Hit the base, eh? Bellatrix nodded and made her attempt at a physical attack on it. She had no weapon and she had exhausted her attacks. She didn't hold much confidence in her ability to deliver decent blows with her fists or kicks, but hopefully violent rage would work.
...
Not enough rage.

Sailor Adhafera was more than happy to attack the snowglobes - she'd never really liked them, had she? Hadn't it all been a lie spun by the 'princess' before them?
Maybe they weren't as powerless afterall. They'd just been hitting the wrong target...
It would be near impossible to get a clear shot; there were enough people around the throne that getting close enough to deliver a direct strike would be a fool's errand. Instead, Adhafera ducked backwards, heading for that tilted tree... hopefully it would hold her weight!
She scrambled up the thing, pulling icicles free from the branches as she climbed, wincing as the sharp edges nipped at her fingers. But the tilted top of the tree was just barely high enough to give her a shot... either that, or she'd impale someone else.
Adhafera waited for an opening, then let fly with the longest, sharpest icicles she'd collected. Only two had been deemed worthy (both in strength and in theoretical ability to fly true), but she flung them as best she could...

For a moment, she looked down at her toes, uncertain. It was true there was that thousand-year gap...
"The last time I was alive, she never came through." Absolute certainty. She had no true gaps in her memory, not that she knew of. "Not from the day I was born, to the day I died," she informed him. "She may have come here since, or before--much before. The Zodiacs protected this system. We would have made note of such a powerful enemy." After all, how many senshi were fighting now? And how many of the scum were getting in the way--and they'd only just started to make headway, too. How could the Zodiac have held her off if she'd come to this one system out of the hundreds inside just this galaxy? It rankled to wonder that, but as far as she knew the entire Zodiac had never been wiped out--and that's what would have happened, by her estimation.
Pessimistic, but... Virgo was feeling that that was the order of the day, anymore.

Hugbell watched Chibimoon fall after her attack. "Chibimoon!" She called as she rushed over to her older companion, "Are you okay?"
She was trying to help the older pink clad senshi up. She was too small to pick the other up but she could try, she looked worried for the older senshi.

"Hit the base?" Azzo questioned as he watched the others, looking at Polaris and then back at the base and then to Polaris again. He grinned, "We can do that can't we?" A short chuckle as he seemed to ponder what he was fixing to do, obviously it was probably something pretty stupid.
He started kicking at an icicle. Trying to break it. "Shame we don't have a car for you to throw at her." This time he was actually pretty serious. Polaris could be the like Hulk if she wanted, well sans the fact she wouldn't be green.

The tides of the battle seemed to be changing somewhat, or perhaps it was renewed hope that had Nemesis looking differently at the situation. Someone had figured out how to hurt the b***h, and while Nemesis would rather have figured it out on her own, she was more than ready to jump on this knowledge. "Alkaid!" she called out quickly, drawing her companion's attention to the turn of events. She was sure the girl was quick enough to catch on to what they needed to do without Nemesis walking her through it.
While Nemesis wasn't eager to get anywhere near Ice b***h, the woman seemed to be wearing down. Whatever was being done to her was working, and Nemesis was going to jump onto this train. Now still would have been the best time to have some sort of weapon, and silently she cursed Alkaid for throwing that manhole cover like a disc... and losing it. What a waste of a weapon! Nemesis hardly had the strength to launch another magical assault, she had never been capable of using her attack more than once in the span of a night. Perhaps she hadn't been pushing herself hard enough... But, that was for later.
She charged forward, lifting a large chunk of ice off the ground, and using the momentum of her body, hurled the large piece of ice at the base of Ice b***h's throne.

Virgo had Kurma's full attention -- he'd turned on his invisible seat to face her properly, leaning forward to listen like a kid by a campfire listening to a good story. It was apparent he liked hearing them, as in spite of the situation at hand, he seemed pretty enthralled to learn about this aspect of the Sol system.
There was one thing, however, that stuck out funny in the story; one word that didn't have an immediate recollection in his memory banks.
"...What's a 'Zodiac?'"

The world glittered, all ice and snow and glass as Tanzanite's body collided with Kaguya's icy pillar. The ringing filled her ears and shattered all focus, filling her mind with that dissonant sound. She struggled to her feet, the youma arm screeching an unholy noise as it struggled to push sharp spikes of ice out of it's thick, scaly skin. By the time the Captain was back on her feet, she somewhat resembled a porcupine, shards of ice sticking out here and there, dripping blood onto the pretty white snow.
She smiled, and each of her teeth was outlined with blood. Tanzanite spit off to the side, ignoring the howling monster that hung at her side as the bloody icicles dropped one by one to the ground. The monster seemed to recuperate slowly, the spines at her shoulder twisting in anger.
“Over?” They said together, and the voice was clearly just as much the monster's as it was Tanzanite's, “Oh, Castor. This will never be over.” While the spoke, the monster had been sucking up bits of shattered glass and ice, chewing up snow globes before Tanzanite leveled it at him the same way she had done to Kaguya in the beginning of the fight. This time, though, the artillery was not blunt chunks of brick. They were tiny, sharp spikes of glass and ice, and they flew towards Castor in a deadly barrage.

Much to Ainsley's dismay, she was still being ignored in her attempts to get the attention of the ice princess so that she could reason with her. The ice princess was so consumed with things Ainsley had a hard time understanding. She seemed to be infatuated with her beauty, and her face, and generally seemed to desire nothing more than to take over this... planet? Ainsley thought she maybe misheard that one part. She did finally understand that the ice princess wanted to freeze them all, possibly only because of her own shivering and numbing body. She couldn't even move to get the attention of her dear snow dancer friend Gwenliana so that she could try and keep her away from all the trouble.
There were so many people getting hurt, so many people trying to stop the ice princess. As Ainsley could only look around and watch, she could feel tears swell up in her eyes only to start to freeze due to the falling temperature. Frozen hands grasping at her face as she realized there was now ice clinging to it. Not just her face, the entire area was joining her. She shook her head in disbelief. No one had ever said anything like this would happen! Then everything got worse. The princess said she wasn't going to let them live anymore? This was just wrong! Wrong wrong wrong.
"No, no, no!" She cried weakly, trying to move from her spot. She couldn't though and she did the only thing she could manage to do: close her eyes tightly and squeeze her arms around the white plush bunny Octavian Oswald as she made small sniffling noises.
"I'm sorry Octavian Oswald," she said as she tried to keep the plush bunny warm. A second later there was a rumbling in the ground, and then someone grabbed her! She was not in that spot anymore! But... but who grabbed her? She couldn't even manage to let out a protest as she felt the warm from the other body surround her and as she seen the ice that had come out of the ground where she had been standing. The icicles were twice her size! She heard something. Someone's voice was talking to her. She couldn't bring herself to speak and instead only meekly shook her head at the young man.
In the cold her cheeks were suddenly burning with a pin prickle sort of sensation and soon she found herself looking up at Zephyr from below his arm. She had been saved again.

"Whoa there, Gunn. Don't knock yourself out of the ring yet." Seconds later, there was a blond male by her side. Judging by that purely idiotic grin he had on, it was clear that the gravity of the situation hadn't quite gotten to him. His eyes scanned around, hoping to see.. well, she wasn't here.
But Gunn was, at least.
He looked forward, green eyes focused on the ice queen in front of them. He was late for the party. He was driving home when shouts and the giant commotion drew his attention on the motorcycle, his entrance delayed by parking. (Who figured? In the middle of a world crisis, police never failed to hand out tickets.)

As fascinating as the conversation between the two of them had been, though it had gone much the same as her previous conversations with Kurma (that is, leaving her with far many more questions than he'd given answers for). The sight of a small blue haired senshi-ette caught her attention. What on earth was Hugbell doing out in the middle of all of this? "Someday I would like to talk to you Kurma, without so many distractions. Maybe someday." With a nod and a peace sign, Perseus sped off towards the almost princess and the little sailor. Picking up an enchanted icicle, she hurled it javelin style at the throne of the queen before skidding to a halt near the mysterious senshi in the coat, and the pair of brightly haired girls. "Hugbell, are you alright?"
There was something about Hugbell that made Perseus feel like she had to protect her. Seeing Hugbell seriously injured was one of the most terrible things that she could imagine. It was a dangerous world, and Perseus wanted to save what she could.

It stunned her that someone could not know what a Zodiac was--especially someone who seemed to have an idea of how the past had worked, or something similar. The Zodiacs were really the only senshi, she thought, who could really have a handle on what was going on; they were used to being protectors, acclimated to sacrificing everything for their goals.
She just didn't even...
"Guardians," she said, aware of how lame that sounded. All senshi were really the guardians of something. So she clarified: "We were in the Surrounding, fending off Chaos from this system. We didn't serve the Moon Princess--"
Which, of course, reminded her of her own princess. Chronos! She had to get to Chronos... "Excuse me," she said, spinning to scan the crowd. Once she'd spotted the mint-green hair of her princess, she dashed off into the crowd.
----
"Easy for you to say, cadet, where have you been," she demanded. In another situation she might have stomped on her foot. For now, though, Gunn would take this opportunity to recuperate as best she could; she ducked behind Euterpe and took a few deep breaths. "Give me a minute, okay?"

"Hit the base!"
Everything around him might have been chaos, and he'd lost track of Europa in the throng, but he'd heard that clear enough. He was pretty sure he'd seen Castor, but the Ice Senshi seemed distracted, which made Regulus uncharitably wonder who'd flashed their panties, too caught up in the snow and fighting to realize that Castor had a few problems of his own.
So far he hadn't been doing terribly well, and he was debating discussing this feeble feeling 'upgrade' with a cat, but it sounded like someone had stumbled on something, so...
"Noble claws of the lion!!" He shouted again, frustrated. He'd done so well the first night out it had been scary, this time he felt like he couldn't do a damn thing.

It had been a mistake to go directly at her. Her power was in her, but from a certainly point. The cracks on her throne had resulted in cracks in her body, and it wasn't hard to connect the dots after that. He should have known. Their snowglobes had brought her here, so why not just take the snowglobes away? The only problem was that he still was hard up on keeping one, but now that he knew there was no reason to – that the Ice Queen had been the only one to talk to him, there was no point in being hard up on saving any. Keeping the snowglobes would say he was a slave to her, and he was already furious enough to have been her toy to bring the snowglobes here. To have kept them in such precious condition.
Smiling, he aimed his weapon again, and THIS time, he went for the fountain, the chair, but most of all, the cracks that lead to the snowballs. He wanted her to go down, and he wanted to see her flinch and twitch under pangs of pain. If he could, he'd melt her under a heat lamp, but for now, he'd just break her into bits. At the same time, he noticed the fight between Tanzanite, Linarite, and Castor move about, but remain heated. Something was going on, and he wished he was closer to hear. The expression on their faces said pain and anger, but he did not know what. It was strange, but he wanted to eavesdrop as much as he wanted to fight alongside them.
Distractions. Distractions. They had already been yelled at by the General to keep at this false Queen (how many would they have this year?), and he pulled his weapon back and sent it out once more. Cooommmeee On. Crack. Break to bits. I have OTHER things to do right now. He thought, willing this enemy to shatter.
By now the metal from the chains had frozen his hands and it was harder and harder to throw as his fingers became numb and rigid. It was as if he wasn't even wearing gloves at this point.

For a brief moment, a moment of Let Us Never Mention This Again. EVER, Saiph could have happily hugged and kissed some of the members of the Negaverse. Why hadn't she seen it before? The base. The mother ******** base. Grinning gleefully, she began circling the throne like a shark on the trail of blood. Someone had finally rescued that little girl and gotten her away. Castor was still fighting with Miss Monster Arm, but most other people who could were doing there best to attack the base.
Sucking freezing air into her lungs, she finally found a spot where she'd more or less have enough room. Frowning with concentration, she began to pull her energy into an attack. One that was well know to break bones and destroy property. What this called for was good old Tail Thrash. And with luck, she had enough energy left in this cold to summon up a decent one.
Ducking a flying icicle, she knelt in the snow and slowly (too slowly) built up power. Please, let this help, she prayed silently to the REAL Princess. Then, with a strident yell, she released the energy and aimed it, not at the ice witch, but at the base of the throne.
"Tail Thrash!"
And, in the swirling snow and ice particles, she could see the faint golden outline of a gigantic sauropod tail sweep through everything in its path to batter the throne.

It was only after her attack had landed that Pegasus let herself look away from the ice queen, landing in a crouch a fair distance away from everyone else - a good place to survey the area. Already she could see the remnants of previous attacks, icicles and droplets of blood littering the street. She was mildly surprised to see it was not the negaverse who was on the attack, tipped off by all the negaverse agents who were also trying to do some damage to the giant icicle-woman. After all that had happened, Pegasus was cynical about many things, and she wouldn't have been surprised if it had been a youma, but it didn't seem to be the case. Senshi and nega both seemed adamant to bring down the threat, although for the most part they seemed to ignore each other, with the exception of Castor. A few feet away, she could see the other eternal senshi was in some sort of conflict with Lina and another nega she didn't recognize, and for half a second she considered acting as his backup. She wasn't sure how much it'd be appreciated, and in the end contented herself to providing a watchful eye instead.
It made her uneasy, all the negaverse, but she put it in the back of her mind. There were quite a few senshi around, and this many wouldn't go down without a good fight.
A good few feet away, she could see Chibimoon surrounded by her usual entourage, as well as Flora with Chronos and Nemesis with another she didn't recognize, a mild relief in the sight. At least they seemed alright. Guilt ebbed just slightly, she turned her attention back on the snow queen, barely leaping out of the way as she sprayed icicles onto the scene. Spinning on her heel, the senshi of dreams focused as she powered her attack, noticing the weakness the senshi of sound had located and aiming for that spot.
