Gabriel gets tired of waiting for the man to go and do his business, so he runs to his small room and grabs a small chunk of black ribbon from a small box under his bed.
He ties the ribbon onto the monkey's tail, "there, now as long as they doesn't fall off, I can find you if you run away from me," He pets the monkey then goes back out to the small boat and rows it back to the island.

The gypsy woman's offer danced in Katherine's head all the way back to the Dementia, visions of that barely-concealed figure causing her to stumble rather ungracefully as she arrived on deck.
Recovering unsteadily, Katherine gripped the railing with one hand and tried to look commanding, a difficult task when one was cradling an injured parrot in their hat. To her disappoint (and relief) few crewmen were on deck at that time, so the return of the supply party went unnoticed.
The sun had set sometime between leaving the jungle and clambering aboard the Dementia, so the Captain irritably gave the orders to leave at dawn, retiring to her cabin to see about having a decent wash.

Rachel steps onto the deck of the Dementia, the lack of sleep from when they arrived at that rock finally snapped that last nerve. She drew out he sword and rushed down to her quarters, she needed to chop something into a million pieces, dummy or a deckhand, it really didn't matter to her at the moment. She slammed the door to her quarters and lunged at the small training dummy she set up to keep her skills sharp.
The dummy was rather broken already, giant slash marks in the wood. It probably wouldn't last through her sleepy rage, but it might calm her down so she can get some sleep before they leave. Loud thuds could be heard from Rachel's quarters as she slashed the wooden dummy into splinters.
Gabriel hops off one of the small boats and smiles. Being back on the ship was good, especially since he now has a small monkey friend to do things with. Being the only kid on a boat full of adults wasn't the greatest thing. The monkey hopped off his shoulder and ran around the deck, "Get back here you cheeky monkey!" He calls, chasing after the little monkey.
Eventually he grabbs the monkey and picks it up, "Silly monkey," he grinned, walking down to the training room that Rachel taught him at. He lets the monkey out of his arms, "Go ahead, you can't hurt anything in here," as Gabriel tells the monkey to have some fun, it had already becan hopping from one training dummy to the next.

The boat she and a few other crewmen had been rowing pulle dup alongside the Dementia just as the Captain and Rachel were slipping aboard. Jamie wasted no time in helping secured the rowboat, for she was eager to rest on the familiar deck of the ship. Sure, the island had been slightly exciting, but she was glad to be back at sea. Without hesitation the curvacious woman hopped over the railings and landed gracefully on the deck, high heels clicking as she moved, adjusting herself tot he soft roll of the ship in the waves.
Her dainty hands lowered to dust off the skirt that had flown upwards during her decent and she then turned, determined to find something suitable to quench her thirst. Water would be exceptable, yet rum sounded so much sweeter. Jamie's hips swayed with her new found confidence as she made her way across the deck. The young woman found herself pausing as she glanced back, eyes scanning the deck for the pointed eared male that she was starting to grow used to being at her side.
Jamie gasped at the thought and turned, continuing further onto the ship in search of rum. No, she didn't need him with her at all times. she culdn't allow herself to miss or need him near. The gypsy's eyes narrowed on the deck at her feet as she walked quickly in the direction of her cabin. Surely, she had some rum stowed away in there.
Ms. Gallows forced herself to think of other matters besides Nicolas Morgan. She set her mind on the Captain and her new goal to help herself and perhaps Nicolas get promoted. Damned. There he was again. The woman hissed as she spun the silver ring around her ring finger in annoyance. Her stride was long for her short body type as she turned down a passageway heading in the direction of her assigned cot. She certainly needed a drink.

Once he and Bit were safely aboard the Dementia again John relaxed. Though his new boots would gain the attention of some of the crew, he was sure that he could slip back into his normal life easily enough. Heading to the Galley with Bit on his shoulders John decided he'd better make sure so one had raided the stores or worse yet attempted to cook for themselves while he'd been gone, he also made a mental note to make time to work on his fighting skills before bed.

Nicolas could feel his own stomach churning as his dearest Jamie conversed so longingly with the captain. It was surprising for the male to feel so turned off from the two women teasing one another, but he had his obvious reasons to feel in that manner. Crossing his arms and ignoring the whole conversation, he hoped their ship could dock soon enough. Although he did not miss the crew, it would be much easier to relieve his mind of Jamie when there were more women on deck. The thought of Aurora appeared in his mind and he shook his head with a laugh. That was one wench he wouldn't ever lay his hands upon.
Busy with thoughts of the other women on the ship, Nicolas nearly didn't notice when his familiar deckhand took a seat beside him. Her words burned within his mind and every inch of his body was screaming with fury. From within clenched teeth, the man responded, having a very difficult time to keep his cool, "..You're very correct.. Interesting indeed.." Acting or not, it was a painful site to see the woman he had so longed for plan for an intimate night with someone else. Multiple instances before, the elf himself had planned to spend the night in another ladies chambers, but within his heart he knew it did not beat for them. Looking to Jamie, he was not quite sure.
A paled face, lightly burnt from the sun kept itself facing the waters as the rowed back to the Dementia. Dispite Jamie's words, the male spoke his cent worth and then remained silent. He was doing an awful job of hiding his emotions, but he hoped Jamie would speak nothing of it. It would not help his pride to have his lady of choice say something now.
It was a short boat ride, but seemed long enough to get a few thoughts floating within the male's mind. Once they had reached the ship, he quickly climbed aboard and stretched out. Sapphire eyes watched as Jamie Gallows left his side and began in the direction of her own chambers. With an annoyed expression, the male turned in the opposite direction and towards an edge of the large ship. It seemed Nicolas' plans were not going so according to plan. Had his choices as a child come to hinder his future, or would they eventually pay off? Resting an elbo on the railing and his delicate cheek on his hand, the male thought quietly to himself. The rank of a deckland was beginning to humble him.

Jamie's stride slowed as she grew farther apart from the rest of the crew. Her gaze fell out on the open sea and she stopped, letting out a deep sigh. The sea. It was her freedom, and also, at one time, her enemy. The young woman remained in the middle of the walkway, facing the railings that seperated her from the open waters. Memories began to flood her as she instantly forgot about returning to her cabin. Subconciously she began to twirl the ring on her finger once more. So much had changed since she had left her home.
It was not only the way she lived, but it was her. She had changed. That was obvious from the things that she had done. A shiver ran down the woman's spine as she recounted her cowardice act and the look in the male's eyes as he had realised what she had done. Jamie lowered her head, bangs sheilding her eyes from view.
What was she getting herself into now? Surely she enjoyed this new male's company, but nothing more. It couldn't be anything more. It wouldn't. With a few small steps, Jamie made it to the railings and layed her head down, resting it on her arms as she leaned on it. The sound of the ocean against the side of the ship produced goosebumps across her skin before she narrowed her eyes and growled.
What was she doing? The past was not something to dwell on. Sharply, the young gypsy blew air between her lips in an exasperated manner. It seemed as though being a pirate was more demanding on her emotional self than she had originally thought. Barriers were being built though. And that would be the difference between success and failure.

Nicolas kept himself firmly planted against the railing, eyes shut and mind wandering from one issue to another. Constantly, the man was seen clenching his fists or adjusting his feet. The memories of his past did more than haunt him, they seemed to plague both his mind and concious, leaving him in a more foul mood than he usual was in.
With a flip of his lightening hair, he released a grumble at the thought of his youngest sister. When she had left their familys ship, he watched her as he sailed away, but never truly knew of what happened to her. It was very possible, though unlikely, that she might survive. Dread filled the male at the thought of meeting Raine once again. He smirked slightly at the thought, imagining fighting the poorly trained woman in combat. Would she be just as awkward on her feet or would she have learned something over the years? If it was one thing Nicolas was able to pride himself in, it would have certainly been his swordsmanship. His father had been a great captain and had taught him all he knew. His fathers sudden downfall, however, was no surprise to Nicolas. Fists clenched, the elf pulled himself from the rail and turned to face the ship, an evil expression on his face.
When his pale colored eyes scanned the ship, they caught site of a delicate form in opaque leggings. Jamie had not returned to her chamber it appeared. Nearly as soon as his face had produced the awful grimace, it had vanished. Looking towards the woman with slight concern, Nicolas wondered what it was that caused her to seem so distant suddenly. The two were not an item and would most definately never settle down like the typical wife and husband, but the elf had known there was something that would kindle between the two, dispite their awful differences.

The darkness had consumed her then. The barrel that brought her torture and much pleasure to the crew that had done it to her. She had deserved it though. She knew she had. The small woman stared down at the waves that lapped the belly of the Dementia. She could picture herself within the waves and what had happened not so long ago. The act that had caused her to hate the darkness so much. Her sky blue eyes blinked as she shook her head and stood upright. Surely there were other things to think of to help keep her mind off such things.
Jamie glanced about the ship, trying to find that something to keep her mind from the past. It seemed everyone had their own painful story upon a pirate ship. Perhaps in order to be a pirate something had to happen to you to harden the heart and soal. Otherwise what kind of pirate would you be? Jamie's gaze caught Nicolas's and she caught her breath. He was not the one thing that would help her mind from wandering.
The woman then turned shaprly on her heels, her red skirt fluttering upwards as she spun. She made her way in the direction of her cabin once more. A drink was sounding better and better. Rum was the one thing that helped her from remembering. Rum and sleep.

Nicolas found himself scowling once again when the woman turned so suddenly after catching his gaze. It was clear that she had seen his eyes and it was even more clear that her sudden turn was in response to him. Beginning forward and in her direction, the man had decided he would need to speak with Jamie in order to make their plan more clear to the two of them. Whatever Jamie had planned to do to ease herself into a better standing with the captain, Nicolas wanted to know of. If the elf could have anything to do with it, he would know the entire plan from the moment they spoke until the point Jamie wished to take it. Or however far Nicolas felt would be acceptable.
Jamie was a few feet ahead of Nicolas and nearly at her chambers, when the taller man grabbed ahold of her arm and pulled her into him. Once before he had done this, though at the moment with his mind and heart full of rage and jealousy, his hold on Jamie was much more fierce. A nearly trembling hand kept a firm grib on the tanning woman's arm as he stared down into her own beautiful blue eyes, "What's the plan tonight Jamie Gallows?" He spoke bluntly, though quietly enough for just her ears to hear. As he spoke, he wore a very cold expression on his face. He was not asking her what she intended to do, but demanding an answer from her.

A gasp could be heard as the woman was snatched unexpectantly from behind. Her arm was halted and resulted in her spinning around in a quick response. Her eyes narrowed on the taller male as he pulled her towards himself. She could feel the strong grip around her small wrist and she pulled aginst him, straining her wrist awkwardly and painfully. His cold tone came next as she stared up at him. She hadn't expected the male to have turned so bitter so quickly. Had she upset him by trying to elavate both of them to higher positions?
Jamie stomped her foot, her heel slamming against the wood as she pulled her arm against the strength of his own. What's the plan tonight Jamie Gallows? Oh yes. He was angry. Like her mother had when she was young, he had used her first and last name to address her. She continued to glare up at him, though stopped her light struggle and let out a soft breath.
" I plan to help myself get promoted and see what I can do for you Nicolas Morgan. " She hissed back, her voice equally as low as his own. She stood close to him and allowed the arm he was holding to go limp. " Now, you will let go of me and not touch me in such a way again. You have been warned." It was Jamie's voice that was cold and hard then as her free hand hovered by her skirt. Though they werent visible, a weapon or two could have been concealed underneath the fabric hiding her lower body.
It was obvious that he wanted answers out of her. His tone demanded it. Yet, she thought it was obvious. She would do what she could to profit the both of them. No, it couldn't be for him too. She was supposed to in this for herself. Yet, he was included whether she liked it or not.

((omg! Mind you, my pirate is a jerk! It's not me, I swear!))
With the woman trying to pull herself away, Nicolas did not ease his grip. He stared the woman down, intent on hearing out her plan and determining whether it was all worthy in the end. The elf would not play second to a filthy homosexual captain! Both Jamie and Nicolas had aimed to have moments with one another in the past, but they always seemed to be cut short by a captain or other high ranking officer. With a stern expression on his face, the elf wondered if the small, gypsy woman had been playing him all along.
When Nicolas saw her body suddenly moving to stomp her foot onto the ground, the man instinctively pulled his boots a good distance from her feet. So easily she could have attempted to wound him, but it seemed her only hope was to release some stress. With no amused expression, the man continued to watch her. The longer she took to speak, the longer he would hold a tight grip of her wrist. The thought of her wounded hand did not occur to him until after she had begun speaking.
Jamie's vague words were little to satisfying. They barely answered the elf's question, if even answered it at all. With more questions burning within his mind, Nicolas threw the woman's hand aside and continued to stare her down, "I understand your intentions, Jamie! But what means shall you gain these promotions...?" If his words came out slow, it was only due to his hope to calm his words and better get answers from the wench.

Jamie jerked as Nicolas tossed her hand aside. Quickly she aided her wounded hand and sore wrist in her other palm, rubbing it to sooth the slight burning sensation. The woman quieted then, content in having been released. She lowered her gaze as he questioned her once more. What was she planning to go through to allow a promotion to be available? Jamie felt her stomach tighten at the thought and her eyes fixed on the wooden deck the two stood on. She didn't want to look at the male. She was going to be disgusted and ashamed with what ever she chose to go through with with the captain.
Nicolas's voice had her slightly frightened. The woman was used to harsh words and cruel behavior, but his opinions seemed to affect her more than she would have liked them too. And it was obvious he was not approving with her decision. A sudden scowl was placed upon her features and she growled.
"Who are you to care about what I chose to do, Mr. Morgan? " The gypsy hissed, her gaze still fixed on the floor as she felt her cheeks burning with a sudden heat. She was getting the same feeling she had had with him. The man she was set to marry. Inside she was grateful for his concern and wanted nothing more but to lean on him and have him talk her out of it. But no. She was a woman who stood alone. She needed no one. Ignoring her last question and shaking her head she furrowed her brows and answered the elf.
" By any means necessary, Nicolas. " The woman muttered, continuing to rub her hand. " I'm going to do what I can to help us. "

Nicolas could sense by her sudden gaze towards the ground that whatever took place that night would not have been something he approved of. As lowly pirates, it seemed all that was possible to raise their ranks, but was it truly worth it? Were there not other skills the two could provide useful to their captain? Nicolas growled between clenched teeth at the thought of betlittling himself any further to please Captain Kruel. It was only during the battles that Nicolas found himself at peace. When he could engulf himself in chaos and pain, he could be an individual and show his strengths to the best of his ability. On ship, he felt as if he was a fish out of water, wounded by every upper rank's steps.
"Who am I to care!?" The man barked back to the small woman standing before him. His posture was growing ridgid and soon he was up in the gypsy's face, arms on either side of her, pinning her to one of the cooridore walls. His cold eyes stared her down, seeming more content that he had her right where he wanted her. These long days on the ship were seeming longer without the cooperation of the ship crew and, more importantly, Jamie Gallows. A tension was rising between the two and clearly his overbearing personality was not something the woman approved of, herself. Nicolas was too controlling, but he had no interests of changing because of Jamie.
Pushing himself onto Jamie, the elf quickly wrapped his arms around her body and with a firm, but gentle hand bringing her head closer to his, he offered the most passionate kiss he could have.

The expected response from Nicolas followed as he yelled down at her. She flinched as he drew close to her face in angered questioning. Yes, who was he to care? She hadn't known him for long. They had met in the pub no more days ago than she had fingers or toes. Still, they had practically been unseperable. A soft whimper was emitted from the small woman's parted lips as Nicolas easily pinned her to the corridor wall. Her gaze remained averted from his own and she forced away her fearful expressions as he glared at her.
He was so close. They were always so close. And something or someone always parted them. Perhpas it was a sign. Her mother certainly would have thought so. Now though he leaned against her and wrapped her into a strong embrace. Jamie could feel one of his hands raise her chin so as to meet his gaze. Jamie's eyes widened though as she was met but a Nicolas that seemed to have changed within a split second.
No more arguing? No more questions? Just him. The young woman watched him for a moment before slowly leaning closer to the male. She wanted to say something. Wanted to apologize for what was going to happen later. But she couldn't find the words.
"Nicolas.." She began in a whisper, her lips brushing against his own. " I.." Jamie never finished as she took his offer and embraced the elf in return, loosing herself in the kiss.
