Robert shifted the man in his arms by hefting him up in the air and getting a better grip, before eyeing the spot of white empty snow they were both staring at intently as they envisioned their imaginary store.
"Yeah, I guess we could make some squid soup. But like, I don't know. Should have more than soup. Like. Sandwiches too. People love that s**t. You can't just have one thing, everyone will get bored and.."
He'd gotten bored with his own sentence and drifted off, only to be snapped back at the mention of jackets.
"Wait. The ********? Why are we makin' jackets? I thought we were selling food! God damn Jude, NOW you're just talkin' crazy!".

Candace was caught and she smiled up at Harrison. Oh, Harrison. Best friend ever. She couldn't lose him. She couldn't lose him, or Jerry, or Sasha, or Clarice or...or..H....

She wanted him. She needed him. She needed him to hold her and tell her everything was fine he was just being an overdramatic a*****e as usual and..ugh.

The ground beneath the hunters buckled and heaved with sudden violence, injuring many hunters and placing a few in GRAVE PERIL.Quote: The previous 5 people to post get 10 falling damage. "No! Passing out in the snow from hypothermia is for the weak!" she countered, half wondering if big-bro Leon was going to put his shirt back on, but also was fully aware he probably wouldn't for a while. So the least she could do was keep tentacles off of him so he didn't freeze to death from that or something.
She imagined they'd stick to each other like a tongue to a frozen flagpole.
Cass might have giggled a bit at the idea of it.
"I go without enough sleep to get up and go running before the sun comes up! That's something!" Stupid. Sleep was really nice.
However, it seemed Leon's earlier premonition was accurate. Yes. The ice suddenly cracked open and Cass passed a look up at one of the tenacles that came out of the ice.
Cass suddenly got grabbed by a Tentacle and pulled right off her feet and into the pit it had come from, shrieking as she went.

Music was swelling in Jerry's head, and he could only dimly hear a muted voice calling out to him. The force of Roar's bursts at the tentacles felt like slow motion pulses up his arms and down to his feet, sending the tentacles into a mad frenzy that send him hurtling backward.
The same distant expression was on his face as he wobbled back up to his feet, aiming once more with dim purpose.
The tentacles flailed, and he made a sudden noise of surprise as his air was suddenly squeezed out of him. He had one moment to note the tentacle around his waist before suddenly he was being dragged forward, not enough air to scream as he swung Roar around to try to drag him in the snow, praying he found a hold but no no no no no oh god oh god- the world was suddenly hurtling around him-

Great, now that Sydney got her s**t all sorted out she could just-
AW s**t.
There was a tentacle missed! It crepy up behind her and yanked her off the ground, prompting screams, followed by her fists banging on the slimy tentacle. Lots of "LET ME DOWN'S," and "
< Ami! Ami wait I'll try and calm it down. I'm fluent in ocean! >
She was not hearing this.

Now on top of flying through the air, she had to listen to Junpei wailing whale noises at the top of his lungs. Fabulous.

Dakota jumped as Jerry got tangled in and tried to reach for the sun hunter.
Unfortunatly, going down meant Dakota was heading straight for the mouth.

The ice heaved and buckled again. This time, while Jordan was catching his balance again, something bitingly cold and crushingly strong came whipping around his ankle, twining up his leg; it yanked him off his feet, and he yelped, swinging Ferros blindly. The hammer hit something, but it was only a bare, glancing strike.
Ferros growled furiously. I will eat it.
Not sure we can manage that, but I have no objections to trying. The tentacle was dragging him into the pit in the ice. Jordan gritted his teeth and twisted his arm to swing Ferros against the ice sideways; the spikes that ringed the hammer's barrel cut into the ice and slowed his descent.

Holy god. This was nuts, Mercedes knew that running around trying to dodge these tentacles for too long was not going to pay out. Tripping about in the snow she rushed towards her fellow Mist when suddenly she was tugged into the very dangerous pit. "Crap-- CASS!" she shouted over the noise. Man she was really not cut out for this rescuing business. The tentacle swiped at her and nearly knocked Hadjoc out of her hand. The round she fired just barely clipped the thing. Targeting your tentacool! brb with post <3 HP: 35/40 Tentacle on Cass dmg left: 9/10 Charge: 1/3

Rep was ******** tired of being /useless/. Tired of not being able to attack anything because of having no charges. All he could do was watch.
And as he watched, he recognised one of the figures near the edge, recognised them just in time to watch a tentacle snake up to seize him in much the same way H had been seized.
The world froze. Utterly ground to a halt as it felt like ice flooded his veins.
No way. No way. NO ******** ******** standing around. He ran forward full tilt to attack the thing. No tragic deaths, not today.
As he reached the thing, he swung Tracey like he damn well meant it, striking the tentacle with a dull thunk, ignoring the backlash of the spikes, caring very little for anything else other than making sure /everyone/ made it back to the island alive.

Leon knew it. he knew it. tell a kid to be careful of something and its the FIRST DAMN THING THEY PLAY WITH. course there was no time to gloat with Cass screaming her head off like that. Big brother impulses activate. "YOU LET HER THE HELL GO!" But its hard to hit something that was using a human for a potential chainsaw shield. However holding onto Cass for dear life was the next best thing to slow it down. "You ain't going anywhere yet, you hear me cass?"he refused to see her with bugs or anything they were going to dish out at them. Not her, not now. The ground trembled; Madison went to her knees at once, driving one of Kouki's blades into the ice as an anchor. She watched the ground split, watched the tentacles snake out and- "Get away from them!" she shouted, her voice starting to rasp from the shouting - not that the freak cared, but it was pure adrenaline spurring her on. She started towards Jordan, then saw that big, red-headed Hunter again, aiming for him as well and changed targets - that guy was huge and his weapon was huge and she felt pretty comfortable leaving Jordan in his metaphorical hands. "I'm coming for ya, Jerry!" she called out, tearing the blade free from the ice and charting at the tentacle encircling her friend. Another tentacle smashed at her, but she dove low and delivered a strike to the tentacle's base, tearing a good rent in the muscle. The ground rumbled and Candace gasped, reaching for something, anything to keep her from--s**t! Ow! ********! Son of a..ow! Her leg fell through a crack, scraping up against the ice something fierce. She hissed with pain and was quick to remove her leg.
Then suddenly Cass was in the air. Then Jerry was as well. What the hell was--
"NO! JERRY!" Candace gasped, pushing away from Harrison without a second thought. No. Nonononono! Not Jerry! Not him! H was bad enough not Jerry too!
Candace waited for Madison to get out of the way before spinning on the ball of her foot and kicking a leg out, spinning herself like a ballerina and chopping the tentacle in half. Jerry. Jerry. Save Jerry. Get him back. Protect him. Oh, Jerry! She reached out for him, hoping to god she could catch the man instead of letting him just hit the ground.
HP: 28 (Falling damage + 5 recoil)

As if angered by the discussion Jude and Robert were having, the tentacles erupted from the round directly below them, and Robert went tumbling down below. His body slammed into the ground painfully, and then Jude's weight slammed into him immediately after, making him grunt loud and obnoxiously in pain. He tried to push the man off of him, but barely managed much before his body tensed up in pain. He was forced to lie back, relax, and catch his breath for a minute.
"Get off me.. please."

In a panic Mercedes shuffled through the snow still trying to get a better aim on the vile creatures. "Oh god- help!!" she cried out before Leon reared around. "We gotta get her out-" she whined but was amazed when he took his weapon to the nasty thing's.. flesh if you will. Hadjoc... felt jealous. A big strong shirtless firefighter...? Outshining him?
