Alright! Thats not a bad team! Except for your lapras! He had ice beam, scald, rain dance, and thunder, right? Lapras in this generation really is used best in tandem with politoad because of its dream world ability! So if it isnt paired with politoad, it probably isnt the best choice! Oh, and dragonite is a much better choice than altaria! Its much more bulky and can dish out some pretty beastly damage!

There's a number of things wrong about this. First, Politoed should not be on this team, it cripples volcarona. Altaria isn't meant to be used like dragonite, its usually a perish songer or some kind of odd support poke (if you aren't using it like that, Jitterbug, Dragonite is better).

I never said he should use politoed on that team! I simply meant that he shouldnt use lapras unless he if going for the rain dance support! and his lapras already had rain dance which he used with volcarona in our flat battle! Thats what I was trying to tell him, that he should use 2 different weather effects on a single team! This was for his flat battle team also! And altaria, in my opinion, wouldnt be as useful as dragonite overall on that type of team!

Lapras is it's own supporter when it comes to Rain Dance... And I already use 2 different Weather effects... sweatdrop

I know, but it takes up a move and it only last 5 turns, as opposed to the entire battle with politoad! plus politoad is a pretty good pokemon in the first place! He can be really annoying, very often! I was trying to tell you that you shouldnt have 2 weather effects on one team really, because some of your pokemon, no matter what, will be less effective from the weather at all times! Its better to have one consistent weather effect, if you are using one at all!

Lapras is still decent, it has a nice bit of bulk, which his team somewhat fragile. It's not completely useless without rain like a Ludicolo - it is very good at dishing and taking hits.

I never said otherwise! I was saying he shouldnt use it on his team! No pokemon (bar wobbufett) only has one good use! Im just trying to help him build his team stronger! Im not making assumptions for each pokemon individually! Each pokemon are useful! Just in different way, and some in a high number of ways than others!

Wynaut actually has more than one usable moveset! Dont try to pick out tiny details when it is clearly implied what tier we are talking about, much less that we are not talking about NFE pokemon! It is pointless trolling, and it would be apreciated if you stopped!

So, after looking at my pokes, I have narrowed it down to Steel, Fighting, or Ground - have any of those been claimed already?

Well I was the steel gym leader back in the 4th gen... you can try to get it, but you´ll be facing me to get it.

If you do go for steel, you will be going against me also! Sorry, Serge, but I dont plan on letting you win! biggrin

Though, I will say that I believe that Shadow would destroy you in a pokebattle, he knows how to use English properly, unlike you.
