 Northern Ireland --Jack Kirkland-- Jack looked over at his sister huffing about as he grabbed a small piece of cake. "hmph. Her and her temper." Any thought of bothering her pretty much vanished from his head. Not because he didn't want her mad at him, but because he suddenly didn't want anything to do with her. He looked over the table again and noticed a bowl of cheese puffs. "Why is it," he said "tha' they always 'ave those things at any party? Like, no matter how fancy the party is, they always 'ave cheese puff ball things. It's weird." He took one anyway. "ack." it wasn't even the good kind. He figured he shouldn't just put it back, so he leaned on the table and nibbled at it halfheartedly, hoping it would go away eventually.

"There's always hell..." She mumbled in response to the states comment about heaven not wanting her. "I'm so scared." She mocked back that was pretty much the same thing she had told Lili not 5 minuets before. She liked Lili but couldn't stand Massy to think she could actually do any thing to her. Lili's ever present neutrality field magic had a different effect on the Irish girl (Tho not in a bad way), blending with her ever present magic field. "Excuse me Lili." And she walked past Massy to get a drink. Once at the food table she got a cup of punch and looked around and saw the person she wanted to talk to. He was standing off from the others much like she had been but for different reasons. She finished her drink and took a deep breath. "He'll probably say no, no big deal." She said quietly to herself. She completely ignored North who was standing not but a yard away.
(I have to work for 8 hours so I'll talk to 'him' if he's still there when I return home.)

North Carolina, USA Charlotte Wilson (Jones) FreshmanThe Carolina chuckled at the nation. "That you should.""I would love to visit your convention." she told her brother. Her eyebrow twitched over his comment. Charlotte smiled. "Oh, but darling, I believe your the one that's mistaken." This kind of situation was to be expected at some point from the states that founded America's two largest softdrink brands. "I seem to remember that time when you held the summer Olympics and Pepsi outpreformed your Coke, even though Coke was the Games Sponsor." ( Cola Wars) Charlotte just happened to turn around to see the mini fued between Ireland and Massy. She was happy to see her friend Lili was able to subside the two. Nearby she also saw North Ireland, and England not far away. The Carolina glanced to Andrew to make sure he was okay with the brit present. everyone is called 'darling', "yall" is a proper noun, sweet tea is the house wine, and you never EVER disrespect your elders...

There are 3 rules in this school 1. Don't run in halls 2. Get along with everyone 3. Survival of the fittest Arthur Kirkland Student Vice President Member of the Disciplinary Committee Junior "Blimey." the brit mumbled as they got closer to the table, he hadn't look to see who was by the snacks when his brother asked. Even if he was the only committee member closest to them, he couldn't guarentee that this wouldn't get ugly at some point. But he sensed the magic that the Liechtenstein was unaware of using. He smiled softly thankful she was around. If it wasn't for her brother he probably would of had her part of the committee but perhaps that wouldn't be right to send a charmful girl into bigger country feuds. Arthur looked to the state wearing an old outfit with a coon hat. He held very little emotion as he respond. "Evening."England didn't dare commenting about temper. He didn't understand the cheese puffs either. "An American thing, I suppose." it was very easy to blame things on him. (Out of Tea: "Him" ?) Mathias Køhler ~12th Grade~ KING OF THE SENIORS "Oh come on, Lukas. Don't you like my hugs?" He knew Lukas loved his hugs. All the time when they were alone, he would love to snuggle next to him.
Mathias saw that the Norwegian was playing with his camera. Why would he need it now? What could he possibly take a picture of? He would understand if there was some awesome costume, but anything else is just... weird.

 ⋆~Lukas Bondevik~⋆ The Only Junior With Common Sense Lukas looked up from the camera's screen for a moment just to answer the Dane's question. "I do like you hugs. Just not the ones when you try to strangle me." The Norwegian finally set the camera up and grabbed Emil's arm. He set his younger brother up next to Mathias. "STAY THERE." He brought the camera up and took the picture. He looked at the screen and saw the preview of the picture. "Bedårende....!" {{Out-Of-Oslo:}} {{Translations: bedårende = Adorable}}

 Tennessee had no idea how to read England's relatively emotionless response. The nation was hard for him to understand which was one reason why he'd never been able to warm up to him. The honest and simple state couldn't quite grasp the concept of someone being 'tsundere' as Japan might say. Maybe the lobster back didn't recognize him or at least couldn't remember who he was? That might be a good thing, actually. Andrew's expression turned to pure confusion and surprise when the nations started commenting on the cheese puffs. He thought the love of cheese puffs was universal. There was no one he knew that didn't like them. Of course, everyone he knew was American... Since their country had so many cultures thrown into the mix he was always surprised to find out what was uniquely Alfred's and what came from other nations. Apparently cheese puffs were a unique part of American culture. "Cheese puffs are American...?" he mused out loud as he studied the snack food with a new found respect. The state, without thinking, actually spoke to Arthur since this new revelation was more interesting than their not so friendly past. "Don'cha have cheese puffs at your place?"

"O' course they'd be american. Only somethin' tha' makes as little sense as these things could be." he wasn't directly adressing Tennessee, just commenting on what Arthur said. He decided that the cheese puff wasn't going to go away any time soon, so he just shoved it in his mouth all at once to get it over with. He made a face as he wiped the crumbs from his hands. "Not all o' them are bad, though. It's just 'ard to find any that're bearable."

 Tennessee's expression fell a bit when he heard Jack's opinion. He thought America made sense... usually. But a lot of things didn't make sense to him. It wasn't Alfred's fault. The state shifted uncomfortably and wondered if Northern Ireland was one of those people who made fun of Americans. He didn't mind being the butt of people's jokes within his own country, but when someone talked badly about America in general it bothered him. Andrew didn't object or verbally defend his nation and only glanced down at his snacks self consciously. Northern Ireland was a part of the UK so Charlotte probably wouldn't want him to argue with Jack, either.

Jack noticed the state shifting uncomfortably and smiled. "Hey, lighten up, pal. They're jus' cheesepuffs. It's no' like people judge ya fer how good yer snacks are." he decided to ignore what he knew people always said about Arthur's cooking.

 "But food is important," Tennessee blurted out a little too earnestly as he looked over at Jack. Getting together for dinners and barbecues was a large part of socialization from what he understood. To him the most important things in the world were eating good food and playing great music with others. He blushed a little when he realized he'd said something dumb sounding yet again. "I mean... a big part of why people like to get together is to eat food and stuff," he tried to explain himself. "It's part of makin' friends and meetin' people, isn't it?" Perhaps he was still too naive about how friendship worked for nations, but in his mind inviting people over for dinner was the best way to get along with someone.

Republic of Iceland -Ísland
The Freezing Junior Being caught off guard, Emil was set over to Mathias. "Lukas, what do you think you're-" Emil was cut off by Lukas as he was told to stay. He saw that his camera was out and sighed. "... Fine. Just make it quick." Before the Icelander knew it, the picture was taken and Emil could move again. He walked over to Lukas and looked at the picture preview. It looked nice, he had to admit. He just wished the didn't have to take another one.

 "That so..." Andrew mused and tilted his head to the side thoughtfully. He wasn't used to bad food since pretty much all of his neighbors knew their way around a skillet, but Tennessee figured he wouldn't like them any less even if they couldn't cook. "Yeah, I reckon that's true," the state finally agreed with a small but cheerful smile. "I still like my sister, Melody, just fine and I heard her cookin' could kill a man." He didn't realize that apparently her cooking style was heavily reminiscent of England's.

"I'm doing well, thanks." was her reply, a light blush coming to her cheeks when he hugged her tighter. She slipped out of his arms and looked around. "Sure is busy in here, huh?" She said lightheartedly, taking his hand in hers. Her gaze flickered around the crowd before looking up at Zeke expectantly. "Do you want to dance?" She asked with a slight smile.
