When Lillian looked into Callysto's eyes Callysto felt as if her heart would explode -- in the bad way. "I -- never." She whispered. But the filthy creature wants to hurt her poor bride doesn't she? Yessss... "NO!" Callysto's hands flew to her head and she began roughly massaging her temples while quietly 'shhh-ing' the small voice. "No, no, no..."

Lillian sighed and looked away again. "What do you want me to say Callysto?" She said in a watery, quavering voice. "You killed your parents. I still love you. You left me alone...I still love you. And you want to hurt me. I still love you. Nothing can change that. You mean the world to me. But you left ME standing there. And now you tell me you love me...it's a bit too late, don't you agree?"

"I can't understand why." She looked down at the stone floor. "I want you to believe me."

"Well.."She splutterd, choking on new tears running down her pale, soft cheeks "It's a little hard to believe and trust someone who hurts you so badly. I loved my husband until he died, Callysto, and he was abusive. And I'll do the same for you, love you till the end. But..but if you aren't ready to care about me the way I care about you..then...then maybe it is better this way." She choked on the last sentence, knowing it wasn't better this way at all. She didn't understand Callysto's reasoning. Was it that impossible to see Lillian's love for her? She steadied herself and said, with as much dignity as she could muster, "I have to go. ((In real life)) G-goodbye..Callysto." And with a last quick glance at the woman on the floor, she ran down the corridor to the great hall, to get breakfast, then sleep in her office.

Callysto was sure death would be less painful than watching Lillian walk away. She pounded her fist into the stone wall of the corridor -- the glass vile still clutched to her chest shattering upon impact, slicing Callysto's own skin open. Callysto's blood mixed with the blood from the vile and she felt deliriously happy for just a moment. A moment when everything was as it should have been. The illusion quickly faded into reality however and Callysto was harshly thrown back into her life as it was now. Shattered and torn into bits and pieces that only one person could touch -- and that person wouldn't.

Aludra Yvette... Aludra stood their near the Language Master's desk dumbfounded. It was painful to watch her best friend be so shattered and destroyed by the Headmistress. In fact, she was a little confused about this whole thing; the only thing Aludra knew to do in this certain situation was to try and console her Professor. She quickly gather her belongings and walked just outside of the classroom into the corridor and saw a blood covered Callysto standing... just standing. What could she do to comfort such a broke woman? "Callysto..." she whispered as she moved towards her friend. Aludra gingerly placed her hand on the elf's arm being careful not to startle her. She gave her true friend a sad smile that said she would be there for her if need be. "I'll be around if you need me." With those last words Aludra walked down the corridor towards a different part of the castle. The Language Master needed some time to herself. ...7th Year Slytherin

Gryffindor Prefect Sparrow----Gryffindor ----3rdyear Gryffinclaw Quidditch Captain And Seeker
Sparrow had been in the corner when the Headmistress had entered. Sparrow hadn't known what to do when they started up. Getting up and walking out would be awkward. Sparrow had sat there at her desk and had hid behind her book. She felt that attracting attention to herself in this argument would not be a good idea. She had tried not to absorb every detail but it was hard at times. Sparrow was shocked at this encounter and when they had left Sparrow sat there for a couple minutes contemplating it before figuring it would be best to leave before the professor found her there. She quickly scooped up her stuff and shuffled out the door noticing Aldura comfort the professor for a minute before leaving. Sparrow headed the same direction as Aldura just wanting to get out of there. Her head was swimming with confusion.

Amelia Frances Joan
Amelia was silent. She felt as if her heart was crashing, while tears poured from her face. She felt the unrecognizable pull between the two of them. But pain was what she felt the most. She barely understood what was being said, only that the professor wanted to hurt her. Not her Sing. But even that wasn't true. She was hurting her, and it wasn't what she wanted. From each of them was more emotion than she'd ever felt. She tried to break free, but was falling spiraling into them. Only when half suddenly disappeared, as Sing left the room, did she regain her vision. Standing on wobbly legs, her heart wanted to help this teacher, but her mind knew better. Somethings you left alone. You can only help when you're in control. So she ran past Aludra and Sparrow.

Blaine had been in the back of the room, as usual, when the headmistress had come in. Only her eyes and the top of her head was visible of the book she had in front of them. The professor and headmistress obviously hadn't noticed the eleven-year-old girl staring at them with wide eyes over an upside down book. She had grabbed a book at random and opened it to a random page to avoid being noticed when the screaming had started. Being noticed by the two women would not be good. Blaine listened to the entire argument, but closed her eyes halfway through it and merely listened. She had heard her two moms having an argument extremely similar not even a month before she had received her acceptance letter from Hogwarts, though their argument had been about her. She packed up her things quickly and left the classroom at a sprint, brushing past Aludra and Sparrow. She didn't notice the tears streaming from her eyes until she was outside.

Callysto Volkova | Language Master | Head of Slytherin The language professor barely registered her oldest friend speaking to her and several young students rushing past. Good. It's better that they run. The monster likes to eat little girls. Callysto moved stiffly into her classroom, picked up her cane, and strode out.
