I glance over to the cell of the guy who called me... Cheesta? with a raised brow as though he said something ridiculous... I then look back to the guard and nod with a slight smile. "Sounds like a deal to me," I somewhat cautiously head toward the entrance of the cell, not sure what this guy would consider...fishy...

You are led out of the cell room, down the hall, to the right, and to a large crimson metal door.
"Go on," the guard says, gesturing to it.
It is ajar.

Laci contents herself to snuggling under her blanket and humming softly to herself, thinking of her home and her friends.

I look over at Laci, and somehow get the urge to really cuddle up to her and Tellat now. Laci's humming is strangly comforting to me, and combined with Tellat's warmness, my eye's start to grow heavier. I find myself to be a little groggy, and starting to drift...

Laci closes her eyes and starts singing quietly, "Masquerade, paper faces on parade.... Masquerade... Hide your face so that the world will never find you."

I sigh in distress as I watch yet another fellow prisoner leave the room to be injected, but then I smile as I hear Laci and her tune.
"Masquerade...every mask a different shade...masquerade...look around, there's another mask behind you..." I sing quietly as I add to her song, smiling, then lean my head against the bars of my cell, curling up in a ball as well as cold begins to bite at me.

Laci rolls over to face Nero, "You know the song too?" She smiles and snuggles deeper into her blankets

I start to wake up by a little bit when Laci's singing had ended. I pull my head up a little and look at her. "Your singing voice is beautiful... and very soothing..." I say to her in a dreamy voice. "I could forget all about the prison around me if I could listen to you all day..."

Everyone:
I am skipping over Desta for now, seeing as she hasn't posted in three days. Also, the story will move along very soon; Shi'ita is the last one before I jump quiet a bit ahead.
Everyone:
Desta is brought back into her cell quietly. The guard then opens Shi'ita's cell.
"Will you come quietly, or do I need to restrain you?" he asks.

"Yes," I say in a shivering response as I smile to Laci, "So often it is an insecure soul to feel the need for a mask to hide his deformity, but why us? Why would we need these curious masks? I don't think we need them, anyway...unless, of course, removing them would harm us..."

I walk back into my cell and look back at the guard with a bit of a glare. I really didn't like needles... or anything sharp for that matter... unless they were in my hand of course... I smirked at this idea and curled up in the corner of my cell with my blanket as I watched them get ready to take Shi'ita.

This is a world entirely separate from ours; there is no such thing as The Phantom of the Opera. Also, this world is in a time period that is roughly equivalent to the Medieval times of our world; gunpowder has been discovered, but guns are not yet being designed. Thank you.

Laci positions herself so that she can see Jasmine and she waves at her, wishing that she didn't have the mask on. She would have liked to make faces at her and Tellat to lighten the mood.

Shi'ita stays quiet for a bit before he moved the meat he had been given earlier much closer to Desta, putting it within easy reaching distance, before standing up and walking towards the guard. "There's little point in resisting without threat of being hurt or knocked out, right?" Shi'ita said, "I'll be good if there is promise of sweets..."
