After class many of the students dispersed. She didnt have anyone to train with so she decided to pick a seat outside the school and mentally go over martial art moves she had learned last year that were still new to her.

After art--during which she and Renivere took to painting the walls of the art class, Angela left to go clean up. She was covered in paint--it wasn't really intentional, but she was messy when she painted. She had to go wash up and change clothes at the beginning of study hall, but made her way back outside. Heading for her favorite tree, she pulled herself up into the lower branches and settled in to draw.
Now that autumn was fully setting in, the leaves hand gone red and orange. There were still some on the tree, but they were getting a bit sparse so she wasn't as hidden as she normally would have been. Maybe it would keep annoying weirdos from running into her legs and groping her feet this time.

Jukka had skipped class again. His chest was bothering him from all of the coughing. His ears twitched and he looked over, seeing Angela. "Oh, hey Angela!" He called lightly as he gave her a small wave. He stood and walked over, climbing up into the tree and sitting down on a branch next to her, "What are you drawing today?" he asked as he picked one of the orange leaves and held it to the sun, examining the veins.

Terra on a bench outside the school. It was a slightly breezy day and she was having a bit of trouble keeping her pages to lay flat. She had a stack of books by her side and three notebooks. Terra felt like she was behind in her class even though she hadnt even started half of them. She turned the page of one of her text books and copied something down vigorously.
It wasnt like she was a brown noser or a go getter. She just had to be prepared. What if her father called the headmaster one day to ask about my studies. Or what if something comes up and she needed the knowledge. She couldnt handle herself if she was labeled weak all because she didnt study.

"Nothing in particular," Angela said. "Well, I mean I am drawing something, obviously. But nothing interesting I guess?" She showed him a page that looked like it was mostly full of nonsensical scribbles. It might look a bit like some kind of bizarre graphite abstract or something..."I'm just sort of planning out some things? I sort of doodle these mini versions of what I have in mind, so I can play with composition an such, and get all that sorted before I start the real thing."
"Anyway..." She looked over at him and grinned. "I think you're the first person to ever just casually join me in a tree. All those cat climbing skills come in handy, I suppose. How are you feeling today?"

Jukka smiled and dropped the leaf he was holding, replacing it with a cigarette, "My chest has been kind of bothering me as of late.... " He replied as he lit up the cigarette and stuck it in his mouth. "Your a great artist Angel, I sure wish I could draw," he mused. Jukka's talent laid in the music portion of art. He could write songs and play almost anything on his guitar. He was also a very good singer. Jukka's tail swished back and forth and his ears were relaxed, showing his content mood.

Alec stepped outside, taking a deep breath of fresh air. He was exhausted, really. Why did he take the self defense course again? He groaned and rubbed his arms.
He stopped suddenly, sensing a familiar presence nearby. His eyes quickly darted over to a small, lovely, white-haired woman with a book in her hand.
"Angela," he breathed, then shook his head. She was really the only person he knew so far, and she seemed quite pleasant. Now if only he could speak with her.
He wasn't sure if he could interrupt her. She was talking with a cat-eared boy with an eye-patch. He seemed pretty content talking with her, and honestly didn't want to ruin the mood. He wanted to walk away, but there was a surge in his gut and he groaned slightly.
Perhaps infirmary was best... wait... didn't she warn him not to go there? Crap...
He closed his eyes.

"Because you smoke too much," Angela said worriedly. "You should try to quit, Jukka." She closed her sketch book and looked at him seriously. "You're young and you're already damaging your health with that habit. It isn't worth shaving years off your life is it? I don't know how long your people live but if it isn't forever, then you don't want to waste any time you have by being ill or going to an early grave."
"I mean...I know I should preach at you. I'm also still young. It just worries me. I don't like seeing you suffer."
She smiled and reached over to flick the top of his ear with her finger. "Besides, don't you know girls don't like kissing boys that taste like ashtrays? If you keep it up, when you find someone you like, it'll be a problem." She laughed, and opened her book again, starting to doodle further. "Though I wouldn't take that seriously. My experience with relationships is limited to watching faerie nobles frolick around during spring or whatever."
As she spoke, she felt a slight chill go down her spine as if someone was lurking nearby...thinking evil thoughts.

"My family is of the lower middle class.... whenever I was on the fishing vessel I smoked. Im not sure why.... though it may be because everyone else around me did as well. It's also kind of relaxing... and warm... " He replied. When she flicked his ear he blushed a very light shade of pink. His ear twitched. "Besides, is I decided to quit then I have no idea where I would start," he explained.
Jukka couldn't help but get the feeling that the two of them were being watched. His ears twitched as he listened to his surroundings. Jukka looked over his shoulder and noticed another boy, which made him grow a bit tense.

"Is that warmth worth your health?" Angela asked. She sighed, oblivious the fact that her ear-flick had elicted blushing. "I shouldn't harp on it. It just worries me. I don't have many friends so I suppose I have to fret over the ones I do have. Anyway, don't they have programs or something to help you quit? I don't really know much about it."
Faeries smoked but the results weren't the same, so quitting wasn't as much an issue. She glanced up at him, frowning when she saw him staring at something else. "What is it?" she asked, leaning around him to see what he was looking at. "Is someone---waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!" Her sketch book went flying as Angela lost her balance and slipped off the branch, plummeting toward the ground.
Well. That was just brilliant.

Alec paled as the cat-eared man turned to look at him and blushed, realizing he had been staring. Crap. He started to retreat when he spotted Angela turn as well, quite remarkably falling out of the tree.
Were Fae usually this clumsy? He didn't know why that was the thought running through his head, but either way, he was sprinting over to where she was, praying that she was all right.
He knelt over her. "Angela, are you okay?" he asked, feeling out of breath. Oh god, was this his fault? He paled at the thought. "Do I take you to the infirmary or is it really as scary as you said?" he asked in a panicked state.

Jukka was about to say something to Angela when she was startled and fell out of the tree. "Angela!" He jumped off of the branch he was sitting on and landed next to her, kneeling and touching her shoulders softly. "Are you alright!?" He asked, worried. He looked ar Alec and growled a bit under his breath, obviously a bit annoyed.

Angela lay there for a moment, stunned and breathless after having the wind knocked out of her. Coughing slightly, she blinked up, waiting for her vision to stop being so blurry.
"I'm fine," she gasped. "I think. I mean...nothing feels broken." She laid there for a long moment, catching her breath and waiting to see if anything started hurting. But it seemed like she had managed to get out of that one without being hurt. She sat up carefully, rubbing the top of her tailbone.
"I'm fine. Hey Alec," she said with a lopsided smile. "Um, this is Jukka. Jukka, Alec." She rotated her shoulders gently, glancing back at Jukka. "What were you looking at anyway?"

I'm just COOLER
than You!"  "Maybe I should go and find Ayu.." Timothy sighs while walking through the outsides. After a brief announcement regarding the upcoming ball, He's quite determine to ask her out to be his date. "What could I possibly tell her? after that stupid incident at the infirmary?!" Irritated, He messes up his hair. Darn it! though I tried to ignore her back at the training grounds! I can't still get her out of my head! I wonder what's wrong with me? His hand covered his flustered face. "Don't tell me?-----" CRAPPPP!!!! Do I like her this much!!!!Timothy suddenly stops walking, get hold into himself and take deep breaths. "Calm down, Timothy Fahrenheit. You're better than that. That girl is just an ordinary female and nothings wrong with you. Now, you have to think of something on how to ask her out." (exits to hallways)
