"Princess!" Alex shouted, but they weren't able to hear him. He walked towards the door and started pounding on it, but the preacher was so loud, everyone inside couldn't hear him. Alex could hear what was going on, but he just kept pounding at the door.

When the preacher stopped talking, even if just a moment, someone heard Alex pounding. They got up and unlocked the door as the preacher said, "Speak now, or forever hold your peace."

Alex fell in when he pounded in the door and fell on the floor. "WAIT!" he shouted as he looked up at Spirit and her "fiance". He quickly stood up.

Everyone looked around at Alex. The preacher closed his book. Some people started whispering while Spirit smiled at seeing him. The king got to his feet, "Who dares interrupt my son's wedding?" he barked, glaring at the knight. Spirit's mother stood up.

"My name is Alexander, and I am, or was, the princess's escort." he said, looking at Spirit. He walked up to her and got on one knee. "Princess...i'm sorry for not realizing it sooner. I now feel the same way. We have been freinds for a long time, and now that I think about it, I do want to spend my life with you." he said smiling up at Spirit. "I love you."
((wow, don't you think this is kinda embarressing?))

Spirit was shocked, but she smiled, opening her mouth to say something, but the king interrupted, "A Princess with a Knight, that is outrageous. Spirit is engaged to marry my son!" he turned to glare at Spirit's mother, "Did you know of this Catherin? Are you trying to play a game on my people?" he snapped. Guards moved in and grabbed Alex, haling him to his feet."Father, stop!" The man standing next to Spirit said, stepping down from next to the preacher and looking at his father. "John? What are you doing? Get back up there." His father said. John shook his head, "No dad, I'm not the one Spirit's supposed to be with." He glared at the guards, telling them to let go of Alex. They released him and John took Spirit's hand, bringing her down so she stood with him and Alex. he took Alex's hand and put it over Spirit's, "Spirit belongs with him."
(i is but I think it's sweet ^^)

Alex looked at to where his and Spirit's hands were at. He smiled a bit as he looked at Spirit as he held her hand a bit tighter.

Spirit smiled, interlacing her fingers with Alex's. John talked with his father, calming him down and telling him there could still be peace between the regions. The king finally agreed. Spirit's mother was happy to see the two together and she came over to hug them before pulling away. "Do you think you both can handle being King and Queen?" She asked, looking at them both.

She nodded, "I"m sure Spirit can help you if you have trouble. I think you'll both be good rulers." Spirit's mother said, smiling. Spirit smiled, taking the veil off her head with her free hand since she didn't need it.

Spirit turned her head, looking up in to Alex's eyes. She smiled at him.

Alex continued to smile at her. He leaned a bit closer to her as he wrapped his arms around her.

Spirit felt her heart pick up it's pace. She continued to look up at Alex, her hands landing on his shoulders.

A few moments later, Alex softly kisses Spirit. His arms completely around her.
