Damien opened one eye as she continued on with his question about the nature scene. She was still standing in front of him, and when she put on a friendly smile. He rolled his eyes. "You are really bad at acting," He said quietly, seeing her sit down beside him. He didn't say anything else, knowing she was playing along with it. "It sure is, isn't it?" He tried to act like her friend and not like her lover. He was about to say, but you're more than that, but he bit his tongue, refusing to give in. He saw her change her pose and cross her legs. Disappointment and grief flashed in his eyes briefly, but he covered it up with a fake smile of his own. He wanted to move closer to her, but he knew that was just what she wanted; for him to confess he needed her now. He stood up, again forcing himself to put his hands behind his back instead of reaching out to take her hand like he so wanted to. "We should take a closer look. Shouldn't we? There is a little path we could go down there on." He didn't lose his smile as he waited for her to answer him. He knew more than anything it was just as hard for her not to touch him as it was for him to not touch her.

Della watched Damien watching her. "You're not very good yourself." she replied, smirking. When she noticed him playing along, she smiled the friendly smile again. She stood after he mentioned the pathway. She was aching by now; aching to grab his hand, not to mention, a few other things. She stopped and breathed deeply though it was barely audible and put her hands in her pockets. "That sounds like a lovely idea. It should be nice. We'll have a better view." She smiled and started walking, brushing against him as she passed. Even that sent shivers up her spine, and she wondered how he was reacting.

Damien grinned ear to ear when she mentioned he wasn't good at acting either. He saw her put her hands in her pockets and he instinctively did the same, thinking it was a good idea. He started to walk away from the park, too much aware she was right beside him. He took a deep breath and glanced at her, giving her a hard smile. Behind it was agonizing pain; he wanted to touch her, feel her, know her, love her more than anything in the world at that moment. He felt her casually brush up against him, and he bit the right inside of his cheek hard, tasting blood. He had to remain calm, had to. He wasn't going to let her win. But his body responded despite what he thought and he felt his heart speed up, and he was restraining himself not to jump on her at that moment. He pushed a groan down that was trying to escape his mouth. What was she trying to do, that she-devil? Kill him? He thought, pain in his eyes. He wanted to touch her so bad at that moment, it was inhumane. He pushed his hands into his pockets deeper, closing his eyes a few seconds before reopening them. He saw the path up ahead and nodded his head to it, turning his eyes to her slowly. "It's just up there," He said, trying to sound like it hadn't bothered him. But it came out more of a squeak, and he grew frustrated. She was better at this then he was! He walked by her, taking his hands out of his pockets and let his hand touch hers for not even a second before moving on quickly, wanting to see how she would put up with that. He slowed down a bit, pointing to where it was, giving her a lopsided grin on purpose.

Della was enjoying this litte game they were playing; she honestly felt that she wasn't that bad at it either. She glanced back at him and noticed that he looked a smidge like...he was in pain. She grinned to herself and then felt his hand touch her's. OH, HOW DARE HE?! She wanted to attack him and kiss him and...She cleared her mind as she looked at that grin on his face. Oh, he was good. But she was going to be better. "Oh okay." She smiled and went beside him. She ran her fingers through her hair and the breeze worked with her, making strands of it caress his shoulder. She walked in front of him like she'd done nothing wrong. "Oh, this is a small path.."

Damien could feel her gaze on him, but he only smiled at her, showing what he hoped was an emotionless expression. He waited, and felt her come closer. No, don't..his mind trailed off as he watched her run her fingers through her beautiful hair. His eyes widened when he felt some of the strands touch his shoulder. He turned quickly away from her, biting his lip hard, drawing blood once again. He was breathing irregularly now, his mind fantasizing what he would do to her for revenge. Oh, you just wait. These thoughts made him feel better and he forced the smile back on his face, but his anguish was clear this time. "Yes, it sure is." They were close to the lake now, only a few inches from the edge as they walked along it. Suddenly he got a brilliant idea, and he grinned mockingly as he said, "Perfect day for a swim, isn't it?" He didn't wait for her to answer, but took a step closer to her, picking her up, -which did not relieve some of his want for her like he thought it would, but made it worse- and threw her into the lake, stepping back so she couldn't pull him in. He had thrown her far enough out so she didn't hurt herself, but not close enough she could crawl back fast. "You will lose, Dell!" He laughed to himself. He loved this plan, and knew it wasn't over yet.

Della watched Damien, enjoying the want in his eyes. She was startled when he abruptly grabbed her and tossed her into the water. She gasped and heard him say that she would lose. She swam back to the shore and stood; she was soaking wet. This was exactly what she needed. She put on the best puppy-dog look she could. "Damien...look at me. I'm drenched." she whined. She moved closer to him and closer still until she was standing a few feet away. "I have to walk home like this...What if it gets colder...I could freeze.." She held up her hand and flicked water at him.

Damien grinned when he heard her gasp and couldn't help laughing at her when she stood up back on land, her clothes drenched and her hair stuck to her clothes with water. He instantly softened and bit his lip with guilt once he saw the look she gave him and whined. Others would have thought it was annoying, but he thought it was more adorable then anything. He could see her move closer to him, and he almost picked her up and snuggled her close to his chest. But when she flicked water at him, it woke him up from his dream more forcefully then if she would have dumped a bucket on him instead. "Guess you do have to walk home then," He said, his bright smile coming back as he gazed down at her. "Or we can go out into the sun again instead and have you air dry." He smirked, but noticed how her shirt clung to her skin in just the right ways. He shivered, shaking his head. No, he wouldn't look at her. He turned quickly and went up the walk. "Let's go then, this trail leads back out into the park. It's like a circle. We need to get you dry as soon as possible." Before you kill me with the way you look, he thought, his breathing deep again as he tried to focus.

Della smirked. Damien was really good at this. By now, she was wondering if he could feel the want eminating from her. How could he be so cruel!? She quieted her thoughts; she would win this battle. "The air drying idea sounds good. I can air dry and we can still enjoy the nature around us." She stressed the word on purpose. She walked passed him and continued down the path while wringing her clothes out. Resisting the urge to run back and jump him, she kept walking. She then stopped, turned around, and smiled at him. "We can do this all day." she said, the statement full of insinuations.

Damien nodded when she agreed with his air drying suggestion. He knew it would back fire, because he would have to see her in wet clothes longer, but going to the house meant certain death for him; it would be over because he wouldn't be able to take it any longer once he saw the couch or the bed. He bit his lip once more when she walked past him, knowing she was doing that on purpose. When she stopped, he shifted uncomfortably, and raised his eyebrows at her in response to her next comment. He grinned, and winked at her. "Same here, Dell. Same here." He meant it in different ways too, and hoped it would do something to her. He once again stuffed his hands in his pockets to resist the urge and went beside her, undressing her with his eyes. He grinned at the image and quickly turned to look ahead, so he wouldn't do anything stupid and lose the game.

They walked down the path in silence. The way Damien had answered her question had made her want to just give up, say he won, and then have him all to herself. Now he was just being unfair. He's probably getting me back for touching him. She imagined scenarios that could take place when they went back to the house, and that made her cheeks turn bright pink. She glanced at him and noticed he was simply looking in front of him. How was he so calm? Was he not dying like she was? She looked forward and noticed a few stray people on the path. One guy looked at her in a way that made her wish Damien hadn't thrown her in the lake. He winked as he passed and Della just smiled half-heartedly in response. She turned her attention back to Damien who was still looking in front of him. Could he really keep this up? Probably.

Damien glanced at her every so often, and frowned when he noticed she seemed to be thinking. He wondered what she was thinking about but his question was somewhat answered when her face turned a bright pink. He grinned, trying to look like he didn't care, but was being torn apart inside for every second of not touching her. Damien noticed a guy that was looking at Della the way he should have been only. He glared at the guy, and knew if he was still a Demon he would have already jumped him, his eyes turning green to red in just a flash. He smiled, imagining how he would kill him in his head. He shook it out of his mind, frowning. He thought he was human, and didn't think like that anymore. Obviously, things had still stuck with him. He just settled on shooting the guy a look that said, 'She's mine, stay away or else', as he passed. He was thinking the same thing Della was; wishing he hadn't thrown her in water. He again turned to stare in front of him, and noticed that they were getting close to the park, which wasn't far off. He lifted his chin and felt proud of himself for holding out this long, but it was also helping by not staring at Della; especially at the front of her. "I'm going to win," He mumbled under his breath, giving her a smug smile.

Della heard Damien's comment and she saw the smug little grin on his face. She looked at him and thought for a second. Should she switch up the act? She definitely wanted to make this hard on him; she was not going to go down without a fight. She sped up a little bit and then moved to walk in front of him. Her clothes were drying, but they were still clinging to her. She quickly spun around to look at him. "Oh, my little demon. You. Wish." She said the last two words in a seductive yet challenging voice and then turned around again. He was sooo not going to win.

Damien noticed her now speed walking as she moved in front of him. Instantly his eyes were drawn to her clothes, and he bit his lip hard once more. He tried to remember how to breathe as he rolled his eyes at her response. "What do you mean I wish? It's already happening." He grinned, trying to avert his eyes from her and focus on something else. He could hear her seductive tone and saw her turn back around. He breathed through his nose again, and sighed. He mentally kicked himself. She was trying to work him up, but it wasn't going to happen. He went up beside her once again and spoke in her ear, using a sexy, low voice as he said, "I know you want me, Dell. Just come out and say it, give it up. You know you can't win." He nibbled on her ear before slowing down and falling back behind her, giving himself a mental thumbs up. Another point for me, he thought proudly.

Della rolled her eyes when Damien declared he was already winning. She was about to protest, but then she felt him next to her, his voice in her ear. Her breathing halted and her body burned. That little cheater! It took everything she could to keep from dragging him back to that house. She couldn't speak, not yet. I want to give up.. She just wanted it to be over and she wanted him. She took a deep breath and exhaled. She still couldn't speak, she would say exactly what he wanted to hear. She felt him move away, after nibbling on her ear of course. Cheater!!! she mentally screamed. Oh, he was in for it now. She turned around and walked up to him, halting his movements. She cupped his face and then whispered in his ear. "You will lose." She then gave him a swift kiss on the neck and began walking again.

Damien could see her try to gather herself up from his latest doings and he hid a grin, knowing he would win. It was just a matter of time, he thought anxiously. He grew more nervous than ever when she turned toward him and began walking back. He stumbled a few steps back, physically and mentally trying to prepare himself. He stopped for a moment, and felt her take his face in her hands. He closed his eyes as she whispered in his ear and gave him a kiss on his neck. Right then he wanted to grab her and run to the house, throw her on the couch..He shook his head, trying to clear the thoughts. "Good try, Dell. But not good enough." He watched her begin walking, trying to steady his breathing again. He was dying, aching for her. For now his fantasies would have to suffice. He didn't let her get too far ahead of him, but came up from behind and grabbed her, almost shoving her up against the bark of a tree. He put his hands on either side of her head and moved his lips against the line of her jaw, his breathing once more irregular as he pulled back, giving her a charming smile. "Give up, Della. I know you can't take much more..just say it." He kissed her neck slowly, holding her in his grip for a few more seconds. He quickly moved back and continued walking, as though nothing had happened other than the grin on his face.
