Red smiled and took the chocolate sauce, then drizzled it all over the cake. "The caaaaaaake's ready!", she yelled.

Hadie smiled and took the first piece before every one rushed to the kitchen to get some.

Red cut a large piece for herself then began to cut slices for everyone else, handing them out as they came to get some.

"Come on, Love," Hadie said as he followed his mom to the living room.

Red nodded and followed. When Hadie sat on the arm chair in the living room, she sa on his lap. She took a bite of their cake and nodded, satisfied,"Good, eh?"

Every one nodded and there was a mummer of agreement as they stuffed their faces with cake. Including Hadie.

Red gave a slight smile, then frowned and swallowed hard. She looked up, her eyebrows knit together and asked,"Hadie?" She took a few deep breaths then said that she was going upstairs.

Hadie's eyes widened and then asked every one to go home, and they did. He told Artemis telepathically to go to Dad's tonight and he ran up the stairs, taking them 2 and 3 at a time. "It'll be okay, I promise," He said to REd when he reached her.

Red collapsed on their bed, clutching her head and she shook it, muttering that it wasn't okay, that it hurt. She hated all of this, and she wanted it to stop. She hated being a monster, someone that hurt people. She was sweating, like she was having a nightmare, and shaking.

Hadie sat on the bed next to Red and pulled her into his lap and rested her head on his chest and stroked her hair and soothingly shushed her.

Red shook and tried to get away- she didn't want him to get hurt by her. She started, slowly, to change into her wolf form. She tried to surpress it, but finally let out a shrill shriek.
