Aki and Yuki were very excited. They watched how the saddle was put on and studied how it was buckled in. Then they put on their boots and helmets. Aki said "Look at us! Just like Sonja. But no cowboy hats?" Yuki said "Not cowboy boots but we look nice." she said as she looked at Aki and how he looked. "Maybe you need this hat for skating Aki." Yuki said as a joke. Aki smiled "Maybe when I crash into you it would be good to have."

The twins were giggling together about the helmets when Ms. Nat told them to take the ponies out. They took the bridles like she showed them and walked them out following her.

Aki said to Percy, "Thank you for letting me ride you today. I hope I am not too heavy for you." Yuki said "Yes, you too Daniela. Thank you." The ponies whinnied as if to laugh at the twins for thinking that they were heavy.

Aki asked "Do ponies jump too?"

Sonja was very good and Ms. Nat said that she would be good at riding in some kind of contest. "Wow that would be cool!" Aki said.

The twins watched Ms. Nat show them how to get onto the ponies. Then they tried. Aki tried first and Percy was nice and stood very still for him so that he could get on. Then Yuki tried. At first it was hard to figure out how to swing her legs over the pony but Daniela waited patiently as she figured it out and they were both on the ponies.

"We did it!" Yuki said as they were both on and sitting. Aki said "Look at us! Just like cowboys!" Percy whinnied as if laughing at Aki.

Not knowing how to get going Aki decided to ask the pony to walk and said "Percy would you please take me for a ride now?" Yuki said "Daniela would you please follow along with Percy?"

The twins giggle "Oh, okay."

Yuki says "Sorry Daniela, I did not know what to do. But you know this is my first time." She gives Daniela a very light nudge and holds the reins and pats Daniela's neck. Daniela starts to walk slowly. "Thank you Daniela."

Aki does the same with Percy and they go walking together. "Thanks Percy. Let's go catch up with Daniela." He pulls the reins in the direction of Daniela. Then they go walking around the pasture together.

Aki looks at Yuki "This is fun!" he says. Yuki says "Yes we are up high and the field is very pretty." They wave at Sonja and Ms. Nat. "Look we are riding! Like cowboys!"

Yuki smiled and nodded. "Okay pull to stop, pull one to go left or right." She waves at Adonis "Look Adonis we are riding your friends!"

Aki rode up with Percy going a little faster and passing Yuki "Hi Adonis, are you tired?" He rides Percy out into the middle of the field. "Wow you go fast Percy." he says as they trot out an back.

Yuki follows going a little faster so that the pony is at a trot instead of a slow walk. "Good job Daniela." She leads Daniela on the path that Aki used.

Aki and Yuki were in awe as Adonis leaped over the fence. He was so elegant. "Oooh pretty." Yuki said.

Aki said "Okay" when Ms. Nat said to go faster. Yuki smile "Okay we go fast. Okay Daniela?"

The twin smiled. Aki said "Want to go fast like Adonis, Percy? Let's go." He gives Percy a little kick and he goes faster.

Yuki said to Daniela "Let's go too!" She gives the pony a little kick and goes after Yuki. "Come on Adonis, come with us!" She says to Adonis as they take off.

"Woo hoo!" they giggle as the twins go riding faster around the field.
