Shun's eye narrowed at the Siren, though he soon winced from the movement. It caused a shift in his left side which did not feel all too good at all. Letting out a breath, he hissed as Isra didn't really help with his screech either. Though at least that was more to his ears than anything else.
"You don't have to be a killer, nor do you have to lay a finger or feather onto him.." he started. Though Isra got between him and the downed man, he didn't care. He could get around if needed. Right now, he was content with his spot on the ground anyway, relaxing until it was time.
"Halloween can't die.. Say that to Red. Oh wait. She's dead," he hissed, "Not to mention the weapons they use. That Kunai he used? It could have very well been some student just like you. Someone who wouldn't want to hurt or kill them. If we do not act, they will simply run us down. Peace. Is not an option. Not with them. You are naive to believe otherwise."

Christof gave an impatient whine, pulling out his small bone saw from his bag and giving it a wave.

(( HI I AM A PROXY POST FOR HUNI )) Huni Pi As the debate amongst the others raged on, the only thing on Tess' mind was "Whatever you decide, may I drink his liver first?"

Calder jerked back at Shun's tone, but there was enough yelling around to know what point was being made. Kill now. Kill later. Don't kill. Kill Slowly. Split the parts. There was a lot on the table. Too many opinions and the guy wasn't even AWAKE yet.
He did however look to Invictus. "Honorable death?" He had to smile at that. "I don't think I want to give him that, but death in the end, I agree with." For once he looked to Christof's saw and rolled his eyes. Still, if dividing the boil meant the boil wouldn't be coming back in any shape or form that resembled the Hunter in their world, then he was fine with that too.
"Israfel, we can die. Even worse, we can become weapons. Weapons that were used to hurt us. Look." He gestured to Shun and Hel. "He did that while smiling. Now tell me he wouldn't have killed them if given the chance? The reason he showed up was to take a horsemen. To kidnap another one of us and take them from their home. That Hunter already had his evidence against him." He shook his head and stayed near the Hunter, waiting for him to wake up.

"If we kill this one," She was speaking softly into the com link, pulling her legs up to her chest and hugging them with an audible sigh, "We'll anger and upset the rest of them. They killed Red. So we kill this one. We killed this one, so they'll kill another one of ours. They killed another one of ours, so we'll kill another one of theirs. Maybe one day our children will be the ones to kill, and their children will be the ones to hunt our children, huh? But if we let it go, it will come back to haunt us, no doubt."
She paused, looking at Invictus with a rather neutral expression, "I wonder if that's how they see us. Halloweeners are just like cattle. Kill one and there'll be more to replace it." Standing up, she gently pushed Israfel away to poke the hunter on his cheeks, "No matter what we do, we won't end the war, just contribute to it. Bul, Israfel and myself might be against it, but if the majority wants him dead, so be it." Was she... Tearing up?
"It'll just be something we'll all have to take responsibility for, despite where your own moral compass lies," At this she looked at Israfel, wondering if it might be easier for him to dissipate right now rather than having to watch the end of this little mission, and then at Bul, wondering if his heart was as heavy as hers was, "But the objective of our mission was to retrieve information and we need to do that first."

Shehk winced. She knew about Israfel's pacifistic views on things. Even she had her own views on things. However, Shun's words about Red seemed to injure the pricolici in a different way, frowning as her hand went to the bracelet she wore even then, running her fingers over it. Even the scar on her back burned with an ache of familiarity.
She didn't know what she thought about the kill v don't kill debate. It was a moral dilemma. The hunter was just a human. There were more where he came from. More who would possibly feel the ache of him missing, that same ache she was reminded of whenever she touched that bracelet she wore, the burn on her back... even a glance towards Jericho.
No, she couldn't decide what to do, just frowning more, squeezing her sleeve tightly.

Christof finally gave an exasperated sigh before tucking the saw under his arm to free up his hands. He cleared his throat, hoping to get Calder or Amrita's attention for translation before very pointedly signing out slowly:
"Killing-pointless. Won't-talk-if-he-knows-he-will-receive-the-end-death-brings. Won't-talk-if-he-knows-we-kill-him. Make-him-beg-for-it, but-we-won't-give-it. Send-him-back-to-humans. Spread-Fear. Make-us-stronger-through-Fear. Every-night-when-he-tries-to-sleep-in-what-is-left-of-his-Assembled-Parts, All-the-fear-for-us. Other-humans-see-what-we've-made-of-him, We-gather-up-their-fear-too. Become-stronger. We-must-make-them-afraid-of-us. They-are-not-afraid. That-is-the-problem. That-is-why-we-are-weak-to-them."

The siren let out a screech. Wings unfurling. "THEIR WRONGS DO NOT MAKE OUR ACTIONS RIGHT!" Claws had begun to elongate, feeling the need to make himself ready. He did not like this. "Red- Do you think Red would want us to kill in her name? To have us kill and say it was for her?" He didn't think she would. She had- He hated that memory. He repressed those memories. Those feelings. "Red wanted to keep us safe. She- she would have killed us in the end just like any other hunter. But she didn't want to. She wanted to keep us safe. We saw how it happened."
They saw the weapon consume her, how she returned, how she had suffered. How in the end- in the end she only wanted to keep them safe. It was Invictus who had the one thing Israfel might understand. Honorable death he understood. At one point, that would have been his fate.
"You do not need to tell me of what can happen. You do not need to tell me of what they are. Of what he looked like." Claws flex experimentally. "I do not forget what I see. I do not like it, so I do not listen to it." Another glance at Invictus. Out of all of them he knew the most about hunters. He knew them better for death or not. ".......Ask for our answers. If he wishes an honorable death he can have it, but ONLY an honorable death. But to use him and kill him would make all you no better than them. You don't even want to give them a chance..."
"Why do you want to keep fighting when you don't have to...." He looked at the floor, angry and upset. He was told they would ask the questions. Not that they would be killing. The pendant in his pocket he suddenly felt like this was not what they should be doing. They had gone to far. Israfel was feeling regret.

It was Amrita's attention that Christof caught, and the Vetala stared at him as he started to sign his opinion.
...She didn't like the way it started out, but something told her to be honest about what he was saying.
"Christof says..." And then she translated the entire thing, as close to word-for-word as she could get. There were dramatic pauses - though they weren't meant to be, as she was merely trying to remember the word the gesture meant - and slight reconstruction of words, but the meaning was there as Christof intended. "And that's why we're weak to them." She finished, and a sort of thoughtful calm washed over her.
Make them afraid of us, huh...?
Israfel started talking though, and her hackles once more raised. "Give them a chance to what? Suddenly go 'OH, WE WERE WRONG'?! It's not going to happen, it's never going to happen!" She growled at him, her hands once more clenching. "I want to keep fighting because I want to live."

Jericho glanced between everyone, and heard Christof's input on it. Grimacing, he let out a huff.
"Well then everyone just shut the ******** up and we'll continue this talk after we're through with him," he snarled. He wanted to rip the guy piece by piece but no doubt the hunter would come around sooner or later.

Most of Xiu's anger had ebbed away by this point, her expression more tired than anything. It seemed like there was no way to settle this matter in a way that everyone would be satisfied with. Some wanted his head (or rather, his arms), while others wished for him to go unharmed. Now that she had a little time to mull over everything and listen to both sides of the arguments, it was clear to the baku that there were obvious problems with both of these choices. Which of the two was the lesser evil?
Was there a lesser evil?
She looked towards Amrita when the ghoul began to translate for Christof, knitting her brows together in concern. Yes, Fear was good, but..."The last thing I want to do is to give the Hunters another reason to go after us right now. Maybe they're used to losing people, but if they feel that they're being threatened..." They had seen what these Hunters could do. It took SEEDS just to take down this one--what would they do if they sent a group of Hunters after them?
The baku stiffened at Jericho's words, pressing her lips together tightly. She murmured a tight, "No point in torture. If it has to be done, do it fast" before drawing back.

Mac had been there the whole time, really. When it came down to it, this ethics debate was really not something he was interested in; either way it was a vicious cycle, and no matter what they did they'd get attacked. Frankly he was all for the KILL THE BEAST option, but...Lizzy was definitely not, and her obvious pain was enough to make him stay quiet on the issue.
Besides, everyone else was being nice and clear about it.
He walked over towards his ghoulfriend, taking a moment to press his hand against her upper arm as he stood behind her.
"Hey, come on, once we get the information we can just leave...whatever happens after that is not your concern." He suggested quietly, his gaze flicking towards Hel and Shun; he wished there was something he could do for them.

"Mac..." Lizzy turned around and hugged her boilfriend, and somehow, that calmed her down enough for her to glance at the hunter and remember that they still have things to do; she wondered what his stand on this was, but since he wasn't saying anything... Maybe he was against it?
"Like Jericho said, enough of the debate. We need to organize ourselves..." She took out her skelephone, realized that it was waterlogged, and sighed, reaching into Mac's pocket to get his phone instead.
"Passing this around, you may add one question to it," She opened up a new note, and passed the phone to the next person, "Don't repeat the questions."

Shun had fallen silent for a bit as he just dealt with the pain in his face and listened to the others. They were going around in circles and Christof brought up a rather valid point. Grimacing, he saw Lizzy work with her phone so that they could bring up a questions list.
"Someone write a question for name and rank for him. So we can get an idea of where he stands among the hunters. No doubt if he's at the bottom he'll have less information."

Christof waited a moment before finally snatching the phone, Igor Impulses too strong to ignore. Shun's question typed up quickly, he added his own before glancing around for anyone else who had something to ask. They needed to get through this drudge work quickly. questions 1. Name and Rank 2. Job as a Hunter
