As Ares ditched, so did Tanzanite, somehow finding her way back into a dead sprint alongside the others. Orcas jumped along the sides, often speeding by her, and in a last ditch effort to make up for her lost time, she leapt for one.

Grabbing at fairy lights ended up being a waste of time. It was slightly disappointing when they vanished -- but only slightly. It just seemed rather pointless to him, but then nothing about this evening was making much sense -- even less so than usual.
More than the disappointment, Ganymede was growing tired of running. Not physically weary, just tired of the tediousness of it all. Avoiding people was great. Making it around without being hurt was fantastic. For once it seemed as if he was having an uneventful night, which was how he preferred it when it came to this stuff.
His ride on the orca before had actually been quite pleasant, so when one lept up and made a noise at him, Ganymede saw nothing wrong with attempting another ride. He jumped, and hoped he landed where he intended.

Scylla watched the Orcas leaping next to them. It would be so easy to just reach out, grab one of the playful little beasts, and tug it into her maw.
.....
Or not.
Instead, the Senshi of the Kraken decided to hitch a ride, leaping onto the nearest Orca and taking her chances.

After a while the lights disappeared, leaving Sinon quite disappointed. She frowned, but urged herself to keep running. Even if she felt sad, she couldn’t stop running! She pouted, but immediately smiled when Sheldon rejoined her and Hugbell. “As much as I miss those fairy lights!” she answered. He nor Hugbell didn’t spend much time with her afterwards, however. As Sheldon looked to the side he silently jumped on orca and it worked. Shortly afterwards the chibi senshi also jumped.
Sinon’s mouth formed a wide ‘o’ as her face lit up with startled delight. “We can ride them?! I-I wanna try!” Closing her eyes, Sinon ran and jumped.

She hopped on the band orca, so to speak.

The fairy lights seemed to frolic together, fluttering around the child for a moment before they began to fade. Sailor Chibi Hypnos watched as the fairy lights disappeared almost as quickly as they had appeared. She smiled, waving her hand back and forth as she bid them goodbye. She hoped they would come again. They were so friendly and had such a pretty glow. They were almost light stars in the sky!
After she had bid them goodbye, as if with them, the scenery around her began to melt away into what could only be described as a blur. She couldn't help but pace back and forth as she was eager to run more. She looked around, and soon an orca seemed to leap up a long side of the child with the rainbow bird companion. She looked at quail, and then to the orca. She waved, and tilted her head. All around her others were attempting to get onto the back of the orcas and the child was curious.
"You want us to come on?" She asked the orca for both her and the rainbow quail. The orca seemed to chattered at her in response, and what the child took as a yes. The child smiled at it and gave a little bow as she politely replied with a, "Please allow us safe passage," to the orca before she turned her head to the rainbow quail on her shoulder. "Hold on tight!" Then the child leaned over the edge of the island, looking at the orca before she made a new leap of faith towards the orca's back.
Successfully, she and the rainbow quail landed safely onto its back and she smiled, giving the orca a pat on its head. What a sweet creature.

Grin broadening on her face, she couldnt help but smile as the other Lieutenant and herself successfully landed themself on two of the the rainbow orcas. Fayalites herself was a bright orange in color, it reminded her of.well... an orange. "You know, im totally NOT going to want to remember this dream." She glowered suddenly serious at Moonstone.
"But i gotta admit, part of this is KIND of fun!" She really was enjoying herself partially, minus the singing. The singing needed to die in a monotone firey rage put or non colorful.
"Race you?" She said - not intending to but as she kicked her heels on the orca... as one would a horse, the thing SHOT forward.

He gave up on trying to predict this place. Wolframite was against drugs, but he sure felt as if he was on some sort of high. The feeling of running on air made him feel just as light and downright magical as this entire sick, sparkly trip was, and he was pretty sure if he spotted a unicorn or dancing cherubs at this point that it would make a difference in the end to how crack-ish this entire thing was. Yes, he knew that wasn't a word, but he didn't have anything else in his vocabulary that would describe this trip he was going on. He also was in the mood for something sugary now and decided that come morning, he was going to eat some sugary, violent colored cereal for once in his life.
Following the running of the Negas and senshi, he then watched as the orcas took flight and started to jump like large dolphins and started to chat in their strange language. Did one just wave a fin at him?
Whatever strange idea popped in someone's head, fighters on both sides started to jump on the creatures and surf on them as they all headed to another island. It seemed the crazy road was coming to an end and, again, shrugging, he went to take a jump and see if he could add 'Orca Riding' to his list of things he did today.

What? First the lights disappeared, and now everyone suddenly decided to jump on whales?? Wonderful! That was just... just wonderful. Not.
Alumo frowned at the idea of jumping on an orca, but it seemed like it was the only way to keep from getting left behind. And he definitely didn't want to end up alone in this horribly cold and rainbowy place. Seriously.
With a running leap, Alumo flung himself off the solid ground and hopefully land on the spunky orca that jumped out of the water beside him to squeak at him.

While he was being carried along by his friendly but admittedly slow orca, Ganymede happened to notice a certain Captain Alumo take a running jump and fall into what was probably some very frigid water as he failed in his attempts to mount another whale. While Ganymede definitely knew better than to make light of Alumo now that he'd faced him and almost come out of the confrontation dead, he still couldn't help but chuckle over the Captain's predicament as his own whale went sailing by.
His chuckles soon turned into laughter. Very loud laughter.
And then he stuck his tongue out at him and flipped him off as he passed, just because he could get away with it.

The longer Zircon remained in this rainbowed dreamland, the less she seemed to care for the cacophonous entropy of the place, or for the fact that her entire figure was sporting a shade of yellow-green that was entirely opposed to her color scheme. Nevertheless, the urge driving her forward was more pressing than her silent nagging, and following the cue from others, dove for the nearest orca in the hopes that it would offer her the edge she required to get ahead. The whale in question seemed to sag a bit as she caught hold, and yawned when she urged it forward.
So much for her edge.

Every cell in his body seemed to be pushing him forward. It wasn't enough to simply keep pace or even try to conserve energy for the fight ahead. No, the urge to sprint ahead of everyone was far to strong to resist. He almost felt like a dog chasing a car, unaware of the rest of the world with his only fixation pushing him to run forward. Unfortunately, he was unable to catch any of the dancing lights, but he was able to maintain his vigor and desire to beat the Negaverse in this strange obstacle race.
As the track descended a bit, he found himself on a more equal footing with the orca that frolicked below. Their singing had been calming yet eerie at the same. Boreas wasn't even aware that they could sing, let along harmonize. However, as he found himself closer to the edge of the track, he noticed they seemed to be talking, almost as if beckoning him to jump on. He noticed others had come to the same conclusion and without hesitation, jumped towards the closest orca. The beast seemed to be goading him on to do so, but he wasn't sure if it would work to his advantage or not.

This land was beyond strange. When Maia arrived she felt in such good spirits despite knowing what was coming. How could she possibly be happy. She was helping to invade someone else homeland even though she really just wanted to keep it safe. Not only that, sleeping was on a verge of impossible because you close you eyes and you are thrown into this world, where you aren't even wanted.
The fighting broke out around her and of course the BMC was right in the thick of it. It amused her for a few moments before she went to help them, but suddenly their was a rainbow bridge and everyone was running and she was too. She was running quickly to, hands clasped over her ears for they were being assaulted by singing, and mostly terrible singing at that. She just want to be away from the noise, so much so that she nearly ran straight off a cliff, jumping at the last moment and landing on the other side. Oh, how lucky.
Then came the fairies, feel good fairies that everyone was trying to catch. She found herself gently plucking them from the air, smiling and feeling a bit better as the singing had lessened and she did not have to hear the awful serenade around her.
Orca, the lovely creatures were now swimming up and a few passing and so Maia thought to hop a ride wanting to get the island up ahead and it seemed most everyone had the same idea. Although actually catching a ride seemed to be achieved with varied results, Maia knew she ought to give it a try and so she jumped.

Oh, what the hell??
Just as he leapt from the ice to the orca, the damn thing decided to submerge back under the water, Alumo's dark eyes widening in shock for the split second he was left in the air, before landing with a splash into the freezing cold water. He let out a yelp of displeasure once he resurfaced, glaring at the same orca who had abandoned him, as it came back up to squeak some more at him, as though it was laughing.
"What the hell?!" he shouted, clearly angry and childishly splashing water at the dumb whale. Yeah, like that did anything.
No matter. At least he wasn't the only one in the water. He glanced over at Wolframite as he resurfaced, frowning still as he tried to swim to the orca who thought it was funny to see him in the water. "Trouble, Captain?" he wondered, though he knew the younger officer was probably just as displeased as he was.
Of course, that was also before he saw that Senshi again — the one who he couldn't tell what gender it was! He growled at Ganymede's laughing, remembering him very well and how he got away. Well, he just got lucky last time.
Raising his hand, he summoned his weapon, before hurling the seven foot quarterstaff at the back of Ganymede's head. That'll show him.
