So, now there was another non-green alien – a girl, this time – that had shown up and was insisting that she was not, in fact, an alien. A likely story. Maybe the squirrels were doing a psychological test on them all? Whatever. Darwin could go with the flow for now, and that flow included not freaking out or blushing like an ugly brick when he realized he now had two girls hanging from him.
This had to the third strangest dream he’d ever had. Maybe the second strangest.
“ I guess we do what ever the not-aliens say.” He said to Raven and Mary. “ Not much other choice.”
Real comforting. With that thought, Darwin eyed the girl-not-alien (Virgo). He would have approached like she said, but that would mean dragging the two girls with him, so instead he just spoke up.
“ I’m Darwin and I was playing Pokemon, and then I was here.” Very detailed and specific. At least he restrained his burning desire to ask if Palkia was behind this.

Ian was willing to help, and he stepped forward. At one point he might have been tempted to make something up, to lie about things, but this was far to serious for that. He couldn't risk this being a link to them getting back home. "My name is Ian Davis. I know that I had just been listening to my music in my dorm room, and then it felt like I was falling, and then I was here."
Perhaps it wasn't the best explanation, but that was what he remembered, and once he had given it to the Captain, he stepped back to stand with Raph. It was interesting to see just how similar everyone's stories were, and how different they were at the same time.

Keren was not having any of this. Senshi? Whatever. The girl in the veil, like the boy in the booty shorts before her (downright indecent!), wasn't giving her any answers - but the difference was that Virgo had opened herself for questions.
Keren jostled her way to the front of the crowd, jostling Ricky out of the way with a well-thrown elbow. (Basketball was good for a lot of things.) "Hi," she snapped, sizing the girl in the green empire dress up. "Keren Della-Blue." The way she said her name made it sound as if she expected people to recognize it - Daddy was a famous doctor, Mom was a socialite, she was an up-and-coming high school basketball star.
"I'm sorry, but I don't have time for this mass-hallucination bonked-on-the-head Homestuck game," she explained. "I have a basketball practice to get back to." Her tone of voice made it seem like the most important thing on the planet - and it was just practice! "Like, a really important one.."

Amy hadn't quite expected Joce to pull the two of them with her. It actually made her quite happy, in a silly way. BFFs already! It was amazing what the unexpected could bring. She hoped that Regina wasn't going to be too disappointed that Virgo didn't seem to be an alien.
"I'm Amy," the girl excitedly said to Virgo, albeit as calmly as she could muster. She was disappointed that there were no whales, but she'd take this over some of the other things her brain had visually come up with. "I was just doing my nightly run in the park...and the next thing I knew I was here." Her clothing corroborated her story, as awkward as it felt being in just workout clothing around so many others. At least she wasn't like that other teen, stuck in his swim trunks!

A soldier of Innocence? That seemed highly contradictory, but then again she didn't dress in any fashion that Holi would have associated with soliders either. She almost face-palmed at Kes's demand to have the 'Hot guy' back. He was pretty attractive, but really... some girls.
"It's NOT Magic." She insisted, stubbornly... trying to work the idea of 'barrier at the edge of the Sol system' into her logical worldview. It was sort of like trying to hammer a square peg into a round hole... it wasn't going well. Of course then again, Senshi were supposed to be terrorists.
"My name is Holiday Jones." She called, deciding that, in spite of all evidence, that she counted as one of the 'calmer' people. Stubborn counted as 'calm'...right?
"I was in my parents kitchen, making chocolate. Then I felt... weird... like I had vertigo, then we were... Here." She gestured vaguely around and then added air quotes. " 'The barrier at the edge of the Sol system' "
By now she'd moved past just twirling her hair in her fingers, and started making a small braid when she'd done speaking, shoulders drooping as she realized she wasn't sure where else to go with the conversation. It seemed highly impolitic to ask aren't Senshi supposed to be terrorists?
There was a very very small part of her that kept questioning but what if...
She couldn't swallow the what if. It stuck in her throat like a shard of snack you'd swallowed wrong and was lodged there being pointy and uncomfortable.
She was also a little worried about the idea of the rest of the supposed guard arriving. Being surrounded by any kind of strange, "magical" guard with guys in hot pants and little blond girls in veils. She looked a little like someone had dressed up a pretty girl in a cross between a cute little bridesmaid outfit that made her look younger and sweeter, and a brides veil.
For a terrorist the combination did a good job making her look fragile and innocent, the way those little dolls were supposed to look but always came out creepy.
...Apparently terrorists came with the qualifier of "Must be obnoxiously pretty", which made her personally feel.... well a bit frumpy, since she'd been abducted wearing a pair of Emily the Strange cat slippers, black fuzzy pajama pants and an over sized t-shirt that used to have the name of some band her father used to like, but was no longer readable. She didn't feel like she looked like a pretty version of anything. At best she probably looked like one of those "Undead Dollies" at the goth store, and smelled like chocolate. At least she smelled good. That was a plus.
....Honestly. Was she REALLY debating the inconvenience of not having time to dress up before she'd been abducted? It was nice to know the insanity was spreading.

The smile had caught her off guard, if anything she was not expecting anything in return from the female. After all, Lynn knew she blended in... well sometimes. The female was silent more because she wanted to listen. She was better at listening than speaking, she knew her strengths. The others arround her were asking the same questions she had anyways.
Sort of like in roll call fashion, the snowy haired woman piped up too.
"Kaylin Morgan, but please call me Lynn." Much less of a mouthful anyways. She gave a nod towards the Zodiac soldier... what WAS a Zodiac soldier anyways? Skirts and bows and...apparently itty bitty shorts on the men.

Well. At least Darwin had the right idea. He could stay with the group and stay away from the crowd—and stay somewhat near to Molly.
He didn’t want to be like the others who had crowded around Virgo and just turned to face her. He didn’t want to yell, that just seemed rude, but decided to speak, when there was a moment of quiet so he wasn’t speaking over anyone. There were so many people and so many faces, he couldn’t keep up and doubted Virgo could either, but he could humor her request and introduce himself.
Jett stood with an upright posture and seemed to be calm; he watched Virgo with interest. He noticed that, in moving closer to Raven, he’d moved somewhat closer to her. She was even smaller than he’d assumed, but it was sort of endearing in a way. Jett wasn’t a giant by any means, but he had good genes and did like to make a presence. Not that there was any particular reason to, tonight. This was an awful first impression; he was aware of that. If he was meeting a pretty girl, he’d have liked to be at least a bit dressed up, but given this situation. Where he wasn’t dreaming, dead, or about to die, he still didn’t know what was going on—but assumed that this wouldn’t be a place he’d ever be again if his presence here was merely a fluke. Which meant that it was likely he’d never see Virgo again. She’d used a handful of terms that meant little to him, but he wasn’t about to come across as daft and leave her with a handful of inquiries.
He waited until Kaylin had introduced herself and then introduced himself with a half hearted smile. “And I'm Jett,” he said, not quite sure he wanted to deliver his last name in front of all these strangers. “I can’t imagine anything out of the ordinary happening prior to my arrival. I closed shop, grabbed some fast food, came home, did my training, took a shower and brushed my teeth.”
There had been no strangers that he could recall meeting that stuck out in his mind, no strange foods, no mystical artifacts he’d been playing with during work. Today, in fact, before all of this happening had actually been very boring and uneventful.

She nodded to Eliza and thanked her, filing that tidbit away. No judgement, she reminded herself. She fought monsters in the streets of Destiny City; pretending to be a pirate wasn't a lot worse. Why didn't she have a pen or pencil and some paper? Well, because she'd expected a much smaller group. Neso had a bit of a tendency to over-exaggerate. Natalia got a nod and a thank-you as well, although the corners of Virgo's mouth took a definite downturn at the lack of obedience. She was trying to help. If anyone could possibly provide information later, she wanted to know their names. Eliza in particular might get a call back; Virgo held no great fondness for nurses.
Joshua mentioned hearing something, and she furrowed her brows. "Thank you," she said. "Can you describe what it sounded like?" She hoped it wasn't something shattering. If the Surrounding started to break again, she was going to cry. Right there. Okay, maybe not right there, but certainly she'd stay here to watch the newly-broken place and make sure no Chaos could break through.
The bitchy older woman (Aya)--and Virgo knew her nerves were shredding that she even thought the word--got a downright irritated look. "Ma'am, I said if you were going to curse at me to please wait until everyone who is not a jerk has had their chance to speak." Which meant never. She didn't like to get cursed at by anyone, and snappy civilians on the Surrounding? Even less. "Once the rest of my team is here, I'll start getting you all sent home. As I said. I can't leave you up here unattended." Did people think she was just making jokes? "I wouldn't care to comment. I am not a terrorist."
On to the next anecdote: Ricky's. "Alright," she said, because she didn't know what else to say. Maybe Gemini Alpha could handle that when he got there.
"I wish you were back in your house working on jewelry," she said to Jocelien. "It's a lot safer for you there. Right now, standing like sheep is the safest option. This place is not safe for civilians."
She couldn't think of anything to say to Darwin because she didn't know what Pokemon was. Ian Davis also netted no reaction, aside from biting her lip. What in the world could the connection here even be?
She narrowed her eyes at the girl who shoved Ricky aside. Keren. Okay, well, not someone she knew. "Like," she said, her voice heavy with unaccustomed sarcasm, "I am not going to abandon forty or more civilians to bring you home for basketball practice. When others of my court arrive, I will bring you back to Destiny City. I can't promise anything else."
Park. Okay, that would be a point in the favor of Negas Did It. "Thank you, Amy," said Virgo. "And you too, Holiday. That was very helpful." Lynn got a nod, but nothing more; she didn't add anything to the story. Nor did Jett; he'd had a normal evening, it seemed.
"Thank you, all of you. Did anyone hear footsteps behind them, or have any idea that people were following them?" Maybe she could prompt people into remembering a little more?

There was a private tea ceremony held in a tea house Sho-tei. Jade, and few other fellow members of Destiny City's Tea Lovers were gathered on tatami mats and were each in turn served a strong flavored green tea. As to respect the host and traditions of this old ceremony, they were all dressed in the traditional tea ceremony attire, kimonos and all.
It was Jade's turn to take a sip from the tea bowl. She rotated the bowl in her hands so that she didn't take a sip from it's front, rose it near her lips and took a sip. She was about to compliment the host on the tea when a sudden, strong feeling overhelmed her body. She closed her eyes tightly, wondering what this strange feeling was. Had she got a food poisoning from the kaiseki meal? If so, that was unexplainable.
"Jade, are you alright?" she heard Lin, one of the those few who she actually could call her friend, asking. She couldn't answer as the feeling got stronger and stronger and soon it felt like she couldn't breath. This is the end, she thought while trying to resist the feeling and remain conscious.
The next thing she noticed was the change of the temperature of the air and the conversation coming from about fifty other people that had been strangely appeared in the space as well. She felt her heart beating in frantic pace which disturbed her so she decided to stay still until she felt calmer.
The group seemed to be moving towards the nearest of the castle and so, she decided to follow them quietly. It was no point to just stand in there, anyway. Like many others, she felt curious of why they were here, in a land that reminded her of lands shown in her childhood's cartoons but in the same, she was sure that her questions would be answered soon by itself.
Behind them she walked, silently content of not being noticed yet, even though her light blue kimono wasn't really that casual outfit. But it seemed like that her wish to remain invisible would not last very long as the Soldier Virgo had started to ask them questions. She closed her eyes for a moment and pondered could she trust this 'soldier'.
"Very well then," she finally spoke in low, calm tone. "I'm Jade and my last memory was having a tea ceremony before appearing here."

She used her arm that wasn't hooked around one of Amy's to rub her temple. Her head -still- hurt slightly from whatever it was that had transported them here from their homes.
"I don't remember footsteps. I was sitting at my work table working on rings when i started to feel funny. It was sorta like getting sick really really fast." She'd put her tools down and remembered just staring at the workbench.
"OH! It felt like i was having a heart attack. At least what most people imagine it feels like i think. My heart started pounding so fast ... i think i passed out and then i was sitting here with a horrible headache."

With her head thrown for a loop, Roxy's first instinctive idea was to go to where the information was. That seemed to be Virgo who was spouting familiar terms that only seemed to be whispered in the halls of Meadowview on in the streets of Destiny City, unless they were stated with disdain upon the nightly news. There was a crowd growing around the Zodiac soldier, a few even familiar faces of classmates in the bunch, all stating how they had gotten to this rainbow-tastic place.
Roxy didn't care about all that, which seemed to be similar sentiment of a few others, and she pulled a little more at her hair in frustation. "Who cares how we got here!" she shouted, taking a few steps towards the group. "How do we get home-" her question continued, only to fall on her lips when her foot struck something hard and plastic. Yellow eyes went to the floor below, trailing from her foot to identify what she hit. What she found made her hands shoot out towards it and her eyes grow big with happiness.
Her bedazzler, just milling about on the ground not a few feet away from where she had come to. It must have slipped out of her hands during her initial frustrating spat. The blonde cradled it to her chest like it was a baby and sighed content. At least there was one constant back in her life in this annoying adventure. God, she wanted to go home and people were asking such stupid questions.

If Wallace knew what was going on inside Flannery’s head, it would have caused a swift return of the mindless rage he’d felt only moments before. Fortunately for both of them, she kept her thoughts to herself, and he was blissfully unaware, though if he’d been less frazzled by the situation, he might have suspected something. He hadn’t known Flannery Spicer for going on eighteen years now- literally, since before he was born- without catching on to how she operated. Her reassurances that she would figure out what to do only filled him with a sense of impending doom. Just because this wasn’t her fault didn’t mean that she wouldn’t find a way to make matters worse.
Then again, the situation seemed to be getting worse even without her help. While at first the appearance of the scantily-clad guy made him feel a bit less embarrassed about his own lack of clothing, the relief quickly dissipated. When another oddly-dressed person appeared, he decided that he didn't want to be anywhere near them. They could appear at will and knew where they were. Therefore, they were clearly the kidnappers, and nicknames or no, Wallace did not want to get involved with them.
Besides, dealing with Flannery was distraction enough. “What are you planning now?” he hissed, trying not to attract further attention. Not that he needed to worry- everyone else was paying attention to the kidnappers. “Fl- Red, I don’t want to make things worse than they already are, okay? Can’t we just figure out what’s going on before we try anything... drastic?”

“W-w-w-wake up in tha mornin' feelin' like P-Diddy-” the voices, complete with sleazy drawl, piped suddenly up behind Virgo, followed by a chorus line of clicks and screels that could only come from the Zodiac's strange little mascot. Moments later, the Gemini twins and their Serenity-blessed youma friend came almost literally galloping along the rainbow road with surprising grace and balance. Surprisingly only because Gemini Alpha was in a dead sprint along the rainbow road, Gemini Beta riding upon his shoulders, Honorary Gemini Snuzzles settled upon hers. The Gemini Totem Pole had arrived, beer in hand. Enough beer had already been removed from said hand, it seemed, that Gemini Alpha was just inebriated enough to stumble upon the surface, tipping the totem pole into a Gemini avalanche. Andeon was quick enough to make sure he could break his fiance's fall, wrapping his arms around her waist and rolling with her across the pavement. Their bodies came to a halt just a few feet away from Virgo's feet. There, Andeon lay on the flat of his back, grinning up at their pretty little Captain with a grin that Gemini Alpha himself would have described as “the shiteatingest”. Andeon looked up at her, hiccoughed once, and watched the beer bottle roll incriminatingly across the road. There it lay upon its side, dumping an endless amount of golden brown space beer out upon the sidewalk. It continued to do so until Snuzzles hopped to his feet and scuttled over to retrieve it. He gave Virgo what looked strangely like a tiny salute as he passed. Andeon, as he adjusted his rose-colored glasses, had only the following to say for himself: “G-got mah glasses ahm out the door I'm gonna hit this city.”

Fritz dearly wished he had a camera.
Or maybe a really fast painter who could document this entire occurrence in Frederick St. James' otherwise uneventful life.
He also had to work very hard to resist the urge to say something sarcastic about those ridiculously short shorts on the guy that had appeared from...well, nowhere. But, well, he had to at least give credit where credit was due. Only a very self-respecting man would wear those...
Except Shorts Boy was both in and out within a few brief seconds, and his appearance was followed by the sudden appearance of someone else - this time a girl.
A very pretty girl, Fritz could not help noticing. But he remained politely quiet while she attempted to answer the dozens of questions that were suddenly flung her way as everyone tried to figure out just where they were and what was going on.
...Zodiac territory? A faint frown creased Fritz's forehead as he glanced around, musing silently to himself. He did not really know what that meant, "Zodiac territory." The first word was easy enough to understand, but he had the strong suspicion that it did not mean what Fritz thought it meant. As for the second half...well, okay, territory was relatively simple to understand as well.
Combined, however, the two words made no sense in his head.
He lifted a hand in greeting to the Zodiac captain. "I'm Fritz," he said with what he hoped was a friendly smile. "Nice to meetcha."
Her question made him pause, thinking back. "I remember a strange buzzing noise," Fritz said, after a moment's consideration, and he frowned again, pushing back his unruly mop of hair. "And then something...something thumping. Like..."
His hand absently touched his chest, pressing over his heart. "My chest felt really tight..."
He trailed off, blinking at the sudden appearance of someone.
Er, thought Fritz, brows raising in surprise and amusement, despite himself. Make that two someones.
Well, this situation was certainly getting stranger.

Footsteps behind him? Jett hadn't been alone in his house, but his mother had gone to bed early after a long day of work. It wasn't unusual for her to sleep early; her health wasn't the best, but again--nothing was out of the ordinary.
So far as people following him, if Jett had noticed anyone, he'd have confronted them. He had no more information to give and so remained silent, keeping an ear out for Virgo's voice. He didn't entirely care to hear of everyone's stories; from what he'd gathered of what he'd heard already, no one knew what had happened and just appeared here. Though, he was sort of curious as to what Raven was doing before she'd gotten here--if only because she wasn't some stranger prattling on.
The appearance of even more of these costumed individuals left Jett almost amused, though he was still very far from answers, and thus, still in a state of subtle agitation.
