Six watched as Alter stood foolishly in one place, even if only one tamer attacked in the end. Six growled, his hands lighting up. "Flame Inferno!" He called, a stream of flame flying forward to collide with the Ancient Digimon's attack.

Alter grinned, they were starting to run. "Dio finish it." As soon as people started to panic and flee the second wave was blasted out. Dark Energy filled Dio's mouth for a moment before it was send out, a deadly wave of power flying out towards the area. The attack would damage anyone who failed to block, and delete any caught it in for more then a few moments. Alter laughed, watching the first virus tamer break apart into data.

.:City Right Outside the Mall:.

Gatomon looked up as he saw the wave of energy produce and come forward. He would have gone up and attacked, but he had no clue what to do. He had Toru in his arms and he was bad to begin with he didnt want to know what would happen if he were to be hit by the wave again. Gatomon looked up at Kutay and then at the area around him everything seemed so different. People were fleeing and people were getting hurt. The thing was that it also felt the same. Gatomon is now stronger thanks to digivolution but he is still helpless since he doesnt have Toru with him. he was lost and confused. He looked back at Toru and hugged him again. "Toru....." He looked into the boys face and felt each and every rasping breath as he shuddered unconsciously. He then looked at Boltmon who not only had to carry his own partner but Toru and the other kid as well. He didnt know what to do....but Toru would....

Spike noticed the building being destroy and that Kaya had been taken away. He had failed but he needed to live. Spikes digimon returned to his digivice suddenly. "What I didn't do that!" Spikes armor started to fade. "Hehe looks like I used up my half an hour in this form." Spike passed out he had a limit to the amout of concentration he could use and he had gone over the limit. Spike laid there on the roof as the city crumbled.

The skies of Network City/Wherever the Heck Alter is Floating

Rebecca watched the flames meet midair, colliding together in a spectacular explosion before canceling one another out. Fighting fire with fire, had she adpoted such a stragety, and was this tamer able to meet the power of an ancient digimon? No it must have been a fluke. Rebecca would not let any thought of doubt cross her mind, at this point it was all or nothing. Another cliche, she was really bad at this today. Rebecca could not help but be lighthearted at a time like this, it was in her nature as a performer. As a tactician as well, Rebecca could not help but realize the sort of bind she was in. Even if they made it out of Network City alive the damage had already been done. It would be easier to escape now while there was still time, turn heel and run like the rest of the cowards. The knight in Rebecca told her differently, that she was better than those vermin tamers who had started this attack and fighting to the last breath to protect those innocents still in the city was an honorable way to go. The tamer gripper her head, she was conflicted. Atop a large dragon, hurtling towards your enemy above a burning city was not a very ideal time to be at war with one's self. She closed her eyes for a moment, just a brief respite was all she needed to sort things out. The city was not gracious enough to give that to her though, as Alter was already preparing to launch another attack. "No time for this, Ancient Greymon Omega Corona Once more!" They had flown closer to the pair now, the attack would be more effective. Rebecca knew this would be shrugged off by the opponent, that was it's purpose. AncientGreymon let loose another large fireball from it's mouth aimed at the Digimon Alter had adressed as Dio. Instead of staying in the same spot though, Riku spread his great wings and shot upward until the pair hovered over Alter and Dio. When the digimon let forth his second wave of destruction, Rebecca watched with horror as the first virus tamer broke apart into data.

For a moment she stood there wide-eyed in shock, her arms raised in front of her face as if that would protect her from the coming attack. It did not come though, as the two were above Dio, and out of range for now. Not far away enough, as they could still see digimon, virus and vaccine alike underneath them. "This is horrible," She muttered, wondering what was keeping her sane at this moment. Her own digimon were probably suffering as well. It was a troubling thought. She was no use to anybody gaping in shock. At that moment Rebecca decided, she would blaze her own path. The spirit of ancientgreymon approved, at that moment the Dragon's wings surged with a new brilliance. "Yes, it's up to us old friend!" Rebecca whispered, lightly patting Riku on the crown. In that moment she officially decided it was time to wing it. The dragon tucked his wings in and divebombed Dio, relying on his digi-chrome skull to do a good deal of dmaage. Rebecca herself had jumped off of Riku, and was falling through arms tucked around her sides. She was aiming for Alter, hoping to knock some sense into him. At the last moment she contorted her body in an impressive feat of acrobatics. Then the tamer pulled her right arm back, and in grand fashion shouted "FALCON PUNCH!" aiming to throw a punch at the boy square in the jaw.

.:Mall, Tamake:.
"Murderer!"
Kapurimon screamed as rivers of tears fell from the tiny round digimons massive red eyes
"YOU MURDERER!"

Tamake continued pressing down on the lifeless shell of a girl lying cold and still on the floor. Drops of blood from the former gash in her pale throat ran down her skin and disappeared under her collar.
Her lips had gone blue from lack of oxygen, and despite the air forced into her lungs she did not start breathing again... She was dead..

The mall was slowly falling apart around them. Lamps fell from the ceiling and walls cracked and threatened to give in under the weight of the many floor they held on their shoulders.
The horrible sound of screaming continued to wash over the city.
And still Sarah Conner remained completely... utterly... dead..

.: Rebecca and Toan (Kinda):.
Somewhere, far away from the scene of battle a thick curtain of chains attached to the beams of an old cave far below spiral tower rustled softly, waving back and forth as a silent wind moved through the room. A water droplet fell from the ceiling and hit the surface of the lake below with a wet splash. The surface rippled for a few stunningly short seconds before it returned to a mirror like state once more. The darkness seemed thicker than blood, flowing like seeping oil from the corners and shadows, and from within these shadows came she sound of something.. breathing.
Then, out of the silence, came a strange beep and a tiny device, no bigger than a cell phone, lit up.
The darkness woke. It moved towards the surface faster than the human eye could see.
Soon after, the basement was empty once more.

Murmuxmon and the digimons at his side, Cherubimon, slashangemon and the noble knight had no time to react when suddenly a dark shadow fell over them and a sense of cold washed over their bodies right before they disappeared. The same unfortunate fate befell Rebecca as she stood on the back of her digimons far above the streets of network city.

The group soon found themselves in a forest, standing outside a small, cozy wooden cabin with white windows and a small garden of flowers and apple trees. Murmuxmon who was already injured and weak could not take the pressure of the teleportation and de-digivolved as soon as they arrived. The digimons body burst into data and shifted from his warrior body into a much smaller frame, that of an Impmon clad with a much too big blue silk scarf tied around his neck. The tiny demon fell over graceslessly as blood began to seep onto the blue cloth.

(I am seriously beginning to consider keeping this guy around for a while, I am starting to like him! .. Is it a bad sign when you start liking your own NPC´s ? ))

.:Basement, Sheriti:.
Barbamon smiled slightly behind the golden mask covering his face. The ancient demon ran a hand trough his beard in a gesture that seemed almost thoughtfull as he leaned back in the wooden chair.
"Ah my dear Sheriti, come to join us atlasr. I was afraid that we would not be able to find you in the midst of all this chaos but it seems we were lucky"
The demon lord let his red eyes wander from the girls face to the object of her attention, the vampire digimon standing behind him
"Yes, Reniko and you have quite a history do you not? I thought it best to bring him with me.. as a sign of good faith"
The demon tipped his head to the side. He extended one hand in a polite gesture towards one of the chairs
"Please sit down child, I imagine you must have had a rough day and I have much to tell you"


.:Cabin:.
Kaya woke up with a jolt, asleep one second and very much awake the next. The girls first instinctive action was to roll away from the figure looming above her and reached for the digivice hanging around her waist in a loose silver cord. Her white dress had been torn at the bottom and the left shoulder strip ripped off, leaving her looking like a war victim rather than the royal she was.
She continue to kneel with one hand on her digivice even after she understood that she was no longer near the city, her digivice registered none of her digimons close by..
At least.. not for a few seconds.
Kaya remained silent as Hao asked his questions, but she refused to answer. Her amber eyes burned with a cold determination as she averted her gaze from the digimon. Ignoring him completely.

Alter stepped forward, watching the first buildings of the city collapse, this was taking longer then expected.

Vayne (Don't worry about God Modding, I can do it better! wink )
"Heaven's Gate." Cross, the MangaAngemon, watched as Dio was attack, as much as he loathed it, he wanted Dio to keep up the attack the virus digimon must be destroyed. Cross watched as his gate formed, the blast of fire beind drawn in, the gate closing behind. "You shall not harm that blasted virus."

Rebecca
"Flame Inferno!" Six, the Cloaked Deamon, called again, his blasts of fire hitting AncientGreymon's attack. "This is like shooting ducks." He commented, laughing a little to himself before he charged into the battle. Six flew towards AncientGreymon, his fist covered in dark energy as he pulled it back, "Dust Knuckle!" He called, the fist flying towards AncientGreymon.

Alter looked up as a girl dropped from the sky, her fist connecting with his face. Alter stumbled back, clutching his jaw. He turned back to this insane girl. "Are you hear to stop me?" He asked.
