"Well, we're in a large group now?" Alessa amended, hoping Iolanthe wasn't too upset about it. Well, she seemed alright, considering. Alessa supposed she just had to be grateful it didn't seem like any of them had been hurt too badly because of their separation...at least that they knew of. As far as how dangerous this place was, well, she wasn't quite sure. "I don't know, we haven't run into anything yet but...I think there must be...um, little people of some kind, elves? I keep seeing dead ones." At least there were no dead or fallen students. That was a good sign.
"Well...it doesn't look too bad on you," Alessa told Sin. It looked a little strange, too, but she had a hard time believing anything could look bad on that ghoul. She was obviously very pretty. "And if you're warm, that's all that matters?"
"No need to be sorry!" She assured Quarria. If anything, they were sorry for leaving her behind while she was fighting that thing. After all, if she had ended up needing anything...but then, she seemed pretty strong and self-sufficient, so that was good. "And thanks for the offer but-"
She stopped when Gabe asked if she'd ride with him. Passing him a sideways glance it was clear she was hugely skeptical of the whole ordeal. She sighed, whispering to him, "Did you ever think you berating me was why I can't relax?" She wanted to add 'and making strange suggestions', but decided that would just start up an argument about how riding a dragon huddled in a group was in fact a very great and practical idea. She just didn't want to deal with it. Instead she looked to Quarria, smiling uncertainly, "Well, only if Quarria wants me to. Honestly, I'm just fine with walking so please don't feel you need to take me on for no reason."

She stares blankly. HP:19 4 damage  The deer stops in it's tracks, staring back just as blankly. ".....?" HP: 2Tahki felt the weight of those deers eyes and intensified her gaze the best she could. "GRRRRRRRRR" Rumbled in her throat while loud techno blasted from her headphones. HP:14 1 damage ...... ......... Staring contest. Forever. HP: 1........ .......... ......... Julian blinked when Tahki and the reindeer just... stared at one another. It was the strangest "battle" he'd seen so far with the JOYful inhabitants, and he'd seen a drunk tree.
But Tahki won and the reindeer just walked off, leaving a present behind,
"That... was strange," he said before he walked up to his friend. The little fae-looking ghoul was there too, she'd also warned Tahki about the approaching "threat". He gave her a small smile and a nod of hello.

"KWeeehhrawwrr," A warm reassuring sound rumbles through her throat. Tahki let Julian know she was doing just fine. Tahki grinned quite proud of her self as she literally pranced over to the gift to pick it up and save it in her satchel. Julian tore her attention away from her victory though he must have been worried.
Julian was right though that had been a strange battle. Not that Tahki minded. She was having fun.

-Yasha Alchemist Hazel walking in the crunching snow saw a reindeer come out of know where and attack a fellow student. She desperately wanted to get on the action, but it was everyones own battle to fight. And seeing as she was at full health she had to be thankful? But still, she wanted to fight soon. She grinned a toothy grin to think maybe she could actually go and take down mister Sandy Claws herself.
Trot.Trot. She followed the lead of foot prints. "Hello, little girl, would you like some cannddyyyy?" a nearby elf inquires. Though, their candy seems to be very...sharp. Not sure if you want to eat that... HP: 8

"That was so cool!" Astra said in glee from her perch, having watched the fight as well. The gryphon had just stared at it, and the reindeer had walked off! She had defeated the JOYfull creature just by looking at it!
She jumped off her perch, letting herself hover to the ground and ran over to the two students. The owl was also there to, but this time the owl was in his student form. "Hello again!" she said to Julian, returning the smile he gave her.

Iolanthe shook her head at her brother, the strands of her prehensile hair swaying to and fro with the motion. It was clear that she thought he'd gotten into unnecessary trouble but for the sake of company she simply ignored it and adressed Alessa instead."So that's what all those things were?" she asked, sighing as she glanced back over her shoulder again. Why didn't they have something normal like reindeer ghosts?
Iolanthe quirked a brow at Quarria's offer, sliding her gaze along the large enormous body of the serpent. If this had been any other time, any other place she would have denied with a scoff. However, she was injured and there were filthy little.. things everywhere. The lowest of Halloween students were better than these poorly dressed tiny 'elf' people.
"Sure, why not," she answered, then a small smirk spread over her lips, "at least you're useful in this form - Gabe's too tiny to ride." She threw a sly glance at her brother, that impish smirk planted firmly in place. She did notice that the Alessa girl was just a little closer than Io would have preferred, but she supposed her brother had his indulgences.
"Besides, maybe if we're riding on someone we won't be able to be attacked as easily." She took a few steps closer to Quarria's side, then frowned as she planted her good hand on her hip. "Do we just climb up?" She looked from Quarria, then to Gabe, then back again. It seemed like a difficult task given her rather.. indisposed condition.

Well. That had been... awkward. And rather anti-climatic. He'd heard someone yell a warning, and turned to find a white gryphon locking gazes with a reindeer. His head had whipped back and forth like he was watching a ten-hiss match, as he waited for one of them to do something.
At least the reindeer was a good sport, he thought, watching as the Gryphon pranced over to the gift after the 'battle' was finished. And whoever the gryphon was, he or she seemed to be enjoying herself.
"Vell done." he congratulated him or her, remembering the flush of pleasure when the boil Gabrian had congratulated Johan on his own victory. His attention was drawn away, however, when a small gnome-looking man attacked another nearby student. This town was nowhere near as deserted as he'd thought, apparently. Johan hung back, thinking that he'd better keep his Bells on hand as he watched the fight.

((Sorry this is so late! Doing some winter cleaning XDD)) As Corbin moved around him, he watched him out of the corner of his eyes every now and then, but was also looking around for the others. Iolanthe's arm had been badly hurt in her fight, and he was concerned that she wouldn't be able to properly protect herself while in this horrid place. Was her brother properly looking out for her? He should, if he's any kind of proper boil. Braum, he was sure could handle himself and look out for his companion... he seemed level headed enough when he wasn't being ruled by his heart. That was just odd to Livi but he'd ponder that later. As he was lifted up by his arms, he tried not to look too uncomfortable about it. Had nothing to do with the fact that Corbin was a boil or anything - he didn't easily freak out about some things - but because he wasn't used to flying quite like this. But time wasn't on their side. The sooner they found the workshop and snagged what they needed, the better. The still streets and rare, fighting inhabitants made him vastly uneasy, almost fearing what was coming up. But he'd face it. They had all come this far, nothing was going to stop him from reaching his goal! Just so long as that ninja fellow didn't show up... A light frown came to him at the boil's report. Another ghoul? Did he have two of them? Well, Braum worked fast, then! But he hadn't noticed him or the one from before when he had arrived. Were they still out there or here somewhere in the mesh of students? Looking down, he could have sworn he noticed Iolanthe, her brother and Alessa but they swept by too quickly too be sure. Soon they were landing, and he noticed the girl Corbin had mentioned. She looked... interesting but he nodded at the fact she had taken out one of the things here. "Sounds like a good stable fighter then, if she could handle these things." He smirked at Corbin, his way of showing approval. "I noticed an elf with swords and reindeer with bright noses... they seemed a bit tougher than the beasts on Icy Path. Hopefully... the next round is just as easily defeated, right?" Waving to Aksaja, he bowed to the ghoul. "Pleasure to meet you. I'm Livi. Good job on taking down one of these infernal beasts..."

From her spot atop Nuk Sammy could only stare her mouth agape at the strange scene. Did the Gryphon girl just have a staring contest with a deer and win? Shaking her head and rubbing her eyes she tried to forget the whole scene.
This place was Jacked to no end.
