Rose Martin As Rose entered into the room, she was the only one who was there. There wasn't even a teacher. At this point, Rose was starting to wonder if this was the right class or not.

Zhori Zhori heard someone enter the music room and made her way out of the practice room she was lurking in. She set aside the musical score in her hands as she studied the unfamiliar student.
"Hello there, I'm Zhori. I teach music here. And you're not someone I recognize so I'm assuming you must be a new student? Welcome to the music room."
((Sorry I didn't post first. Hardly anyone shows up for Music most of the time. LoL))

Rose Martin As Rose was looking around the class room a woman came out, she introduced herself as the teacher. "Nice to meet you Zhori.. My name is Rose. Yeah, I am fairly new here" Rose said to her teacher and smiled.
(( Thats fine.. I've been out for most of the day anyways ))

Zhori "Alright, well next class, I'd like you to try to get here on time, since you were a little late today," Zhori said. "In the mean time, since class is over, I'll just give you a quick assignment to prepare for next time--something simple."
"Basically, I want you to choose an instrument to be your specialty while you're here. It can be something like piano or violin, or even your own voice. And I want you to try to assess what you think your current level with that instrument is and choose something to play for me to demonstrate your skill."
"And have it ready by the next time we see each other. Other than that, you're dismissed," she said, smiling slightly. "and I'll see you next time.
((Sorry they didn't get to really have class. Hopefully next time we get a little more synched up. ^^ ))

Rose Martin "Yes of course.. I will be prepared next lesson" Rose said to Zhori. Rose started to wonder what instrument she would play.. Piano maybe? Maybe even singing. Rose nodded and exited out to the schooll garden.

Tshila.Curari
"I'm in Quartz Dorm!" Tshila said. "And hey, I can help you switch if you want. You just have to look into my eyes, right? Oh! But, um, we can hang out outside the dorm too if you want? That way you don't have to change. I can always just go out the window. I mean, because, transforming seems like it kind of hurts you and things and I'd hate you to have to through that just to hang out and I don't mind hanging out with Percy instead of Penelope." She smiled in his general direction, still avoiding the eye contact thing as they walked.
"But it's your choice. I'm just kind of glad to meet someone who doesn't seem to mind being around me. I never had a problem making friends back home but here, people seem to not like me much. Not that I'm whining!" she added quickly. "I mean, it's cool. Everyone here seems nice and all that. It's just kind of sad that I've met a lot of people and I don't really seem to ever see them after the first meeting."
"Anyway, it's totally your choice...which, I kind of already said." She laughed a little as she paused in front of a closed door. "And this is the music room! I've never met the music teacher so I don't know what he or she is like but I hope they're nice and you have a great class. If you want, we can meet up at the student lounge after class. Then head to the dorm, or wherever!"

Percy Mikelovitch
...Doesn't mind being around her? Percy didn't think that Tshila was a very difficult person to be around. She was very talkative, but very nice, and the talking really didn't bother him one bit. Honestly, there were much more unlikeable sorts roaming the halls of this school, as he had already had the pleasure of finding out. He blushed slightly at her mention of his alter ego. Riiight... he certainly didn't want to inconvenience her, and being the gentleman that he was... currently, he wasn't about to make her go out of her way to hang out with a lonely sod like him.
""Changing" isn't without it's discomfort." Percy admitted carefully. "But I don't mind honestly... It's kinda just always been a part of life." He scratched the back of his head, abashed. There he went again, about to tell this girl his life story already. He really did get flustered too easily. "The dorm is fine, honestly! I'll um, see you after class... I look forward to it. Have fun in... potions was it? Yeah. Have fun!"
He smiled at Tshila, focusing on her left ear, before turning and heading into the classroom. There didn't appear to be anyone in the room just yet... Was he early? Percy shrugged, sticking his hands in his pockets as he strolled over to the nearest desk, placed his knapsack against its side, and sat down.

Zhori
"Well I'm glad someone finally showed up!" Zhori said when she heard some unfamiliar male voice, followed by footsteps and the sound of someone taking a seat. She popped her head up from behind an old upright piano in the corner and grinned at the student. She'd never seen him before but he looked sweet.
"Another newbie to the school? I'm Zhori, music teacher and I'm just finishing up tuning this lovely here. What's your name? Musical affinity? Instrument preference? Skill level? Basically, tell me about yourself and music and what you want to learn in this class and all that."
She ducked back down behind the piano, cleaning up her tools and getting everything closed back up so they could begin class. Incidentally, her classes had been extremely paltry of late. If anyone bothered to show up, it was usually just one person. She had no idea what happened to the rest of the students. Maybe they'd all been mauled by bears or something. Oh wait. It was winter...bears should be hibernating.
Maybe rabid sloths, then.

Percy Mikelovitch
"Um... Er..." Percy faltered for a quick second before regaining his composure. That was a lot of questions in a short amount of time!
"Let's see. My name is Percy Mikelovitch." He began. "As far as affinity, I prefer Classic and alternative rock mostly. Classical on occasion... like when it's raining or snowing outside. I play the piano mostly, though I have been known to pick up a bass on occasion, and I would say that as far as my skill level goes, I'm... adequate, at piano, and rather mediocre on the bass. As for what I was hoping to learn in this class... well, more about theory of course. Chord progressions, improving with people, all that good stuff."
He winced slightly. That had come out like the interests section of an online dating site. Well done, sounding like a computer....

Zhori
"Alright," Zhori said, popping up over the back of the piano again. She patted the top of the piano. "Well, come over and give me a demonstration. We're not going to get anywhere unless I hear you for myself." She dragged her things out from behind the piano and dusted herself off.
"Anyway, sorry about the lack of students. My classes tend to be a little hit and miss as far as attendance goes. Sad, but eh--what're you gonna do? It's good to meet you though, Percy." She motioned him to the piano and pulled up a chair. Hopefully he had a bit of talent for it. While theory and all that was good, she still needed to make sure the kid had at least some skill or talent for music. Otherwise this was going to be one boring class for him because she definitely preferred a more hands on sort of approach rather than learning facts from books.
In fact, she'd torched the books along with the curriculum at the beginning of the year.

Percy Mikelovitch
Percy stood and meandered over to the piano. He sat down quickly without looking at Zhori, and began to play... The fairy fountain theme from Ocarina of time. Soft and peaceful, the melody danced it's way out of the piano as Percy gently swayed to the rhythm of the song, before switching into an acoustic rendition of Anamanaguchi's "Dawn Metropolis" as the previous song ended. "Not that she will have ever heard either of these before." He thought to himself. "Maybe I should play something more recognizable..."
He finished with "Dawn Metropolis", and waited a few seconds before beginning Fur Elise. He wasn't as practiced at this song, but he was able to make it through with the notes all in the right places, and the melody sounding fairly decent. As he finished the song, he sat up straight, and slightly turned his body to Zhori, to await her critique.

Rose Martin Alas, it was time for music again. Rose was thinking about what the teacher had asked her to do. She thought maybe just sing it out. Twinkle twinkle little star of something, as long as it was simple. Rose had been told by her grandmother she had a lovely voice. Rose was now just hoping she wasn't saying it because she was her grandmother.
As Rose entered the room she could see some students. "Oh, hey.. Is this 5th period music?" she asked polietly and smiled. Rose recognised the girl, it was Tshila, from her astronomy class.

Zhori Zhori made a face when he started the first song. He played it well but the melody was just unpleasant. The second one, she didn't like either. He finally switched a classic by Beethoven, though his skill faltered a little with that one. She assumed it was due to lack of pactice more than lack of skill, though. "You're definitely talented," Zhori said. "Certainly at an intermediate level. So we can work more on fine tuning your skill than teaching you the basics."
"You said you like music theory--explain more about what you know in that area as well. Again, I don't want to cover things you already know. It's a waste of time. I prefer to tailor my students' lessons to what they need to learn rather than just forcefeeding a set curriculum."
"It keeps things more interesting."
((Red--I'm really confused. Did you alter Rose's schedule? She was here for third period Music on the 21st....and is now coming to fifth period music today. Which one is she supposed to be in? =w=;;; I'm not sure how to have her respond to Rose yet so please make sure you're in the right class before I reply since obviously Zhori would be surprised to have Rose in two of her classes. So clearly one of the days you were in the wrong place...))

Percy Mikelovitch
Percy pulled a face as he attempted to recall his music theory. "Well... I know which key's have which flats and sharps... Chords, what to do when you're told to add a seventh or a ninth or something... double sharps and double flats... Could use some work on transposition though. I can read sheet music, though I have to look at it and practice for a while before playing anything straight through... I also know a little about Harmonics... but not much."
He definitely liked Zhori's teaching method. He was a bit worried about whether he would be able to keep to whatever standard she had, but hey. He could always improve.
