Yanmega. It was... neat.
A jet shaped like a dragonfly pokemon... She couldn't help but slightly wish it was much larger and space-capable, but that wasn't what they needed.
And she needed to get her arm bandaged.
Thankfully, she could already see that there were first-aid kits on-board...

She'd heard Faleen over the headset and then Kunai's shout and was thankful that she'd already been heading that way.
Tambrey made her way to a seat and then made her appeal.

"Anyone have a bandage, please? Got a... small, uh, cut." Why did she feel silly for asking? It was a legitimate injury that actually did need a little bit of attention.
It wouldn't be a problem; she just needed a clean and then a bandage over it and she'd be able to start trying to ignore the hole.

At the dialogue between Nyx and Faleen, Panther looked up "Welcome aboard Nyx." he gave her mock salute coupled with a smile.

A wail of despair caught her attention, and peeking out the door the grunt noticed a quite whiny Star begging for his life. How pathetic. That guy wouldn't last one day as a Rocket Trainee with that sniveling attitude. But, as they've learned, this wanna-be team of misfits didn't have any where near the standards Team Rocket held.

Rolling her eyes, she turned her attention to the girl who just asked for a bandage. "Oh, jeeze." Luxury grabbed a kit, taking out gauze and antiseptic and walked over to the Rocket. "Name's Luxury," She introduced herself, feeling bad she didn't already know her. "What happened to your arm? May I help?" Taking a seat beside her, she gently took her arm and began cleaning the wound. Taking care of her fellow Rockets would keep her mind off the fact she was in a giant metal thing that was going to be hurtling through the air soon, and it made her a really useful Grunt. Plus, hey, these guys were as good as family. It was her job to help out.

As he heard Tam ask for a bandage Aulus glanced up quickly, but it seemed another rocket was already taking care of her so he just gave the injured girl a nod and a lopsided grin. "First battle scar? Going t'be alright there?" He didn't like her. He didn't dislike her either, he just knew her kind of in passing but at the moment she was team and that was starting to mean something. He hated some of the things the team did, but they were a team and together and... and... he belonged.

Mau practically chuckled at Nyx offering to help him into the Yanmega. Ok, that in itself was a strange thought. "Thanks, ma'am." He teased as he entered the contraption. Aki hopped in after him, acting kind of like a worried mother, hanging around an injured child. But was instantly distracted by a girl helping her pokemon. She had an eevee, and one of it's evolutions. He slunk over towards Sierra to inspect what she was doing before hearing Tambrey ask for a bandage. "Por? Vapor por~"

"Aki, don't be a pest." Mau said as he sat down and looked at Nyx. "Are you alright?" Mau had no real concern for himself just yet despite the crimson stain on the arm of his uniform. Nyx first. He hadn't seen if she got hurt in the scuffle. She didn't look as though she'd personally gotten in on the action though, but he still didn't like that bruise on her face though. "At least you got a little revenge on that man." Hearing him beg for his life was strangely satisfying.

The elite gave a small giggle at Panther's salute and found a seat.

"Don't worry about me. I'm fine." Nyx gave Mau a look like he was being very silly; He was, after all, since he was the one who was obviously hurt. "We need to get you fixed up."

"This?" He gestured to his arm. "Just a flesh wound." He insisted with a faint grin. But he supposed he should at least get it cleaned up. Who knows what bacteria was festering on those nails. "Alright alright." It would be impossible to roll the sleeve up to his shoulder, so he did the only logical thing and just grabbed the sleeve where it had been torn, and tore the rest of it off. From the wounds, it seemed one nail had missed completely, one grazed him, and it was barely a red scratch, then a deep gash where a nail passed, and a puncture. Wasn't that pretty? He frowned a little. "Anyone got some pliers?" Maybe some alcohol to flush the wound.

Sierra glanced up, more surprised by Mau's comment than by Aki's presence. Her attention was on the Vaporeon though and her serious expression relaxed a bit in response to the Eeveelution's curious look. She almost smiled. "Oh, she's not a bother," she offered, her expression an open invitation to the other Rocket's Pokemon, as her hands were still busy tending to her team.

Layla turned towards the Vaporeon, curious and giving this new arrival the benefit of a doubt, being of the superior Eevee evolution line, of course. Khalon too sat up, looking over the bandage on his hind leg, then nodding politely at Aki.

Sierra was finishing cleaning up some of the supplies she'd scattered about while working when she thought of the Vaporeon. "What about you, dear? You're not injured, are you?" She kept her tone pleasant, though she knew better than to reach out towards another Rocket's Pokemon, even if she meant the best. The offer was clear enough; if Aki needed any treatment, she could find it from the quiet Rocket.

With all the Rockets on board the bug-shaped aircraft and Panther stationed at the helm, they were off. The interior of the jet was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. There was enough room for everyone to sit. Red-tinted windows along the side of the vehicle provided ample view of the world zipping by. Panther would find the controls alarmingly easy once he got the hang of it. Most of the systems were fully-automated. Star hadn't lied when he said the Yanmega was the fastest option. When it came to speed this thing didn't mess around.

- - -

Nyx's blow to the head left Star unconscious on the floor of the hangar until well after the Rockets had flown off. When he came to the handful of teammates who had hidden were in the process of moving the Dunsparce away from the doors. Wincing, he let his eyes drift to the empty spot where the Yanmega had been.

This was bad.

His options were to alert Tethys now or hide from her when she returned. Neither was good, but at least with the first option he had some control over the flow of information. Groaning, he pushed himself to sit up, pulled out his communicator, turned a knob and spoke into the device. ".....Commander."

There was a delay of some seconds, and then a fuzzy, crackly facsimile of a female voice came over the communicator. "Yes?" It echoed slightly, as if the speaker was currently in a large chamber. Despite the distorted quality, there were distinct tones of 'oh god it's you.'

Star paused a moment, eyeing the communicator like a dangerous object that must be handled with care. "..there's been an..... incident."

More silence - more than just the time needed to transmit the signal over miles and miles - and then: "Continue."

"..she's gone." He knew he didn't have to say who. "She had a team with her. I don't know what idiots let them in here, but they were disguised as Galactics. I was in the hangar doing maintenance when they came through. I incapacitated most of them myself but the remaining few managed to escape in the Yanmega Jet with their injured. In my defense, Commander the grunts posted in the hangar are useless. Most of the cowards just gave up."

Under the bare fluorescent lights, Tethys glared at her communicator as if the owner of the raspy voice coming through it was right there. "Of course," she muttered, then looked over to the purple-haired figure inserting what resembled the limp body of a unicorn into a tall glass pillar. It was her duty to keep Deimos abreast of any developments within his organization, but it was also her duty to see Galactic's master plan succeed.

Warring responsibilities won out in favor of the greater goal, and she turned away.

"I doubt that. Where are they headed?"

"Erm.." The communicator went silent as Star struggled to his feet. All of his muscles ached as he limped to the nearest computer and collapsed into the chair beside it. He brought up the Yanmega's tracking information and found that the jet's signal wasn't being received. He stared at the screen. Then the communicator. He took a deep breath before speaking again, "..the tracking beacon appears to be disabled."

The communicator sat in silence.

Star stared at it for several moments before hooking it back to his belt. Trying not to think on the Commander's impending return and what she might do when she arrived, he got back to his feet and started shouting orders to get the messy remains of the hanagar cleaned up.

- - -

A surprisingly short flight later, the jet started to slow as they neared their destination. By this point everyone had had enough time to tend to their pokemon and their own wounds. They were north of Johto, far from any signs of civilization. Unmarred hills and forest passed beneath them until the installation came into view. It was hard to really understand how large it was until they were close. The structure had little in the way of decorative features. It was massive, flat and gray. The walls rounded into one gigantic circle. No windows or distinguishing features disrupted the smooth exterior.

Once they were close enough they'd be able to make out a couple guards posted outside. They didn't appear to be engaging in any hostile response to the approaching jet. They must not have been informed it was in the hands of the enemy. None of the Galactics knew this was their destination, after all. It seemed Installation 01 hadn't been put on alert yet.

User Image After tending to her own minor injury, the pink-haired Elite made sure to inform the Rockets with what they were expected to do next. "Before we land, make sure your pokemon are ready. This is no picnic. Take out the guards stationed outside of the facility. I expect you to be efficient, I expect you to be quick, and I expect you to take care of this task before anybody can call for back up."

She pause briefly to glance at Installation 01. "Somewhere in there is The Machine. Once the guards are out, we need to get into the facility without drawing any attention to ourselves. We will need to remain undetected and find a way to shut down The Machine."

Her green eyes soon enough turned back to everyone in the Yanmega before she pulled up her glasses from earlier and placed them back on. "Make sure you are back in your disguises. We still need to blend in."

(Slight Backtrack post)

Faleen stepped further into the Mech as they got ready to go, most of the Rockets were patching themselves up. she reached out to get a First Aid kit for Izaya, walking over to join her Partner.
"... I'm not very good with this." She admitted to him.
Had he been a robot? no problem, but humans? "So I hope you are..."
Still, she needed to make sure he was okay, it wouldn't be good if it got infected, and they were not complete with their mission yet.

When Mau asked for some Pliers, Faleen blinked, and looked up. "I do." She answered, reaching to one of the smaller pouches on her belt where she had a small tool kit that she always made sure to bring with her.
"What do you need it-" She stopped, then noticing the nails in his arm. "Oh dear" she muttered, unfolding the tool and somewhat uncertainly holding it out to him

She giggled. That was the reaction he was looking for. Mau was trying to be bad assed, calling that a flesh wound. He was defiantly showing off. He turned back to the plane and started it up.

---

This thing was a dream. He didn’t even have to work hard at all. No wonder they could man flying air ship. This handled wonderfully. He hopped robotics could take this and use it in the form of something not pokemon shaped.

Back to the disguises. He sighed and put his sunglasses back in his pocket from the top of his head. Before landing the plane in the clearing next to installation 01.

He was one of the last ones out, choosing to unleash Sebastian, who hadn’t seen any action yet.

"Uh. Tambrey." Tambrey met Luxury's introduction with her own name.
It was nice to have a name to a face for her, so she suspected that might be true for other people.
"And. Please... I think it just needs a bandage and it'll be fine." And cleaning, but she knew that would come anyway. "I... got in the way of something angry and I guess it got a splinter in me. Much less worse than it might have been..." Thanks to a certain Vaporeon nearby.
"Thanks, Luxury." She got out, genuinely, even though it came after a slight wince at the cleaning.

She looked over at Aulus when he spoke, but shook her head.
"It's the same arm I broke." This hurt less than that, sure, but she was sure it was more uncomfortable because of this fact. Scars though. Well, she really should be getting used to that danger by now; exploding hedgehogs and all.
"I'll live." A half grin to Luxury and a non-serious request for confirmation followed. "Right?"

As they got nearer to the destination, Tambrey listened to the orders and, taking note, tended to her pokemon.
Palu was getting better, but she still felt awkward about using her right away.
At full strength she'd be the most useful pokemon... but as it was she was still probably rather fragile.
That left Lasi, Ella and Neph for the time being.
Two were reliable.
Two were experienced.
Only Lasi fit into -both- categories...
Tambrey found herself grimacing for just a moment and only a little of it was from the ache in her arm. Well. At least Lasi /did/ fit into both of those categories.

"So should I ask what you're doing back there?" Hayes quipped.

"Oh? I'm sorry; if you can't feel it obviously I'm not doing it right." Aulus replied, pressing rather harder as he cleansed the far end of the wound... and remembered - once again - that they weren't alone. Idiot! Everyone was going to think... well let them. Whatever. "That looks clean to me," Aulus went on, straightening up and yanking off his wig. "Damn it feels good to get that bloody thing off," he muttered, tossing it into a trash receptacle after the used antiseptic wipe before scrubbing his fingers through his natural hair....

Oh.

Perfect.

Aulus scowled and pinned the wig back into place, giving the impression that he would like to be stabbing something with the pins he was using. "I. Hate. You. Hayes."

"Sure." Hayes gave his partner what was known in the general parlance as a s**t-eating grin and got to his feet to follow Kunai's orders. His own preparation didn't take long. If seen from the front he looked much the same as at the beginning of the mission, and none of his Pokemon had taken .. any damage, really. As he thumbed over the Pokeballs at his belt, the tech caught sight of the facility again outside the window and raised a brow. Logically it was big to be seen from the air, but it wasn't until they'd landed that he really got a sense of its size. "Geez."

"... Oh gross!" Aulus pulled a face and removed the antiseptic wipe from his wig. "Going to get transformed into a geek or something," he muttered as he tossed it trash-wards once more. Other than that grip through, he was ready. Explosions ho! Just about made the horrible pink itchy wig worthwhile.

Luxury smiled at Tambrey, nodded, and confirmed, "Right!" though she knew it was just silly joking. Seemed almost out of place at the moment, but it helped keep her straight. All this blood and cuts and nails and stuff... She wasn't used to it, but she figured by the time the day was over she would be.

The grunt concentrated on patching up Tambrey as long as she could, then turned her attention to mentally assessing her pokemon.

Chora was bruised, but could still fight.
Trae was alright, but inexperienced.
Nova was not an option, her hurt leg was hurt worse, and she had taken quite a beating.
Nioshii was still going strong...ish. That water attack had left him weakened, but hopefully the trip to Johto would give him the chance to rest up and be raring to go.

She mulled over this and everything else she could think of while they were in the air. Again. At least until Kunai started giving orders. The grunt was relieved to know they were landing. Disguises... Oi. Yeah. Her jacket was out of the question, the goo all over her butt was a dead give-a-way that something was up. Rather than re-tye it like she had at the base, she just wadded it up and disposed of it, then straightened her wig. Show time again, yes indeed-y.

Rocket Agent Faleen

PostPosted: Wed Nov 09, 2011 7:51 pm

It wasn't a long trip, But Faleen used this time to her advantage, looking over as much of this ship as she could, just marveling over its build, and structure.
at one point she even had her hand pressed to the floor when she knelt, listening, and trying to feel the engine... It wasn't one she could identify, she frowned softly, though not necessarily out of anger, more intrigue.

She wanted to badly to climb out onto the hull, and take a closer look at how it had been constructed, but she had to settle for what she could see from here.
At times she went over to watch what Panther was doing, paying close, and silent attention to the kind of control interface it had.

By the time they were getting close to their destination, Faleen took up her seat again next to her partner, glancing over at Kunai as she re did her hair back up into a ponytail, this time without the bangs.
Quick and efficient, alright, she knew who would be best for this job.

Reaching to her belt to pull off one of the dusk balls, but not letting her Pokemon out yet, just rolling it between her palms while she straightened her posture to better stare out of the red tinted window.
She had an idea of how big this structure was supposed to be, but she knew it was going to be nothing compared to actually seeing it.
"My goodness" she spoke, breathlessly.

It shocked her to hear what this thing really was supposed to accomplish, the engineer part of her was amazed by it, this was beyond what anyone could ever even dream of being possible, and fear of science and construction!
It was beautiful, she wanted to see how it worked, even if she was sure she wouldn't be able to understand it... at all.
But it was the Rocket in her, the more dominant voice in her, saying that this thing was going to be stopped, and if possible destroyed, it was a creation of their enemy, and it would be used against the organization she is loyal to most adamantly.

That, took priority.

This made the engineer in her a little sad though.
