( lol, Arc strips in front of the maids, that's guts right there! Man, he treats it as if there is nothing to hide. )
Arc checked his phone for the time. He had been sitting in the hospital for a few hours, arms crossed and staring at Jake who had come from the emergency room two hours previously. The poor thing would need psychiatric rehabilitation for his suicidal thoughts.

The stitches on Jake's wrists itched, and quite a few times he scratched them. He hardly regretted trying to kill himself. He would no longer be lonely. But his heart cringed once he thought of Arc. Some part of him had wanted to stay alive, just for him. Why would he want to stay with someone who hurted him without a second thought?

"Don't scratch them, you'll only tear the suture's from the skin." He noticed the boy's actions. He was a huge rash, the biggest irritant in Arc's closet. Yet boy did get under his skin many times and that made him snap at him, to keep him out.

Jake stopped scratching his wrists and merely looked away from Arc. He was afraid that if he said something, he would get slapped or even raped again. Why the heck was Arc giving him advice? Seriously, why did he bother? And, most of all, why did he still keep the servant? Didn't he have the right to free him?

Arc bothered to tell if something was bugging him about someone else, he was up front with a total stranger but when it was the boy and when Jake did something stupid, it set him off. Why? He got under his skin in more ways than one. He turned the TV on to watch the news, though when something came up about him, it was always dismissed as an employee accident or something new that was going into the franchise chains.
The news anchor's got a half price discount at his franchise stores and they cut him some slack since it was always him contacting the TV stations to put up the new add's. He really did have power and the right to exercise it.

Jake unconsciously scratched at his wrists again, eventually causing the slits to start bleeding. It wasn't until he became fatigued that he realized what he was doing. The stitches were starting to sting, too, as they dug into his skin and threatened to tear it.

Arc jumped up and applied pressure the Jake's wrist's, calling a nurse over. "They have to restitch them now." His voice was low as Arc whispered in his ear, he blew onto the neck. "Do as your told."

Jake shuddered and felt blood rush to his cheeks. His heart was pounding, but he could feel annoyance there as well. He just didn't understand Arc. Why was the man helping him, when he hated him? It just didn't make sense.

Arc never kissed Jake on the lips, it was elsewhere on his body that would. He was saving it. He nibbled on a lobe as the doctor administered the pain killers, he still held a wrist while the professional redid the other. He made the doctor think he was giving some calming words to Jake.

Jake shuddered once again, really wishing he could get Arc to stop. The servant tugged on the wrist being held by Arc, hoping he would pull it free and use his hand to push the man away. He hated this. There didn't seem to be any meaning behind what Arc was doing, and it tortured Jake.

"Your going to pop the sutures wide open if you keep trying to push me away." His hand grabbed the wrist again and held it firmly to Jake's side.

Jake trembled and ceased his struggles. As much as he wanted to say something, he was unable to for two reasons: he was afraid of getting punished and the doctor was still there.

Arc had figured that he could torture Jake by playing with his heart and his mind in certain paths, he had stumbled on it quite easily. He licked the soft, cream colored ear. His dark blue hair was still a little damp and was a cool touch to Jake's flaming cheek.

Jake tried to resist, to ignore Arc's advances, but his will was starting to deteriorate. The servant was afraid. He was afraid of Arc, of speaking up, of whatever might be next. Why? Why did the maid have to scream when he had been so close to freedom?

"You can't gain freedom through death, you are tied to death itself if you do die." Then his next words would strike Jake's heart through. "Think about your family, your sister and your mother? What would your death mean to them? Grief? Heartache? Pain? Regret?"
