Suzanne stepped onto the beach. Ichirou promised her he would take her here but she was tired of waiting to be brought here and came by herself. She will learn everything to do with the beach so she could make sure to have more fun with more people. She had heard that the beach was fun.

People were about and Suzanne watched idly, looking for a stupid action to happen. A trip or fall, a stumble or bumble, a crash in a rock or a fall in a puddle. Suzanne was used to watching those kinds of things alone, but giggling to herself had lost its fun.

Suzanne frowned. Well then, today she will be a stupid person. She ran to a beach hut to go buy herself a beach ball. Yes. A beach ball she will throw at unsuspecting, boring people.

Louis went down the path to the beach, in his finest beach going attire. The striped one piece outfit looked a bit silly, but Louis didn't mind. He enjoyed the fashionable stylings of it. Well! It had seemed quite a party had been going on at the beach. Whether formal or informal there was a grand amount of people, and women to sneak ganders at.

Louis took in the surroundings. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing, and there was this nice little shop set up there. Maybe he could buy a volleyball or something, or join in a game with others. The only problem that presented itself now was who to talk to. He didn't want to wait for someone to come to him on the beach, nor did he want to interrupt anyone (considering there were men here who could probably throw him rather far into the water).

For the moment he set down his beach towel, and laid back for a moment on it, just enjoying the fact he could relax.

”If we see you smoking
We will assume you are on fire

His hand sanitizer! No! Cyrus was almost about to snatch it back when he caught himself. Why did he almost fight over a stupid bottle? Well, it was very comforting to have around and all, but still, that wasn't normal. Now, Cyrus was completely normal, so that internal conflict never happened.

As they both walked to the beach, Cyrus couldn't help but grimace in regret. Why did he have to blurt out beach again? He wasn't even prepared to go. Then again, everyone was just said at the spur of the moment. He wasn't going to take it back though. Especially since he finally had someone to go with him. He looked over at Gad and asked. "Do ya think we should go buy some supplies first before we actually go onto the beach? I reckon that we should."

There was a beach hut close by, and there was no way that Cyrus was going near the sand in just shoes. So, he was going there whether Gad wanted to or not. Hopefully, he'd follow though?

And take appropriate action.”

Tarik had been so confused with what she was telling him that he had let her drag him along like a ragged doll. He must have been standing dumbly waiting for her--after he had tried so hard to impress her with his geniusness too--and she eventually returned with... odd clothing.

Tarik shrugged. He shall play along to humor her then. "Alright. I will put this on and whenever you need me, I shall always come running!" Tarik said with a toothy grin and then he disappeared behind a curtain--only to be shoved out by a screaming woman. Tarik gave her a glare of annoyance and entered another one and shoved the man inside out. Thee was a small commotion and a slamming door and Tarik changed in peace.

He awkwardly walked out, holding his clothes in his arms. He walked ver to Angela and a few of his blazer and belt slipped out and plopped onto her feet. In his desperate attempt to catch them, all the clothes in his arms fell out. "s**t..." Tarik cursed under his breath.

"Er... what now?" Tarik asked. He was looking for a servant who could go put his clothes in a better place and not on his beloved's feet.

((I'm so sorry for the late post! D= If I make you wait, you are free to ditch me whenever. ))

Penelope let go of Susan's sleeve as they reached the water's edge. The ocean mist was cool, and made her shiver a little. Well, this would certainly be far enough. She turned to Susan and motioned her to follow. "C'mon." She said. "Let's head up that way. It doesn't really look like you came to the beach prepared to swim anyways... huh?" She started heading back up to warmer sands, automatically going to shove her hands in her pockets... but realizing uncomfortably that her current attire didn't really have much in the way of storage. Ugh, what was even the point of wearing such short shorts? The girl at the store had said that they looked cute, and... well... Penelope had to admit that she agreed, but they were just... impractical.

"Ah... So Susan... What brings you to the beach?" Penelope said after a brief silence. "Obviously, you're not here to swim. I mean, neither am I but... well, you get the question." She glanced out away from the ocean, an oddly dressed boy catching her eye. He looked like he was dressed in a swim suit from the fifties... well, the design looked fifties-ish for sure. She blinked. Wait... was that Lois? That was definitely Louis. Well... maybe she'd see if Susan wanted to go over and say hi in a minute. Penelope wasn't really some sort of social butterfly, but she liked to see her friends.

”I hate bathrooms. They’re the worst.
Male or female. What’s the difference?
There’s stalls for privacy,

The beach? Wasn't that a giant sandbox? That's what it appeared to be like from what he saw on T.V. Clearly, that was partly true once he actually did see the beach after being dragged by this blonde boy, but it was horrifying. There was a vast stretch of blue off to the distance, and he finally remembered that there was another part to a beach. That was water. Lots and lots of water. With a soft squeak of a "S-Sorry!", Snyder immediately brushed off this guy's arm in order to run away to safety.

Susan Chang

They reached the edge of the water. Susan held up her dress which revealed her pale legs and feet. Her toes were just touching the water. It was cool, sending shivers down her spine. Then Penelope signalled her to come with her. "Okay" she said and eagerly followed the girl.

Swimming. Something Susan wouldn't mind doing. "I dont own any swimmers.. But I would like to swim sooner or later. But I don't know what types there are.. Do you?" Susan asked Penelope and noticed she wasn't dressed for swimming either.

Angela shook her head slightly, watching Tarik terrify and annoy the other people at the changing rooms. She would have thought the little sign of a woman indicated he shouldn't use that room. But then, she was also pretty sure that woman was going to be locking her door going forward.

At any rate, he re-emerged in a few moments changed, carrying his clothes, and looking bewildered. "I'll take them," Angela said, bending to retrieve the things he'd dropped, as well as the things in his arms. She carried them over to her towel, folded them, and placed them in her bag along with her own things. She was slightly amused, hearing him curse for the first time as well.

She wondered who'd taught him that word. She snatched a hair tie from her bag and stood, heading back to Tarik. "Well, there's the ocean. I think we should go, you know, frolic in the water and such," she told him, tying her hair back and looping it over several times to get it off her back and shoulders.

"Come on," she told him, taking his hand (but being careful not to pull on his arm--no ripping body parts off today, thank you) to lead him toward the water. "Do you know how to swim at all?" She saw a nearby group of girls oggling Tarik's abs and smirked up at him. "Show off," she teased, in spite of the fact she'd made him change in the first place. She dropped his hand and grinned up at him as she backed away.

"Tarik--think you can catch me?" she teased. She broke into a sprint to the water. Since they usually were working when they saw each other, it wouldn't hurt to play around a little this time.

Tarik had to pause because he had to figure out the right thing to say about this. Obviously 'about time' is not the way to say it. He would have said it to a servant, but Angela was no servant. Even thought it was odd she was even offering. However, he will not object, since he didn't know where to put them anyways and he was a bit weary about letting other servants that he didn't know very well touch his clothes. Poisoned needles are bad. "Thank... you." Tarik said with a slight frown since he was only used to thanking others when they save his hide and not over... over trivial things like this.

"Of course I know how to swim! I have swum in the entire Nile before." Tarik boasted proudly. Hmm... that might be a bit of an exaggeration. Well, backtracking and correcting himself didn't seem like a cool move so he would just leave it at that.

"Show off? How am I--" What now? It was a game of catch? Well he could do this. But he figured humoring her would be the best way to go about this. He will pretend not to catch her.

"I am running now. After you." Tarik said as he lazily dashed after Angela. He wasn't sure why she wanted him to try to catch her. Perhaps there was some kind of meaning to this? Tarik will figure it out later and ask her. Or she could be making it a training exercise for him. Why, how considerate!

Simon frowned at the odd girl, raising a brow when she explained herself. She went to Zhori's class... as a man? He could only think of a few possibilities, and none of them were very pleasant to think too hard about. Drag queen, tranny, or part toad? It sounded like a horrible game show to him. He nodded when she apologized, understanding that she just wanted to say hi to her teacher. But then another student came.

He wasn't too bothered by the seemingly never ending interruption, actually glad that he was meeting a few students who didn't hate his guts. But then Zhori jumped up to her feet and he gave her a very confused look. It quickly dawned on him that she was shooing them away, and that bothered him a bit. But he didn't say a word about it, because he certainly didn't object to them running around and screaming 'shark!'. Too bad they didn't actually do that.

"Um, hi," He replied rather awkwardly when Zhori came back, still disappointed that she shoved them away like that. She had good intentions, but he still found it a bit rude. He made sure to wave at the two as they walked away even if they didn't see it, using them as a distraction so he wouldn't end up complaining.

Penelope gave Susan an embarrassed look. "You don't know what type of swimmer- ah... Bathing suits there are?" She said, almost repeating Susan's term for swimming attire, which, by the way, she had never heard before. That was rather strange. Had she perhaps, had a sheltered childhood? No no, that didn't really make sense, she would still know about swim suits. Maybe she just hadn't lived anywhere near water?

"Ah... well ah..." Penelope blushed. "There's the ah, the one piece suit. Pretty er, self explanatory if you ask me... Then there's the, the two piece, or bikini... um, also fairly self explanatory. Some girls... some girls do the whole top piece and swim trunks thing I think... Those are the more common types." She went to shove her hands into her pockets again... still no pockets. Right. She took a seat in the sand, looking out on the ocean. "Um... my brother knows a little more about that sort of thing than I do." She said. It was the truth, even if it currently sounded incredibly ridiculous.

"Do you swim as slow as you run? Because if so, it probably took quite a long time to make it all the way down the Nile" Angela said over her shoulder, kicking up sand as she ran. She shot him a grin as she put on a fresh burst of speed. Angea was pretty sure Tarik was letting her win but she didn't really care as long as she got to the water first so she could splash him into next week. He was so...serious. Well, not serious, exactly. But he definitely needed to loosen up a little and have some fun. She was determined to...to...get him into a water war or something!

Angela dashed into the water, heading in until it was about to her knees before she turned around, and kicked a huge splash of water in the direction she assumed Tarik would be if he was still running after her as he had been earlier.

Susan Chang

Bathers. Penelope called them bathers. Maybe Susan had used the wrong term, she knew how to swim, but usually swam in her clothes. Susan nodded as Penelope listed the different types of bathers there were. Susan liked the one peice and the two piece. Swimming with clothes got heavy and annoying when it stuck to your skin. "Ooo. The one piece and two piece sounds gooood" Susan said and smiled. "Do you have any bathers?" she asked curiously and sat down next to the girl.

Susan wanted a set of bathers now. It would be much better than swimming in clothes, Susan thought. Apparently, Penelope's brother knew more about girl bathers, than what Penelope did. Weird..

"I wonder." Tarik said with a grin. Tarik managed to stumble out of the way before his face got a load of sand. He wasn't used to beach sand, but he figured it tasted just as bad as desert sand. He then resumed his chase after Angela, making sure to not be directly behind her this time. She had picked up her pace to make the training more difficult. However, the training suddenly changed when she attacked him with water. Tarik gave a surprise look and shook himself from the sudden burst of cold.

"What is this? Running in water? That is a very difficult feat! Unless we are swimming?" Tarik asked as he waded into the water. It felt nice int he sun anyways.

"Running in water is good exercise though. I will be sure to tell Akito this. He is my co-worker and is good at picking out curtains." That was another exaggeration. Tarik was certain Akito knew as much as he, but as he thought before, thinking back and correcting himself did not seem like a cool thing to do.

Zhori

Zhori frowned slightly as she watched the two girls walk off and eventually meander away and sit. Without yelling shark. Well. Hrmph. No extra credit for them! Not that she'd expected them to actually do it. But one could always hope. "No sense of adventure," she said, shaking her head.

"Sorry about that." She watched him wave to the girls and sighed, giving up on the idea of any semblance of romance on this date. Well, whatever. He never seemed that excited about it anyway. Instead, she laid on the blanket and looked overhead, staring into the sun for a long moment, contemplating how else they could scare someone on the beach.

Or maybe she should give up on the idea and let Simon fend for himself. Gah! She didn't know anymore.

She was...bored. Maybe this was why her brother always warned her about spending too much time with mortals.
