Kasie was inwardly drooling at all this mention of delectable food! It was just one cake, but even that had her craving away. Even Renivere's seriousness about the snails couldn't bring her down. "Girls against guys sounds like a great idea! This will definitely be epic." She eagerly beamed, excited for this fun, except.... what was going to happen to whatever dish they produced? What if it was extremely delicious, and everyone got to partake in it? Nooooo! That wasn't fair! She couldn't eat, and she certainly didn't want to suffer watching them chow down. When everything was settled and no one was looking, she definitely had to steal those dishes.

No, no. She shouldn't be jealous. This was the price that came with being with dead, and quite frankly, it was worth it even if she had to sacrifice all that yummy food. She refocused her attention back on the girls. "Well, since it's just a friendly little competition, I'd say the prize would be the glory of boasting. If not, we can always have losers eat their own dish if it turns out to be really bad. Anyway, what should we make though?"

For a second there Rosalynda thought the girl was saying that the losers would have to eat actually eat the dish, But that made no sense.

Rosalynda tilted her head back, thinking about the dish they should make. Did both teams have to make the same dish? If so what is an easy dish. She couldnt think of something besides that it should be something sweet."It should be some kind of sweet. like cake or cookies or even brownies." Rosalynda sighed, that was the best thing that she could come up with and personally it didnt sound good to her.

"Shawn? I see. In that case, it is nice to meet you." Sethrian rifled in a drawer for a small pad and pencil, a little...uncomfortable by how close the other boy kept standing to him. He despised people with no sense of personal space. However, in an effort to be 'nice,' Sethrian said nothing. He simply scrawled the ingredient list for the frosting and handed it over to him. "Don't over do the rum. It is intended to be subtle rather than overpowering.

"I'm afraid that the male team is at a slight disadvantage number-wise, yes," Sethrian said. "Though to be fair, I've been the only male in the class until this point. Nevertheless, I'm quite a skilled cook and the more chefs, the greater the chance someone will ruin the recipe. From that perspective, one could consider a smaller team to be an advantage rather than the other way around."

He set out the ingredients and necessary bowls, pushing some of the tools toward Sani. He set out the walnuts and grinder for Louis to take care of, and began to get the other ingredients ready for the cake. As he went to preheat the oven and prepare the pans, he said to Sani, "How long have you been at Rosentale? If I'm not mistaken, I believe I saw you during the lantern festival?"
