Virgo watched Castor arrive, and then her face went stony. Protecting the traitor Prince? Who so soon forgot what he owed to others, to the Zodiac--which had given their lives to keep his love's Millennium safe? Let alone his own kingdom. "Castor!" Her tone was hurt, betrayal ringing through the syllables. It wasn't right. None of what the Prince had done was right. She thought Castor must have misunderstood, he must not have seen. That was the only explanation... and then Castor told him what he thought about throwing Chronos, and Virgo relaxed, her grip on the Princess less tight.
Then Neso yanked the Princess away, and Virgo was left standing alone, staring after them. After this, she was going to have to talk to the senshi of summer about holding his ground when in an uncertain situation. But there was time left, so for now she just turned her attention to Ares. Was she demanding that the Prince turn over the Golden Crystal to someone else?...
If anyone, thought Virgo, it should be Helios. Helios was the Priestess of this place. And Helios was trustworthy. She'd never try to kill the Princess... or let the White Moon Princess be threatened. The Zodiac Captain's olive-green eyes flickered to Chronos for a second, before she moved to join--Ares?--and the red-haired senshi who'd attacked Endymion. "Traitor," said Virgo, bitterly. "Centuries of protecting Earth, protecting the White Moon, and you throw our Princess to the Negaverse as your first action?" She looked towards Chronos and Chibimoon, then returned her gaze to Endymion.

Sailor Chibi Hypnos looked disappointed when Polaris said she hadn't seen them but she nodded her head with a bit of hope when she said she would keep an eye out for them. This was enough for now, and the child settled in with a curious eye to Helios. She had heard the other senshi tell them to watch over her, and although there wasn't much she could do, she didn't have anywhere else to go at the moment so she would keep them company.
She certainly had a better view from this location than she had from the other one but whether that was good thing or not would be up to time as events played out in front of the child's eyes as she scanned over the hall of the temple. It was no surprise that the child did not like what she seen: people fighting, blood, and such hatred. She didn't know who many of these people were but she didn't like it. Why couldn't everyone just stop?
The child could hear whispers about a prince. The return of a prince. The child could not see over all of the fighting bodies, and the idea of finding a prince was great. She had to see! She moved around a little to the left, and then a little to the right until she finally got a clear sight of what was happening. She could see Princess Chronos, and a figure who was certainly dressed like a prince. Was that him? Her eyes watched carefully as she seen Princess Chronos go to defend him. Was this the prince she had been talking about? She smiled as she thought about it. She remembered their meeting fondly.
Memories and the present were so much different though and ideas and beliefs are so much different than what actually happened. She had memories of meeting a very nice princess not too long ago in this very realm, and she had beliefs that princes were supposed to protect and guard princesses with their life. What the child seen... what her wide blue eyes had witnessed the so-called prince do... her arms immediately clung to her bunny in her arms. She couldn't belief it. She wouldn't believe it. There was no way this person was a prince. There was so way a prince would do that to a princess -- especially not Princess Chronos!
Her legs were wobbly, and her hopes were crushed. She could barely find herself able to stand as she slowly slide to the ground, her tiny hands resting on the floor below her. She shook her head back and forth, mumbling something about the lies. All the lies. Something about how this was no prince. No prince would do that. Princes were kind and gallant, yes, gallant. She had such a big vocabulary for things involve fairy tales.
Was this like the Ice Princess all over again? Was he some sort of Ice Prince? If it hadn't been for Princess Chronos, Hypnos may have started to believe that what she thought to be true was wrong. Thankfully, her beliefs were still so strong. No, not just her beliefs. Her knowledge. Truth. She knew in her heart, she knew it. She knew that it wasn't just a fairy tale.
She couldn't believe in this so-called prince. She could believe in Mister Birdy, Big Kitty and the wish-granting ocras from the Rainbow Ice Land. She could believe in Cora, Themis and his partner. She could believe in her sister and Xavier. She could believe in love, and she could believe in hope but she could not believe that this person was a prince.
"Not a prince... not a prince..."
Birthright or not. He was not a prince by Hypnos' standards.
Her eyes were teary, her thoughts were a mess. How many fake princes and princesses would this child stumble upon. Who would want to dirty the name of such a wonderful thing? Her hand moved to wipe the corner of her eyes as she slowly looked up and landed on Endymion. There was no Prince attached to it. Just Endymion. Her eyes. They were not the eyes she would look at a prince with, they were not even the eyes she would look at a negaverse soldier with. They were the eyes she looked at the Ice Princess with and they were cold, ice cold. Their colour matched, and her face was broken to match her heart. How could this be?
She slowly stood to her feet, her eyes not leaving him other than to find Princess Chronos. The child just didn't understand, and her eyes fell back on the Golden Fairy. Her eyes could only soften in the light it resonated with. It gave her hope, hope that this would all stop. Hope that they would all just wake up and find out this was a horrible dream. A prince would not do that, something about this was not right. It was not right!
By this time the child had wandered a few steps over to where Princess Chronos and Virgo were standing. She looked up at Virgo, giving her long bow tail a small tug while her other hand held her bunny loosely in her hand. She didn't say anything, but her face was covered in worry. Her face looked like it had been absolutely betrayed.

Cora arrived in the location where she had left Hypnos. At least she thought so this was the place. But there was no Hypnos around there anymore. Oh no.
"Hypnos!" the cat yelled, worried. "Hypnos, where are you?"
The cat started to spring aimlessly around, leaving little tears behind her. Guilty filled her mind. She should not have never left from her sweet embrace. From her tender care. From her side.
"Hypnos, I'm sorry!"
But then she stumbled against a bunny slipper. What? Who? The cat looked up.
"HYPNOS!"
Pink eyes sparkled happiness and soon creamy-colored cat was in little senshi's arms again. She pushed her cheek against her chest hard and started to purr loudly. She was so happy!
"I'm sorry I left you. I felt I needed to protect the prince and then this one girl crashed me down and I lost you and I got so worried....Ouch, careful there...."
Should Hypnos examine her closer, she would find that Cora would make little hisses and tiny tiny cries when she touched certain places on her back or feet. She tried to hide those little whimpers but it was clear that she had got injuries.
"Can we go home now? I want you to read me that book where is that princess with long hair...."

Nothing was going quite as he had intended; not this particular battle, not the attacks he had already taken... Not a damn thing about any of it. This wasn't really going the way he had intended either. He should have just attacked her from the start, damning everything but taking action.
The whip struck him but this time he was ready for it, taking the attack while feeding off of the energy he could feel coming from it. This was not the time to back down; not yet, not when they still didn't know, especially given that horrible display, just whose side this Endymion was on.
Instead of just standing there, waiting for the attack to end, Lieutenant Richterite charged forward, flinging his deck of Magic cards in MuCephi's face.

Mica saw that smirk. She saw it just in time for warning bells to go off in her head, but not for her to add two plus two, and certainly not enough time to change her action. All she had time to do was to realize that the dandy-boy had smirked and then her head exploded with pain.
Ow!
Gritting her teeth, Mica stood tense as she waited for the spots in her visions to clear. The pain didn’t help her reasoning abilities, but she finally got it. That Senshi’s magic was making her feel her own attacks. That was dirty, cheap and dirty. He could be the worst fighter in the world, but all he had to do was use his dirty magic and then sit there and live long enough for his opponent to beat themselves up.
No-good, rotten… “ Damn dirty magic.”
This was a fight Mica was no longer interested in. She wasn’t into self-harm, especially not when she was wasting time and energy that she could use beating up less annoying Senshi.

Hugbell had blinked, "What Bird and what Kitty?" She asked Hypnos and then eventually pointed over towards cora, who had cat ears and a tail. "That's a big kitty...." She said before she lost sight of such thing. It was true Cora was currently a big house cat, it probably wouldn't've registered that Hypnos was talking about a leopard and a quail...
"However, I don't really think this is the place for that though... I really don't think animals are safe here" She added with a frown thinking of how unsafe it was for them if they couldn't fight and all the chaos, she caught what looked to be someone stabbing someone else. "We need to keep Helios safe...."
Butter yellow eyes were staring at Hypnos with all seriousness before they turned once more to the blood shed in time to see Chronos' Tiara fly, "... She's like Chibimoon?" The small yellow clad senshi seemed impressed then Prince Endymion shoved Chronos away from him towards that nega with the arm. She blinked but he was wounded? "Odd...."
He seemed to have been caught off guard though and Hugbell looked slightly confused and frowned. Turning to Helios wondering if the priestess had an explanation. "Why... is he not fighting? Why won't he fight back?" She asked softly curious yellow eyes looking towards the priestess. "Can't he protect himself?"
*edit*
Hugbell had looked to see where Hypnos was to find she was no longer there. "HEY.... where are you going, get back here it's dangerous over there!" Even Hugbell wasn't about to go over to where the main brawl was she stayed near Helios. "ohh.... she's going to get killed."

Foramen made his sliiightly unsteady way over to where the main action seemed to be happening. It was a slow journey, ducking other skirmishes and avoiding Negas on the lookout for a new target. There was a crunch when he sidestepped a magical attack only to step on the outstretched arm of a fallen figure.
"Sorry," he said automatically. Glancing down, he found the figure with their arm now bent at a weird angle was actually a Negaverse Lieutenant. "Oh. Or not. Carry on." He gave the dispisable Nega wave of dismissal before continuing over to where Ares' crazy gang, the new prince, Virgo and many others were.
He'd completely missed whatever had happened. Of all the senshi gathering and arguing, he had the most familiarity with Virgo, who seemed pissed off on account of her princess. Chronos? Foramen wondered. Just what the hell had someone done to the leader of the Zodiacs? Foramen felt a stab of irritation. He'd risked his own butt to get that little group formed together, and then they were Zue's charges on top of that.
"Alright, alright, people are pissed," he said. "No kid needs to hear that kind of stuff about their parent, though."
He settled himself near Chibimoon, who was attended by Themis and several others. "Yo, chibi princess," he greeted her with a tiny wave. "Maybe it's time for you to wake up, hmm? I dunno if you want to hang around for the adult talk."
Considering that the 'adult talk' looked like it was going to break down into a fistfight sometime soon. Especially if Ares and her bloodthirsty minions had their way. Though Virgo looked like she might help on that score, too.
Foramen sighed. Somehow he doubted the little princess was going to want to leave. That was her dad, after all, whom she'd thought was dead. Foramen wouldn't leave, if he was in her shoes. But still he couldn't help but think that this was going to go badly, and the little girl was going to end up hurt.

Would it be smarter to continue restraining Alumo, or smarter to let him go and be done with it? Ganymede really couldn’t decide. He could see the pros and cons of each, and wasn’t yet sure which would be the better option. In lieu of the internal conflict, and with very few other options being presented to him considering the battle seemed to be winding down, Ganymede kept a firm grasp, even as his feet left the ground when Alumo found the ability to stand.
“Yes, well…” Ganymede said, pausing for a moment as the Captain attempt to fling him off. “Seems like they’re trying to have an important discussion over there,” he observed, glancing over Alumo’s shoulder to see Endymion and the gathering of Senshi around him. “If you want to throw yourself in the middle of it, by all means, go right ahead. I don’t think I’d mind holding you still while they got a few good punches in.”
The fighting seemed to have lost a bit of its intensity since the Negaverse general had left so abruptly. Ganymede wasn’t sure what the deal with that was, but it was at least somewhat encouraging. There were still a few smaller skirmishes going on here and there, but nothing on the scale of what it had been just before Endymion had appeared out of nowhere. Ganymede was glad for it, even as his heart continued to pound and he struggled to prevent Alumo from throwing him off and marching right back into the thick of things.
He’d almost forgotten their purpose here—the Golden Crystal. It seemed the intent to take the crystal had been lost among the fighting and the sudden arrival of the prince, and the battle had changed to one of confusion and broken trust, one more personal, with more inner turmoil, than a simple bout of one side versus another.

"I don't know." Flora said in return to Lyra, biting her lip. "I have been struggling with this dilemma too." What if a Negaverse agent was someone she knew and cared about? Even if she tried to limit her circle of friends to those she knew as senshi? They could be corrupted one day, like Hel, like Alkaid...
"Whenever you need me, I'll be there." She told her teammate with a firm nod, turning only to see Endymion shove Chronos towards Tanzanite. Her breath caught in her throat, and Flora looked back at Lyra, panicked. "W-what... what is going on?"
They were too far away to do anything however, and Flora could watch everything play out, only dashing forward to where her Princess was after Tanzanite disappeared.
-----
Take it away? Chronos could only stare at Endymion in muted shock, confusion overwhelming her. She would never take Chibimoon away, would never take Princess Serenity away... they were both her relations she cared very deeply about, despite never meeting the latter in this life. Why on Earth would the Prince think that she would rip everything away? She had no intention of doing so... did he not remember her?
She would have opened her mouth to refute this ridiculous statement, but she was shoved in Tanzanite's direction, looking up at the General with wide eyes. The shock of the action froze Chronos entirely, but unexpectedly... Tanzanite did not attack her. Instead she spoke words that echoed her thoughts... and did Tanzanite just... bow? It was a blow of confusion after another, and Chronos watched in horror as Tanzanite disappeared and reappeared while grasping Chibimoon. "NO! Let her go! Please!"
"I don't know, Neso." She spoke dazedly, clutching his arm, gaze focused on Chibimoon. She barely registered Virgo's protective green light falling over her, only rushing forward with Neso towards Chibimoon as Tanzanite disappeared. "Wait." She said suddenly, pulling her hand out of Neso's. "Make sure she's alright, Neso." With this, Princess Chronos turned back to where Virgo stood, gaze falling upon Hypnos. Wordlessly, she patted the young girl's head, in an attempt to soothe her, although she herself was feeling almost as betrayed at this point.
"Virgo." Chronos spoke, giving her Captain a firm glare. It was true that she did partly agree with her words; Endymion had not acted like the Prince she had remembered. She turned to face Endymion, addressing him directly. "Where did you come from? How did you get here?" There was no title; Chronos did not feel the need for it at this moment. What if this man was not Endymion?

Maia frowned her mouth dropping open when the little general literally teleported away. How could she possibly have forgotten about that little trade. She was now more irritated than before and made to follow him except Endymion shout caught her attention in time to see him shoving Chronos as Tanzanite. Her jaw dropped in disbelief before her face lit up in anger. How could he do that?!?
In Maia moment of shock she found herself literally tackled to the ground by a negaverser resembling a linebacker, his shouldered ramming right into her stomach and lifting her clean off the ground before she was slammed back into it. She gasped before groaning loudly, as the wind was knock clean out of her. She lay still as he stood looking down at her with a grin before making to kick her in the side.
The kick didn't connect as Maia rolled away. She was winded and in pain, but damned if she was going to have that footprint tatooed to her side for a week. She hopped up quickly as the boy made to tackle her again and she spun and kicked her leg out, aiming to kick him as hard as her body would allow without breaking her leg.
The kick connected and she was certain the negaverser saw stars as her collasped clutching his nethers. "Serves, you right," Maia said before turning to locate Endymion once more. She spotted him with a gather crowd, which included a few BMCers, Ares being one of them. Maia quickly ran over wanting answers.
She weaved around the other and took a place near Ares, glaring daggers at Endymion for the stunt he had chosen to pull.

A glove had been pulled off to wipe at the blood and try to staunch the flow down her cheek and neck. No doubt she was going to have blood all over her sheets again and Perry was going to be furious. Oh damnation...Perry! Eyes closed for a moment and the young girl sank to the marble steps to close her eyes. The Negaverse had gone with their charismatic general for the most part, but there wasn't anything the crowd of senshi around her couldn't handle.
She wasn't going to cry. Everyone was watching her now and Castor had done the best he could to make sure she had a guard so she would not be in danger and would not fall apart.
Looking over at Foramen she smiled just a bit awkwardly and shook her head. "I am an adult now. It is very important that I am here. He is my father." It was important that while her emotions had settled and there was clarity, to understand the situation. It was inarguable that this man was Endymion and Endymion was of course her birth father.
But he shouldn't have been here.
"Thank you very much for your thoughts."

All of it slipped from his gasped in a rush. Tanzanite failed to destroy Chronos as he had ordered and instead went after his daughter, the one target he hoped to protect. While he was now free to breathe and the smoke was settling, he looked up with wide eyes as his own daughter was taken hostage. And there, held by the reattached hand that had formed back on the woman that was bent on causing the same pain she seemed to suffer, the same loss, he stood still. A single move could set Tanzanite off, and he thought of what he could do. It was not that he didn't want to, Chibimoon was his child, his family, his blood, and they had only just reunited, but it was that his abilities were limited. As everyone else felt he was capable of blowing the place to smithereens, Prince Endymion could not. He had no such power.
And so it was with luck that Chibimoon was saved and, for whatever reasons, Tanzanite left. He breathed out a sigh of relief, but it did not last for long. There had been repercussions and he was quickly surrounded on all sides. Anger, disappointment, and confusion set on the face of those around him, but they were not his main focus. He looked to the one that mattered. His daughter, and stood firm in place, very aware of the circle surrounded him and preventing escape.
"I am Prince Endymion, Protector and Ruler of Earth, and father to Princess Chibimoon." His eyes softened as he said her name. "Chibimoon, you belong on my side and not to those who are traitors to our kingdom. Be aware of your duties and obligations to your planet, to your blood, and see that I have your best interest at heart." He wished she would come to his side, and waited for her to come. Hadn't she rushed to his side eagerly before? Why not now?
"I am here for the Golden Crystal as is my birthright as prince and its keeper."

There was a pained look in Neso's eye for a brief flicker when Chronos asked him to leave her side. But he was not one to object, not to anyone, least of all his Princess. "Be safe," he murmured and then did precisely as he was told, coming up beside Chibimoon, Themis, Foramen, and all the others surrounding her.
The oversized Senshi of Summer towered over the little princess. Blue eyes flickered between the assorted senshi. "Why does everyone look so worried?" Then to the pink girl, "Chibimoon, your dad is here, and he has a plan." Neso sounded supremely confident. He clapped a hand on Chibimoon's shoulder. "Can I do anything?" Endymion spoke again, and Neso turned to face him.
And he was, conveniently, blocking the fact that Endymion had shoved the thing he loved most in this entire world into the path of a deadly Nega. Neso simply couldn't allow himself to believe it to be true. He was not capable of it.

Ares hated being ignored. She really, really, really hated being ignored. Apparently, Endymion was cool with ignoring everyone.
The rage rattled in her fingertips, and she had to clench them to keep from swinging. What the flying ******** was he trying to say? Traitors. Traitors. It was like Endymion had been cursed with a case of point-missing-thoughtless-moron. Did he not see the angry crowd with their pitchforks? Did he not understand that the people standing around him deserved more than this?
Suddenly, Ares regretted not letting Birhan just knock him in the face.
A sneer crossed her lips. "He is not on our side," she said lowly, just a few feet from Endymion. There were so many around them. Ares knew she opposed the Negaverse, even if she didn't always see eye-to-eye with other senshi. In this moment, she felt more like an ally of the White Moon than their own goddamn prince.
Ares shifted weight, drew her torch at her side. "Just listen to him. Open your ears: this royal Prince is not on our side. Senshi, we rise or fall together -- and mark my words, he is NOT with us." Gray eyes flickered to Chronos. "No one let him take Chibimoon." Chibimoon was a bargaining chip. That was all Ares saw her as. But she knew the others saw her as much more.
No, no, no. This was all wrong. Even someone who was not of this existence could feel it. Ares touched at Birhan's wrist. She tapped a pattern to her, one that the ISS had developed to communicate messages when direct speech was not possible. The system was in process still and only capable of sending small, basic signals. Ares could only hope Birhan remembered it well enough to understand:
Target strikes. We return strike.
In this battle, Ares would not throw the first punch. She needed everyone to see what the rulers of old were made of; she needed them to see that their trust was worthless if placed in Endymion. If a move was to be made, Endymion would be the one to do it. He would cast his lot all on his own.
And Ares would retaliate to prove her own point.

Finally, once Chronos was near, Virgo's protection melted away; the Captain sagged, minutely, both at the energy she'd lost and the reprimand from her princess. Yes. Of course she couldn't end the prince of Earth right here. And maybe he had a reason for being a--Polite words failed Virgo, and she stepped just slightly in front of Chronos. Not enough to stop her from talking to Endymion, but enough that it was clear that anyone approaching Chronos would have to go through her veiled Captain.
"Then take it, espèce de connard," said Virgo, her anger overwhelming her again, despite her Princess's admonishment. He spoke of betrayal, when he forgot his own debts of honor! The one world that had not taken in a Zodiac planet, the one world who'd benefited from the Zodiac Court's sacrifice--it was this Prince who attempted to murder her Princess. "It's right there! No one is stopping you!" None of them had the right to. She stepped aside to clear a path and threw an arm out, indicating the Crystal on its pedestal. Every muscle in that limb practically vibrated with her desire to do something, to react to this offense against her Princess. The same princess demanded she control herself, and she did.
