugs? It was bugs, wasn't it, and he started to turn all sorts of colors, and the green room started spinning.
IT'S NOT BUGS DICKHEAD, DON'T DC, B0nez said, voice unusually tinny and urgent, BUT YOU'VE GOT SOMETHING IN YOUR SYSTEM. I NEED TO RUN A MAINTENANCE CHECK.

Clarice had been red, he remembered vaguely. Was it blood? Her blood? And he thought of Julie, similarly covered, and what had been under her skin, and now they all...
We got to find Clarice first, he told B0nez.

He floated forward. At least it was easy to move. In spite of the vines, everything felt...lighter.
There was a flash of red. Not Clarice, but... "Rep?" he asked quietly, and it came back all around him, rep rep rep rep rep, and it was hard to think. Wasn't him, probably. Hadn't been him before.
Clarice was right over here, wasn't she? He didn't want to ask, because his head was already starting to hurt. Pink. He should be looking for pink. "Clarice, that you in there?" he asked any way, and the words became a gruff surround sound remix.
You got to run the check on her, Harrison thought, it can't be like Julie.

He pressed the flat of the blade against the green.
And in spite of B0nez's protesting, a jolt of electricity coursed up the blade. The Hunter on the receiving end would feel a not-entirely-pleasant shock barreling through his system, but by the end of it, he and B0nez were feeling a lot more relaxed.
But not happy.
Sure. Great. I hope that fixes everything you idiot, B0nez said.

It'd been a clean shot, but Vanessa wasn't content enough with it. No creature that posed as an adorable, fluffy pet but was actually a monster would leave this room alive if she had anything to say about it.
With still no regret, Vanessa lined up her aim at the little monster again. Hey, it wasn't looking at her, so she had no qualms with shoots at it. (Then again, even if it was looking at her, she'd still shoot it. Repeatedly.)
And then something just failed at attacking her. She raised an eyebrow at it, and cooly said, before lining up her shot again at the rabbit-thing, "Really, what are you going to do to stop me?" And she pulled the trigger, highly satisfied with the prospects of zapping one of them in front of their friend.

Watching the reaper boil slash at Dakota, Mei returned her gaze to Tybalt as he lightly nudged her, urging her to move back. Nodding to him, she made sure to take a large step back, and watched as the black summoned a massive lightening strike. It was amazing to see, especially when he was already weakened so much!
When the attack was done, Mei moved back in, petting Tybalt lightly on the head before turning to Dakota again. "I think someone needs to call pest control. We got a problem." With that said, she was going to hit the boil, but because of the whole vine problem, she ended hitting another hunter ghoul. Oops.Rown LividPeas's character Mei-Xiu is attacking Ofelia for 1 damage!
