Looks up from the fire to Annie. "Annie? Could you please turn back into your human form? Vampire form...whatever..." Looks back into the fire. My eyes seemed to be looking at somthing more distant then the fire. Keeps poking the fire with a stick.

Annie nodded softly.... She jumped off and changed forms, into the human one. But, now she could read it but it was still kinda fuzzy.

Grandfather starts the story again once she's transformed, "So...to continue with the story. The first born, which would be Fredrick, is gifted with mostly spiritual prowess. The second born, which would be Shawn, is gifted with spiritual and physical prowess. And the third and last born, which would be Danieal (Daniel), is gifted with mostly physical prowess. The current King is their father. As have all the other Kings been from the 2nd highest family, our family...The Madehido Clan. The King has power over all the four familys. He's power is absolute. Like the Alpha of an entire pack of dogs. Each pack of dogs has their own Alpha, but the King Alpha reigns over them all. Now we reach the most funniest and hillarious part of this story..."
I groan. And continue to stare into the fire. Grandfather just smirks at my expression.
"You see Annie, all the kings are middle borns...that's the way its always been and always will be. The prowess of spiritual and physical gives them immense strength and powers. that what makes them perfect to be the King. Our little screwup here is well...you get the picture..."

She looked to Shawn with soft eyes, so she wondered why it'd be a bad thing to be a king.... but she had nodded. She just didn't expect to of heard Shawn being king.... So, she questioned when he would initially become a king.

Grandfather see's the look that Annie gives Shawn, lowers his voice alittle, "...A new King is only appointed when the old one dies. And in our world...it's usually an assisanation." Takes a breath, then in a much lighter tone. "Can't blame him though for wanting to take this path though. Staying here. What with having already been killed once. Well...i guess that didn't really count. Seeing as Damien carried your soul after that event...waiting for your body to be reborn again. It was sortof like you were asleep the whole time.." He trails off when he see's me glaring into the fire. He turns his attention back to Annie, "That's why he's been living here. This place-" He gestures to the area, "This forest, the house, all around us...is protected by very powerful magic. His brother and Uncle cant find him here...he's been hiding out here." He then gives Shawn a stern look, "Though im sure your father knows exactly where you are."

She had nodded faintly, before going over to Shawn to wrap an arm around his shoulders to try and calm him slightly. But, she trusted his grandfather.... Didn't want to know much about the brother though... But, she kept that to herself.

my voice barely a whisper, "He killed me in that life cause he was afraid. Oneof my talents was that i could come up with new magic techniques, and other techniques. It was a hobby, a passion of mine. He killed me because he though i was up to somthing. If i ever became King...heh...then he'd kill me for the throne.."

Both Grandfather and I laugh, "Sweetheart. It's not that kind of assisanation. If it ever came to a fight, it would be with magic, strength, speed, and a whole lot of other things. Not things such as human weapons.." Chuckles a bit.

She whines, but nods....Then, she stops when she's realizing some thing. "Wait, since your training me, I could somewhat protect you if they do a screw up move?"

Holds my hand up. And shadows appear and swirl around. Then they disappear. "Your a Vampire right now. Which means all you should be thinking about is blood. But your training right now...is not to embrace your Vampire side. At least right now. Your training...is going from Vampire to Human." Smiles. "And yea...it's hard to do."

She looked to him, confused. "I don't even know the difference.... So far, I could be half and half and I wouldn't know..." She then changed to a cat, then a tiger then a fishy (yes, fishy) before back to the form before. "I know those, but the human one is the only one I know. If I can change between the two, I'm screwed."

I poke my finger into your mouth. See's your fang. "You don't know much about Vampires...do you? There is no flip floping from Vampire to Human even if you are a ShapeShifter. Once you go from Human to Vampire. There is no going back. But...lucky for you. I know a loop-hole. Which is why i brought us out here. That and so you could see Grandpa, and hear the story from him." Looks to the graveyard and then back to you. "See that tiny graveyard? We're gonna stick you in the middle of it. It's gonna suck the Vampire'ness outof you and your gonna go back to being human. And yes, you'll still be a ShapeShifter. And if i remember hearing your thought's correctly...you said your true form was a mouse? Well, after this is through...your true form will be this human form. And the mouse form will just be somthing you'll be able to transform into you." Stands up, holding my hand out. "Wanna get started?" Smiles.
