Two announcements:
-On May 9th, there will be another WiFi giveaway, this time a Darkrai. No other details available yet, save for it's intended for the English games
-Another tournament will be starting in the next couple weeks; registration for the Spring Friendly opens on May 2nd, and the battles run from May 10th to May 14th.

The Darkrai event is active; the end date hasn't been announced yet, so get it before they decide to shut it down.
The tournament's underway, and I'm off to a horrible start; of 11-12 battles, I've only won two. I'm almost 100 points under my starting score already... sweatdrop

2nd day in went far better than the first; I've made up for the string of losses and now have a net positive score of 1542 after 32 battles total.
I've also got a couple video codes to share. (Odd how the first two came up so close in terms of the ID numbers, but whatever)

Dude... I am in awe of this trainer. I don't usually like keeping a Loss as a Battle Recording, but the ingenious strategy this guy used against me is definitely worth seeing

Maaaan, how do you train a Solosis?! It always dies after one hit!
Is Hidden Power any good?
With some testing, I found out my Solosis' Hidden Power is Psychic-type. Not very sure whether I should keep it (because Psyshock only has 10PP). I barely get chances to test how strong it is cos' Solosis always dies...

Hidden Power's damage output varies pokemon to pokemon, just like its type does... Psyshock has a base damage of 80. Since both are Psychic moves on your Solosis, I would have it learn both moves, then see which one does more damage against the same type of wild pokemon, and decide on which one to keep based on your test results.
As for your dies-in-one-hit issue, you may be able to get more longevity out of it by giving it Eviolite to hold. That'll ramp up its defenses while it's not fully evolved. (It evolves into its final form, Reuniclus, at Lv41).

Nice! Once I beat Pokemon White I wanna try my hand at the WiFi tournaments too.
I just caught meself a Litwick (cos' it's so adorable and all), and my Duosion's gotten pretty strong since so long as it survives the first hit, it takes anything out in one hit.
Not very sure whether I should be putting them both in the same team.
Two suuuuper Sp. Attackers in one team... Is that a good idea?

My general philosophy is "as long as they're not duplicating type, they can cooperate". So I'd say they're fine together as a Fire/Ghost and a Psychic, even if they're both Special Attack powerhouses.
If it were, say, a Zoroark and a Hydreigon on the other hand, I would recommend choosing one, as they both are Dark types.
A word of advice before you go into the WiFi Tournaments; go through the Battle Subway a few times to earn enough BP to buy good Hold Items (like Focus Sash).

I usually equip all the attackers with Life Orbs, and all the tanks with Leftovers or something alike.

If you plan on battling in the WiFi Tournaments, you'll have to get other items for them; only one of each kind of item is allowed to be carried. So only one Life Orb per team.

Oh well.
After beating Ghetsis the next few bunch of trainers all have Lv. 65 Pokemon. WTFFFFF
And my team averaged around Lv. 48. Freaked me out.
Durant is so boss. Why does it not evolve :'(

HEY, just an update to let everyone know I finally got round to accessing my router - switched off all the security and now I can connect to wireless again ^^ Trades and battles and dream world and such are open to me once more! 8D
Sure, now my router is totally exposed and whatever, BUT POKEMON, so who cares o3o
