"Inventions, huaaaarggh!" Jason was pulled along with Cinkel, his flailing feet sending spray flying behind them. After a while, he just focused his efforts on keeping his beard dry. "Ya need ta give more warnin', man! Ach, it's too windy! Are we there yet?"

"Tch---" Zaul softly grunted in irritation. He just stood at his distance, as all he had to fight with were his pistols. But he moved sideways to a spot in order to avoid shooting at Emil or Cleo and fired off about six Shine Harpoons at Rox, which was light energy in the shape of short spears. He figured, if his partner-in-crime was adept in wielding fire, he surely would have learned to defend against that.

He also waited to see if Emil and Cleo would clear out of the now ice-encrusted ground before trying something he thought might clear that up. If he tried it while they were skidding about on it now, he might have hurt them, or at least knocked them off-kilter. He wasn't about to shout off what he was going to do, that would've tipped Rox off and made him come up with something to counter it.

Cinkel laughed softly. "Forgive me, Sir Jason. I'll be sure to warn you next time."

Cleo slid a small ways and then fell on her behind. The elf was obviously not expecting that like she knew she should. She snarled at Rox. "I'll bite you!" She waved her hand through the air. "Multiple!" Her four, hands-free swords flew up towards the air and began to increase in number. Then, Cleo slammed her fist on the ground and all but two swords stabbed into the ice and ground. At that, she jumped up onto the hilt of one, nearly falling back on her butt, and balanced herself using the wind.

((Too bad no one has any ice skates. rofl ))

Emil stabbed his sword into the ground then he would slowly try to get up on his feet while trying not to slip on the ice again. He had caught sight of Zaul's attack hitting Rox on the head and chest. His eyes widen when he saw that what came from Rox's wounds weren't blood, but some sort of light blue gel. "Wh...What are you?" He asked. He had the thought that Rox might be a monster, yet he had never seen any monsters that can appear completely human let alone speak. He knew that he was definitely not a Centurion. His only other guess is that Rox might be a demon. "Just who are you guys?" He asked before he saw Rox moved to where Cleo was. He would pull his sword off the ground then slowly move to get away from the ice encased ground.

((I've always wondered if actual animals besides the usual really exist in Aselia. I know there'd be forest creatures like wolves, foxes, deer, rabbits, various birds of prey, etc....but do tigers and other big cats really exist there? If so, in what areas would they be found? O.O))

Zaul's eye only widened slightly at the way Rox "bled". He wouldn't allow himself to show great surprise---a hint of fear would make the enemy more confident. Now with Emil and Cleo leaving quite a space for him to shoot at, he carefully slid over to where he'd be facing Rox's side. Still keeping at a distance, he proceeded to shoot what appeared to be orange glowing energy orbs that phased through the ice and...didn't seem to react quite yet. He planted several of these over a wide area between the three and himself, making sure that none were too close to his teammates.

"Now Cleo...sorry, but here's ta hopin' ya can recover yer swords fairly quickly after what I'm gonna do," he warned, after getting the gist that she was using all those swords she stabbed in the ground like stepping stones.

After he felt he had put enough, he raised one pistol into the air and fired a shot skyward, which unveiled what he intended to pull off---multiple Sonic Bashes. And all at once, all those orbs he planted in the ground exploded, breaking through the ice in the area and throwing about sizable chunks of earth and stone, much of that being tossed in the direction of Rox. This strategy of his also served to free up earth for his teammates to step on---it was rugged, but at least it wasn't slippery.

Since what he just did consumed much energy, he put one pistol into its holster to free a hand for pulling a Pineapple Gel out of a pocket real quick and popping it into his mouth. Then he pulled that pistol back out. All the while, he kept his eye on the battlefield for the next move.

"See that ya do, lad... Never take a dwarf by surprise, or it might just kick yer arse!" Jason punched his open palm to add emphasis to his perfectly true, sage, very good (if he said so himself) advice.
"...Are we there yet?"

Emil had moved out of the way as Zaul blew up the ice. He looked to see that Rox had used a magical barrier to deflect Cleo's spell though was getting hit by the rock and debris. Rather than wanting to make the same mistake, he decided to wait for the right moment to make his move. When he heard Rox address Zaul, he glanced over to Rox. "One-eyed half-breed?" He would then look to Zaul. "Zaul, you're a half-elf?" He asked.
